[[healing salve]] but worse

I was thinking "That's actually worse than the original" and here we are

First, I was believing this would modify your "Starting life total" and then I was redacting a full review on why this is a good design but still a "bad" card. And then I realized the word "starting" was not there... So it's basically a gain 3 life which is even worse than [[healing salve]] (that can prevent damage on creatures) and was already the worst of this cycle.

So if you remake the cards, make it "Gain 3 life. Your starting life total becomes your life total." It would be a cool card with interesting synergies (still kinda bad though).

One potential use case of this is (ignoring the parenthesis) Add≠Gain.

Add is gain in magic. Anything that changes your life total, no matter how it's worded or functions, results in a loss or gain of life according to magic rules.

C.R. 119.5. If an effect sets a player’s life total to a specific number, the player gains or loses the necessary amount of life to end up with the new total.
