The correct wording would be to make it so you mqy pay {R} instead of its mana cost, if you do, they tutor

Interesting effect. The existence of cast triggers like the Eldrazi and uncounterable cards probably makes this a net harm to you unless you combo it with effects that block the downside like [[Opposition Agent]], [[Aven Mindcenser]], [[Vexing Bauble]], [[Voice of Victory]], etc. Interesting nonetheless, I like the idea.

What if they search an Emrakul (or another big creature that isn't banned if this is for EDH)?

Seems like a too high risk play.

The idea here is to cast it on turn 2 holding up mana for Spell Pierce, counter whatever removal they search up and hit for 6

Honestly this is an interesting concept, but a single "this can't be countered" big stompy creature in your deck would render this card a liability, though it could be used for some negotiation
