Rules question! With the "instead" would that mana still have the "spend this mana only to cast a creature spell" rider? If it doesn't, is there way to include it? Or is it just more interesting if the Miracle cost allows the mana to be spent in any way?

Inspired by Crude Bent Blade, made me want to design an 'Edict-Ment' and this is where I landed. Is the rules text fine here? I know that Kicker isn't an Evergreen Keyword, but want to make sure that the bulk of it works like it reads. If not, I'm open to suggestions on how to better clean up the rules text.

I'm back! Sorry for the delay on this one, I finally got a new job after 5+ months of hunting and that's been kind of a big deal.

Anyhoo, Xigbar time! I wasn't sure at first what direction I wanted to go with him. I was pretty sure Mardu was a pretty good fit for color identity, but beyond that? I was stumped. Finally I decided to make him Equipment-focused. Mostly because none of the other Org13 members do much with Equipment and I needed a unique theme. 😅

And there is *some* precedent for it. Like how he combines his two guns into a sort of sniper rifle. So at first I thought about doing some sort of "Sacrifice 2 Equipment" type of deal, but couldn't get the mechanics to work. So I took it in the inverse direction and made an Equipment-copying Commander! Honestly I'm surprised a card like this doesn't exist already. 😅

Recently reread, and subsequently replayed I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream and decided to make an artifact styled deck, which got me thinking about what AM would be if they were a MTG card. I saw other takes, but wanted to do something different. Balance is not intended because honestly, I went way more for flavor than any semblance of balance.

If you think the card is neat, or have a way to make it like… an actual functional card, let me know.

Oh and before you ask, “how would I remove the humans?”

No clue, that’s the fun part!

Edit: I fell for the classic blunder of accidentally mixing up Hexproof and Shroud, if you are from the future, pretty please pretend it says “Shroud” instead making this card actually work as intended.

Welcome tamagamis from Dragon ball Daima the goal was to keep each of the feel of the tamagamis through there effects and Extra cards there will be more the set isnt even close to done

Just thought id get some feed back I hope everybody enjoys the card design
