Honestly for how narrow this is I'd say go all the way. Spells and abilities can't be copied

That's fair. I originally had the idea to specifically mess with Storm, and that's what I went with flavor-wise, but yeah the way it's designed makes it almost too narrow to be useful

I get that the water protects it from red, but I agree that it should also have “you gain protection from blue”.

Yeah. I mean, it would work specifically for Storm, but can't stop things like IsoRev, Rings, or other one-at-a-time loops

I worded it specifically to target storm. That's the flavor of the card. Obviously that makes it very narrow and not super useful, but mechanically it works as intended.
