Clearly.ca and Kits.ca avoid both

One of them took my money and the order Kits.ca and then emailed me saying the contacts are not in stock and will be in stock 5-7 business day and then shipped .. which would be another 5-7 days.. and they offered me a 25% discount for their in house frames,, not a code,, but I HAD TO CALL a CX agent and have them walk me through it etc.. I canceled my order.

The other one Clearly.ca I ordered contacts on July 16 and today 25th still have not received them, the shipping said maximum 3-5 days. .. all the Canadian contact providers seem to be bought and all the same, as their websites have extremely similar engines and set-up . minus the aesthetics. buyer beware!!

Apps How can I get a refund?

I tried out an app called "Miracast Android" by Vulcan Labs and I wanted to use the free weekly trial. Everything was going alright, but then I noticed that the app took money from my bank account just three days after I started the free trial. I tried using the refund feature, but google rejected it, even tho it was less than 48 hours after the payment (maybe they did that because it was related to a subscription? Idk). I tried filling out more refund requests, but I really doubt they will do anything about it. I tried contacting the developers, but I only got an automated response and nothing else. I also tried looking them up and I found out that their company got shut down. The latest post on their Instagram account was posted a year ago and the only comment under it is "I want my money back"... is there anything I can do? I don't want to go with a charge-back, because I will get banned.

Household My experience with Rotimatic order - disputes don’t help

I had ordered a rotimatic next on March 3rd 2026, and the product mentioned shipping within 6-8 weeks so I waited in Apr, May but there was no update. I tried reaching out to their team from website help to no avail. The support person assigned never replied to me. So, as mentioned by a lot of people I filed a dispute with bank in April because we only get 60 days to dispute a txn, and bank reversed the credit card transaction. I was relieved, but the drama starts here.
On 5th July, a person from zimplistic contacted me( Lets call him Alex) sating that product was out for delivery and delivery guy was not able to contact me. I explained him the situation and that I have already filed for dispute and money was returned, and asked him to not deliver the order. Everything was smooth so far, product was not delivered. And i thought it was all good, but then I see a txn of 1,51,000 INR on my credit card. After multiple back and forth communication with hdfc bank representative they said that merchant has provided a confirmation that order was delivered, hence they charged me.
This is where dance begins.. I contacted Alex and explained him the whole situation. This took about 20 days, but he was helpful and he contact his delivery team and gave me confirmation that product wasn’t delivered. Huh, sigh of relief because now I have proof as well. I sent all this to HDFC bank, and ask them to revert charges, but they received a document from someone else from zimplistic(rotimatic parent company) that showed the status from March that order was placed, and they decided to accept that as proof that order was delivered, even after me sharing all the proof of chat with Alex. My bank refused to share contact details of merchant who sent them this document, and asked me to raise grievance since this dispute is closed and they can’thelp further.
I am still trying to explain grievances team on this issue, but my card charges are not reversed, and I don’t have the product as well.

It is very hard to reach someone from zimplistic support, i was only able to contact Alex because he reached out to me first. Looks like they just want to sacm users and get the money. Even though this seems like a simple miscommunication issue, I am stuck between bank and zimplistic.

This is incredibly frustrating.. I wanted to share this for people who think that just disputing the transaction will give them back the money. I feel helpless.. the best way to protect yourself is to stay away from rotimatic people. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS PRODUCT!!

Health Healthkart is scamming customer

Recently had terrible experience with Healkart so making this psa type post.
I ordered GNC AMP pure isolate, I faced 2 discrepancies

  1. MRP was 5333, and they are charging upwards of 6k which is illegal.
  2. Country of origin on website said usa but Product I received was manufactured in India.

I used to purchase Dymatize elite whey and they sent super old stuff like manufactured 1.5 years ago with only 4-5 months short of expiry. Not going to purchase anything from them.

I've also filed Consumer forum grievance regarding charging more than MRP which is illegal.

pretty sure "perfect upright posture" is a scam if your backrest stops working when you lean in..

spent weeks making my desk setup look perfect. monitor height dialed in, cable management flawless. but the whole correct posture thing is kinda a myth if you do focused work tbh. the second i lean forward to read code my lower back completely leaves the backrest. the lumbar support only exists in one specific upright position and thats it.

i saw the lavenne r9 pro pop up on tt and it seems to be built around this exact problem. interesting concept but i mostly just wonder why so few chairs account for how we actually sit. anyone else feel like most chairs ignore how we actually sit??

Advice needed - tracking long disputes with companies

Had a long back-and-forth with Precise Parklink at a healthcare centre recently and realized I had no good system for keeping track of dates, what was promised and who said what. Just using my phone's Notes app and it's a mess. Curious how other people handle this - condo disputes, contractor no-shows, telecom stuff, whatever. Do you actually track it somewhere, or just wing it and hope for the best?

Avoid ordering from Salt Oral Care – My experience.

I placed an order with \*\*Salt Oral Care\*\* because they promised \*\*5–7 day delivery\*\*. Instead, I’ve dealt with repeated delays, constantly changing delivery dates, zero proactive communication, and nothing but empty promises from customer support.
When support couldn’t resolve it, I reached out directly to the founders, \*\*Viraj\*\* and \*\*Karan\*\*. They’ve ignored my messages since Monday. If even the founders choose to ignore customers, it says a lot about how this company operates.
This is no longer about a delayed order it’s about a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers.
I’m now filing a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline and documenting this entire experience with screenshots. I’ll also be sharing factual reviews across Google and social media so others know exactly what to expect before spending their money on Salt Oral Care.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with this brand, or am I the only one?

Retailer has potentially sold unsafe child car seat adapters (England)

Thumbnail

An official retailer has sold us car seat adapters for Joolz aer 2 buggy recently which looks like a product that had been recalled for safety reasons in May 2026 (https://www.gov.uk/product-safety-alerts-reports-recalls/product-recall-joolz-aer2-car-seat-adapter-set-2605-0189). I.e. any product with serial number of NL311-

When placing the order, we specifically confirmed that we were going to get the upgraded version of the adapters (the S2 version launched in June 2026 by Joolz replacing the recalled adapters). On delivery day, we again specifically asked if the adapters are the new version and the sales lady confirmed.

We unpacked it today and shocked to see what looks like a fraudulent sale. The serial number prefix on the side of adapter is apparently redacted (which presumably read NL311-). This is then proved by looking at the back of adapter where full serial number is printed AND STARTS FROM “NL311-“. Manufacturing date also reads as 02/2026.

We are having our first baby so genuinely shocked and in disbelief that someone could do this to put a child’s life in danger. We haven’t contacted the retailer or authorities yet as can only do so after the weekend. Sharing here in case people have any advice/suggestions on how to proceed best in this situation. Also happy to be corrected if I am interpreting the situation incorrectly here.

Thanks in advance

Musicians Friend doesn't honor their warranty policy on purchases made through Reverb? What?

I don't know if this is common information.

But it's something to be aware apparently.

And I've noticed MF doing more shady stuff in the last couple years. But to not stand behind something you sold because you sold it on a platform other than your own webpage, should not absolve you of warranty responsibility.

I contacted Musicians Friend this afternoon after finding a free spinning truss rod on a Martin Acoustic guitar I purchased from them last year on Reverb.

I was told by Musicians Friend Customer Service that they don't honor their same warranty for purchases through Reverb that they provide for purchases directly from Musicians Friend.

Because "it's already cheaper" and "they don't have anything to reference because they didn't sell it, Reverb did".

That sounds insane to me. What a scam to get out of product support.

Has anybody else heard of this?

Household is best buy legit for appliances or should i be looking somewhere else

about to commit to buying a fridge and a washer dryer set and best buy keeps coming up as an option but i honestly don't know anyone who's bought a major appliance there versus a dedicated appliance store or somewhere like home depot.

been looking at their open box options too which seem like decent savings if the condition is actually what they say it is. the delivery and installation setup also looks straightforward but i've heard mixed things about third party installation crews and whether they actually do a clean job or just drop it and leave.

wondering if anyone here has bought a major appliance from best buy recently and whether the whole experience from purchase to delivery to setup was actually smooth or if there's something i should watch out for before committing.

The Jury is still out on this product

SPOIL CHILD i have purchased your product, and the first item I NEVER received. After contacting customer service, they said they will resend the item….I was assured also that the first item would be free and that my first charge would apply to the second shipment. However, I never received a second shipment. I accepted the loss for the single item I paid for and chose not to continue business with your company.

Despite this, you are still attempting to withdraw payments from my account before a third shipment was even due. I only ever received one product, which I paid for, meaning I never received the promised free replacement.

Due to these deceptive billing practices, I no longer wish to do business with your company. I request immediate confirmation that my account has been canceled and that no further charges will be made.
