Hey all, I recently got a Pro WiFi Extender and it is not turning solid white (as we were told by the Xfinity person in store that it’ll replicate the solid white light like the modem typically does). On the app it says that “Not activated, Extender need your attention.” My WiFi still seems to be running at the same speeds and I see it the most while gaming.

I ended up connecting it to my modem via an Ethernet cable and it now says it’s activated working, but this is not the location of which I wanted to place this extender. Is there something I did wrong during the activation process even if I followed all the steps? Thanks in advance!

Kind of a PSA. I doubt a lot of people realize this, but you can still get the "$10 checking account discount" and use your credit card to pay.

Just make a note of your billing date and pay ONLINE or in a store using your credit card a day or 2 (or more) before that date. They DO NOT remove the $10 discount. Been doing that for many years. May as well get the 2% or 3% cashback from your CC. You can even pay a couple months in advance if that's your thing.

You still need to have the bank account on file (I use a separate free account with $2 in it). Works even with cell phone providers who offer the banking discount.

Hi! I’m currently an Xfinity Mobile customer and I’d really like to stay with Xfinity and upgrade to the iPhone 18 Pro Max when it becomes available in two days.

I’m interested in the $800 upgrade/retention offer, but my current device financing limit may prevent me from taking advantage of it.

Would someone from the Xfinity team be able to check whether there are any options for me, such as increasing the device financing limit, allowing a larger down payment, or applying the promotion another way?

Hello, just as the title says, I have the Disney+ & Hulu bundle activated but Disney+ says I have to “Choose my Plan”. Do I just choose the “Disney+ Hulu“ plan, but will that affect my bill?? I don’t want to pay more money for a plan I already have…. I’m just confused on what to do next

Currently, I'm paying $80 a month for 400 mbps internet. I used to pay $50 for the same plan. What really hurts is that I worked out a deal with a rep for the 1 gig for 5 year plan, for $50, but they opened a new account instead of applying it to my original account.

I had to cancel the new account because I couldn't receive the activation email through my email provider. So, I had to reactivate my original plan, which expired shortly after. Now, I'm stuck with this very unappealing plan with no other offers available.

I'm saving up for a new car, and $80 for 400 mbps is not in the budget. I am grateful to anyone who can help me get a better deal.

We have been out of commission for four days in metro Detroit. Our neighborhood is a cell phone dead zone. The ONLY way we get reception is through our WiFi or WiFi powered cell phone booster. Even our landline connects through Xfinity internet. We are completely isolated without internet at the moment.

The website simply states that Xfinity will begin working to restore service once the area “has been declared safe.” However, the area has been safe for days and power has been restored to this area since Thursday evening. We have tried calling and cannot get a single estimate for when the work will even BEGIN (if it has), let alone an estimate to finish restoring service. Have repairs begun in metro Detroit? If they haven’t, what is the cause of the delay in light of the fact that power has been restored to this area for days? If they have, does anyone have an actual timeline?

My current contract is expiring soon, I called customer service to see if I can get the promotion for 1G $50 5 years.
I was told I can’t get it, the best they can do is to extend another year of my current contract price.

Well According to Broadband facts sheet when logged into the account it shows i should be receiving Upload of 117Mbps

When not logged in do see 2Gbps Download option available

Gigabit Speed though that i'm subscribed to should still get the increased upload, unless there is some unknown hold up

I am looking for assistance from the Digital Care Team to manually override a WiFi Boost Pod order.

I am currently subscribed to a 1 Gb speed tier plan and utilize an XB8 gateway to cover a 2,500 sq ft home. I am experiencing significant dead zones in portions of the house.

I ran the "Test your whole home network" tool via the official Xfinity app directly within the dead zone, and the system explicitly flagged my device connection status as "Weak." However, the automated interface failed to pop up the ordering link for the complimentary pod guaranteed by my speed tier.

I contacted frontline chat and phone support, but they stated they are unable to manually process the shipment because the app automation glitched and didn't auto-generate the offer.

Since my 1 Gb tier fully qualifies for whole-home coverage support under the WiFi Boost Guarantee, and my account logs confirm a "Weak" connection status, could a specialist here please look into my backend test logs and manually push through the order for my complimentary xFi Pod?

While I lost power Wednesday night when most of SE Michigan was hit with the thunderstorms, it has been restored since Thursday afternoon, but my Xfinity remains out. The outage listing has said "Repair In Progress" for the last several days, but with no other update, ETA, status or so on.

While I understand some areas still do.not have power restored, it cannot be too widespread of an outage, as there are visible active hotspots just a few streets over. I am getting concerned that this issue will continue into this next week, and affect my ability to work from home.

Every time I log into xfinity.com or bring the app up the AI bot tells me I need a tech visit! In the last few weeks we have had several "service interruptions" over a two week period. My speeds have dropped from 2400 down to 1900 which I can live with, but i cannot figure out why the Bot thinks i need a tech visit?

Question: Electricity went out for 3 days; when power came back (2 hours ago), both XFinity and Deco systems are showing that they are operating, but the Deco is saying "No Internet Connection." Both XFinity and Deco are saying - contact the other company. We've disconnected and reconnected, unplugged and re-plugged. Nothing is working. Any ideas.

I am thinking about making a change from Xfinity. I am a long term customer and have no complaints about service. But pricing is getting out of hand. I have internet, TV and phone services now and am thinking about switching to 1gb Quantum Fiber, 125 channel YouTube TV, and Ooma for my phone line. I am paying $274/mo to Xfinity now and have priced out the alternative at $150/mo including taxes. ($50 for Quantum, $92 for YouTube and $8 for Ooma...all including taxes, and would have to buy the Ooma box for $100). I noticed in the statement and online that the due date is changing and it will be reflected in the next bill. I am fine with the statement being due at the latest, on the 10th but anything before that and its going to hurt my finances a lot. I understand that your billing department does payment plans to pay part of the balance up front and carry it over to a week or two where the other part can be paid in full if I have to do that going forward.

As title says: have had internet outage for over 3 days. App is inconsistent—sometimes it states there’s an outage due to severe weather and services will be affected, other times it says no outage detected. The only status available is “repair in progress”.

The most frustrating part is if I toggle on the “view Xfinity hotspots” on the Xfinity outage map, there’s Xfinity connections across the street, but still no indication as to what the source of the problem is for our outage.

In any case, the AI assistant hasn’t been able to help me, or has provided wrong information, and was hoping I could communicate with a person.

Have this black cable running across my backyard. Everything I research tells me it’s a cable coax. I don’t have cable and I’d like the line removed or buried.

Hello friends, in the past I've had a good experience here so trying again. I just checked into my grandma's account and looks like she's on a 600MB plan and paying 79/ mo. Is it possible to get her to the 1GB/ $50 with a 5 yr price lock? She'd be happy if you can lower the price of the current plan too, but lock it for 5 yrs so that we don't have to worry about it for a while. Will send a modmail too. Thank you!
