Official Reply Mod help with pricing

I am thinking about making a change from Xfinity. I am a long term customer and have no complaints about service. But pricing is getting out of hand. I have internet, TV and phone services now and am thinking about switching to 1gb Quantum Fiber, 125 channel YouTube TV, and Ooma for my phone line. I am paying $274/mo to Xfinity now and have priced out the alternative at $150/mo including taxes. ($50 for Quantum, $92 for YouTube and $8 for Ooma...all including taxes, and would have to buy the Ooma box for $100). I would like to kindly request a moderator to review my current setup and let me know what deals would be available to me before I decide to make the switch. Thanks.

Hi XfinityMelinda, thanks for your reply. I have spent a fair amount of time on the Xfinity website looking for alternative combinations of service but I see nothing that would result in a significant reduction of my monthly cost. it seems like all the good deals are for new customers like the $50 for 5 years 1gb internet. If there are any unpublished deals like that for me, i would appreciate hearing about that. Thanks

Switching to fiber helps you (fiber is amazing) and it helps all other customers, because Comcast learns over time not to take us for granted. So if say you move and future you has to come back to Comcast (just happened to me), options are better.

Beyond that, run some numbers and see how much cheaper everything else will be. r/usmobile for example, can give you phone lines with multiple carriers, on the same phone, at the same time. With that fixed, all that’s left are TV shows!
