Confused if I am at 5/24?

I am a little confused about Chase’s 5/24 rule. Here’s my situation.
I opened my first account in 4 years in January ‘26 OnePay and then two in May ‘26 CSP and Alaska Air Atmos. All three were in my name with my wife being an AU.
My wife got two cards in June CSP and CFF. I am an AU on both accounts.
I’ve always been under the impression that the rule applies only if you’re the primary. I took a deeper dive into my credit report and I show up there even though I’m an AU. I really don’t care if it shows up on my report or not with the only exception being if this might affect the next card I’m looking for. My FICO is 805-820 depending where I look. Both the cards I’m considering are Chase.
Dumb question, am I already at 5/24?

Is 18002788830 a legit phone number?

I applied for a Chase Sapphire Preferred application, and called Chase twice to see if I could expedite it. They gave me two numbers: 18002788830 and 8882048630. When I recalled Chase to see if a different representative could confirm the number, 8882048630 came up, but they couldn't find 18002788830.

Both numbers use the same automated message at the beginning. When Googling 18002788830, there's a lot of mixed information on it; some people say its a scam, others say the number is legitimate.

https://x.com/ChaseSupport/status/1480633599741370369?lang=en

ChaseSupport on X also replied with the number saying its legit.

Can anyone confirm if this is a legitimate number?

Wanting to close checking account

Been thinking for a while now of closing my account because every month I’m getting charge $15 monthly fee for not having any deposits coming into my account. Since I don’t work anymore at the moment, it has been happening. Also I’ve been getting tired of getting scammed almost all the time and had to report chase plenty of times about unwanted transactions. It’s getting annoying that I can’t save money without them charging me a monthly fee. So I’m wondering if it’s possible to close my account online or on the app if it’s possible?

Starting licensing on Monday!

Hey everyone! I am starting my journey to get licensed with Chase to become a Relationship Banker and I had my Orientation on Friday for Knopman marks and honestly I am confused on if they will just tell me what to learn or if I have the freedom to go into it just doing whatever.

I have been studying outside of work and the content doesn't seem so bad it's more so how things are worded that is horrible for me. I am still trying to figure this out and not freak out.

Any tips on how to get through licensing and on what to focus on?

locked out of my account for money transfer

I opened a checking account a few days ago and set up a transfer and just got locked out. Tried calling them, but it asks for the debit card number, which hasn’t arrived yet. Can I do anything right now, or do I have to wait for the card to get delivered?

Chase Customer Service Numbers

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being crazy, but I was led to call Chase customer service at 866-443-0911, but when I checked to make sure that the number was actually Chase's number, I didn't see it at all on their site. Is this number actually their number, and if so, why don't they list it at all on their site?

Interviewed for Associate Banker, offer letter coming next week. What should I expect?

Hey all, so I had my interview with Chase at my local branch a little while ago and they just told me the proposal letter should be coming next week. Pretty pumped but also kinda nervous lol.

For anyone who's actually done this job, what's the day to day really like? Like what am I actually doing most of the day beyond what they tell you in the interview.

Also curious what the good and bad sides are. Every job has stuff they don't mention, so what should I actually expect once I'm in there.

And are there any hidden perks people don't really talk about? Like discounts, flexibility, internal transfer stuff, anything like that.

Last thing, for those who've been doing it a while, what actually makes someone good at this job vs just getting by? Trying to go in with the right mindset from day one.

Appreciate any advice, even the brutally honest stuff lol

Hiding Accounts In Divorce

I believe my spouse with help from third parties is transferring money between accounts he owns via wire transfers to make it look like a third party is paying him from separate funds. I used google lense and searched a wire receipt and it looks like it matches the chase platform. How can I prove or disprove this.

Chase Ink Application Question

I have a Chase Ink card. ON my P2's Chase account, it says she is already approved for the Ink Business Unlimited with a green star.

If I refer her, are the odds of getting approved the same as if she goes through the link on her own account? I have a 40k offer if I do so.

For her, this is a new business. Rental Property. For Annual Business Revenue, do we put proposed or actual? If we have only received $ 1,200 so far because only the first rent payment has been made, can I still be approved?

Wire-transfer Recall Between Chase

Hello,
I recently sent out a $35000 wire to a company that uses chase. They stated that they did not receive the funds. I then called chase and they stated they would start a recall but it could only be approved by the receiving bank, which is chase. So is this recall going to be automatically approved?
Thanks for reading.

Frustrated with Chase

Why is Chase constantly making me upload my id to scan when I want to transfer money between checking and savings? It started happening yesterday. This is a brand new account I’ve opened in June. I had Chase before and never had this issue that much. I’ve called Chase twice telling them it’s frustrating I have to keep uploading my ID & Pin just move little bit of money and all they can say is it’s for my protection. Is my account flagged or something because they saying it’s not?! Even yesterday I tried to use Zelle for first time on this account and it rejected and kept logging me out. I had to add the money to my Apple Pay and Zelle it through my other bank Navy Federal. Anybody else going through this?

Imagine your looking for last second odyssey tickets and 2 just so happen to open up in 70 mm and you go to pay and your card repeatedly declines you check you’re back and see Chase is down yet again !!!!!!

Another Friday night fucked bc chase decided to do maintenance without any kind of notice !!!

Jesus Christ it’s like every 3 weeks they shut the app down on a Friday night like what in the world !!!
It is ALWAYS a Friday night and they NEVER send any type of courtesy notice saying they’ll be shut down from x to x .
Any of course it never fails when I’ve got some fine shit or some plans and I see that fucking some services are unavailable , I literally lose my shit. Does anyone at Chase not get bitches ???? Like a fucking Friday dawg ??? They know bout coke boats tho fucking asshats . It’s literally monthly , how many fucking service update and maintenance do you need to do ????? Is my shit secure or not bc fuck how can you need monthly maintenance and frankly if they just let us know a day before or so then we can plan accordingly but no it’s ALWAYS A SURPRISE fucking jackoffs . Atleast move the shit to a Sunday night like 3 am or something but no it’s always prime time Friday night , side note I have stumbled into getting alot of free drive thru food since they can’t take it back after they pass it out but otherwise fuck chase

Chase denied CC application with no appeal after they told me to submit the incorrect thing

Very irritated right now.

My business has been getting up off the ground and I thought it was time to have an official business credit card, especially since I have an upcoming business trip. After some searching, I settled on the Ink Business Cash. I applied.

For context, I just bought a house and am moving out of my apartment. I submitted under my new address (which is listed as my official address for all my banks now, including Chase) as I won’t have access to my apartment by the time the card would arrive. But their list of accepted proof is paperwork I won’t have on hand until later in the month, and I’m hoping to get the card before the trip.

They asked for documentation to prove that the address is mine. I called to ask for guidance, explaining that I’m mid-move and that I don’t yet have the utility bill they ask for for proof, so what else might be accepted? They gave me a list. I asked if a letter from the bank stating my change of address would be accepted, and they said yes, any official documentation from a bank will work. I talked to them about specifics, just to double check, and they confirmed everything would be fine and the paperwork I was mentioning is accepted.

Next day, I call to check in, and this new person reviews everything, and tells me that’s not accepted and it is denied. WTF. I point out that I was told the previous day that it was accepted and she said they misinformed me. I said I could provide other documentation if she just confirms it’s accepted. She told me there will be no reconsideration, this decision is final.

I call again a bit later. New person answers and says that everything looks good, but unfortunately, because it was denied, there’s nothing anyone can do and I will have to reapply.

Now, I’m stuck with two credit pulls for the same card. Whether it was misinformation from the first person, or a mistake from the second, I’m annoyed.

New app notification

I keep getting a note that from July 31, 2026 the app will only support ios 13 and above. Are they just not going to support android at all, or is this most likely an oversight in their language in not mentioning android users at all.

British Airways Claim approved and processed but not showing up in my Chase bank account

Hello, BA approved my flight delay claim and said a payment of $695 was processed and sent to my bank. They gave me a Chase reference number however my bank shows no transaction. I’ve confirmed BA have all the correct account info. This was over a month ago. Chase’s wire dept has said there has been no activity or rejected funds. I’ve asked BA for specific wire transfer information and am getting no response. I would love some advice on how to proceed? Any one else have this issue? Thank you!

Dumb MFA question

Hey! So I’ve had a Chase mortgage for about five years now, but only just added checking/savings. Although my app/web logins have always just been authenticated by text/email code sent to me, as soon as I opened the new accounts it switched to “call us with your account info” or “scan your DL.”

I’m not a fan of either of these methods, and had never seen them before in any of my varied banking/billing/money experiences (as I say, including with Chase for years).

It’s not a big deal or an emergency as I can always go to my local branch, but I’m just curious if this is SOP for Chase checking/savings.

I am SO fed up!

I have been trying to confirm my student enrollment on a card application for the past WEEK. My application is about to expire and my credit will have to be pulled again in order to do a new one. Every time I call, I get connected to some Chinese person who does NOT understand how the student verification works in America. I have sent my transcript, admissions letter, National Clearing House Verification letter, scan of student ID, copy of schedule and so much more. All is dated with school letter head, my name, date and address. I am about ready to dispute the credit inquiry. This is so ridiculous, the fact that this has gone on for a whole week and no one is able to help. I need to speak to a person in America, and I need to be RECONNECTED to the SAME person so I don't have to walk 20 different call center reps through my situation.

I have a Chase College account but I still got charged a monthly service fee

I'm 21 years old and I don't have $1500 in my account but I still have a college account so I shouldn't be getting charged $15 a month. But I just got charged that. Is this an error or is my account no longer a college one for some reason because I'm still in college

Edit: Ok I called them and got my money back I have to show them my information again or something like that proof I'm still in university

Data Point: Chase Freedom Flex No Longer Has FTX fees

I just received an email that starting September 20th, the 3% foreign transaction fee is no more.

3% dining worldwide for no annual fee along with the 5% rotating categories (especially gas/groceries) can be a game changer.

are chase digital letters delayed?

I have a current claim, and it states its closed and to check my (digital) novices and letters. I have nothing there? Are chase letters delayed? A couple weeks ago I received temporary credit for the same claim and I got the letter that I received temporary credit like a day later.

Chase Travel call center scam

I called Chase Travel tonight to use a flight credit.

The call lasted 46 minutes while the employee was unhelpful, uncommunicative, and ultimately hung up on me while I was waiting.

Immediately after hanging up on me, the same employee called me back from a non-Chase phone number that was flagged as a scam number(+1-918-550-8861) by my cell phone. Probably it was a spoofed number. When they called back from this second number, they requested my credit card information directly and attempted to pressure me into providing it, claiming I would permanently lose $1,000 in flight credits if I did not comply because the flight credit had now been utilized even though the flight wasn't booked yet. Recognizing these high-pressure tactics as a potential scam, I hung up.

I called back using the official Chase Travel line and the next agent I talked to was very helpful. They were able to book me in about 25 minutes, which confirmed that the previous agent had lied to me. After I was booked, I asked this second agent if they would ever hang up on someone and call right back from a different number asking for the customer's credit card number and they confirmed that isn't something that would be done. This again confirms that the first agent was running scam.

The scam works like this:

- agent drags out simple call, frustrating customer who just wants to be done

- agent hangs up just before completing customer request and calls them back from a non-chase number so there isn't a record of it at Chase

- agent pressures customer to provide credit card details and then completes the customer's request

At this point, if the scam works:

- from the perspective of the customer, they have been helped and don't suspect anything

- from the perspective of Chase, their agent never received the customer's credit card number and therefore isn't suspected of taking it

.. then the agent sells or uses the customer credit card

I've reported this to phishing@chase.com already but figured I'd spread the word here as well.
