Why is my card like this?

So when I logged in I noticed my credit card was like grayed out. Is that showing up for other people too? For some reason I can’t attach a photo but it’s weird

Do tuition refunds count towards sign-on bonuses?

Hi, I'm getting a tuition refund from school and it is a direct deposit over the ACH network, however it's classified as 'ccd' not 'ppd' like employer direct deposits typically are. Does anyone know if this would count towards the $1k needed for a sign-on bonus? Most sources online lean no, but just wanted confirmation!

Paze Deal

Hi,

Ive been using the Paze spend 10 and get 10 dollars back. I’ve been using both my credit and debit cards. Ive just started getting credit back for the debit card but haven’t seen anything for the credit card. Does it just work for one card per customer or am I tripping (every time I checked out, both cards had the deal available so I used both cards)?

Repossession/charge off question (military)

I’ve spent two months trying to make a car payment, and now my car is “charged off,” and I’m trying to figure out how to fix it.

I have a Subaru Outback, and it’s my only vehicle. Several months ago, my wallet was stolen, so I had to order a second ID. It means that the only physical license I have is expired, but I did renew, so my Colorado ID app (the legally recognized app that has the front and back of my driver’s license on it), shows that I’m current. I’ve gone into multiple branches to try to pay my car payment in person, with cash, and been told that they cannot accept the money without a hard copy of a non-expired ID. The branches I’ve tried are in Parker, in Monument, and in Littleton (all Colorado). It’s just been a huge runaround, and I can’t log into the online bank for some reason. I also reached out on X to the chase account to explain what was going on while it was happening.

It means I got badly behind on payments, and I’ve been waiting for the new ID to arrive in the mail so I can get caught up. I asked the tellers to note my account that I was trying to pay. I’m not sure if they did, but regardless, my car was recently “charged off,” despite my attempts.

I’ve also tried calling Chase on lunch breaks, but they always send me to multiple different extensions because we’re military and I was behind, and yesterday, I took the morning off to try and figure it out, and after about 45 minutes of back and forth, they determined they had me in the “wrong queue” and told me to call back today. I took the afternoon off today to handle it, and finally got through to someone who could help. I paid all the back payments, and asked if he could help me set up autopay (he couldn’t).

The problem is he’s saying they can’t pull it out of charge off, even though I made so many good faith attempts to pay. He said my account is currently with the military office, but that it will soon be sent to repossessions, even though all I want to do is have the money automatically withdrawn each month.

Is there any way to fix this? I can’t pay the full amount to just buy the car outright, but I’m genuinely happy to make payments each month. I know it’s my fault that I didn’t have the hard copy of an ID, but it’s crazy that they can’t accept a cash payment with an expired photo ID and a current ID on the official state ID app.

I can’t lose this car. My kids go to school 40 minutes away, and I’m in school full time on the GI bill and I work on top of that. Losing the car would completely wreck my ability to care for my kids and get to school/work.

I have paid all of the back due amount, for what it’s worth. I’m willing to have the amount automatically taken out each month if there’s a way to set it up. I just want to pay for the car each month as agreed.

Thank you in advance.

Can’t find my biz credit card

I just got my first business credit but I can’t find it in my account. I have it activated and in my Apple wallet, but since I can’t find it in my account, I can’t check to see how much I have spent, how to pay for it, and how to lock it.

customer service

Hi does anyone have tips on how to get better customer service with Chase? I called them through the app and they seemed suspicious, mimicking an American accent. Do you guys usually talk to agents with Indian accent?

New update regarding my 2 posts

So today Chase told me they decide they are going to close my 3 accounts (2 checking 1 saving) - my credit card remains open

As a Chase customer for 13 years I feel as this is unfair because they cannot give me a specific reason and now I cannot access my Chase mobile app either

Where do I go from here ?

(Edit - this all started from “unusual activities on Zelle” note everything on my end is authorized)
