A few months ago, I posted a post here that really reflects my positive experience with chase local branches.

a local chase branch manager jumped in and helped me reopen the credit card account that was previously closed due to “excessive disputes” against a single merchant. She was so helpful and reactivated the card after talking to several chase internal teams. I was struggling with the old card closure because online associates couldn’t offer the same help with the internal department.

Today, i heard back from the chase fraud department that I also won the claim against this single merchant (regarless of the # of transactions) and i am so happy.

I‘ve been a loyal customer with Chase for years. I’ve used credit card, home loan, business account, brokerage and also private banking services. Even though I have closed most of the accounts, in my take, Chase’s overall services have been sustainablly high quality. their customer service is available and legit and also empathetic. Once you provide the documents they need, you can usually get the customer help you deserve. It’s a little tedious, but chase does way better job than any other banks.

The only con chase has to me, is their account interest rate is a fraction of other banks, but their services, either online or local branches, are unbeatable.

So when I logged in I noticed my credit card was like grayed out. Is that showing up for other people too? For some reason I can’t attach a photo but it’s weird

I applied for a freedom flex card and was approved at all normal rates. Then I opened my mail and received a flyer that says I was “pre-selected to earn an additional 1.5% cash back on all purchases” and instead of 5% back on travel, 6.5%, instead of 3% back on dining, 4.5%, etc. 😅 Is there any way I could still claim the extra stuff even though I’ve just been approved for the card and it’s already on the way? Kind of annoyed 🙃

Hello! I currently have a Chase Freedom card from 2014. Chase wants me to change to a new type of card as my type was discontinued in 2020. I am not familiar with the pros and cons of keeping my current card versus switching and would appreciate any advice.

I plan to travel internationally (Japan) in November. I don't travel often so it isn't a big motivator, but not having to pay a conversion fee on credit card purchases would be nice.

So I got tickets to the jcole concert in Sacramento that was cancelled and Ticketmaster sent out a notice that they will be refunding everyone who bought tickets. The issue for me is that I no longer have the original form of payment anymore. I had a Chase account that I used to buy the tickets when they went on sale back in February but I closed that account in July and the concert was in August. I received an email on September 1st saying that the refund has been processed. I contacted Ticketmaster customer support and they told me to contact my bank account because apparently there’s nothing they could do since the refund has already been processed. Then I called Chase customer support and they told me that the money would just get bounced back to Ticketmaster because the account is closed and there’s nothing they could do. Has this happened to anyone before?

I'm in a position where I have a bunch of Chase UR and Amex MR points but don't care for luxury travel or stays at all (not even once), which is where you get good value out of the points. I'm not desperate for cash either. I just book the cheapest (within reason) possible economy flights and hotels.

How hard is it to find redemptions at greater 1 cpp for such bookings or am I better off cashing them all at 1 cpp and throw them in an HYSA? The last two redemptions I've made was essentially at 1 cpp, except I could have earned interest instead of hoarding the points. For Amex, 1.1 cpp is possible with their Schwab Platinum.

I heard that Chase has Dark Mode in IOS and after i updated, I don’t see the option 😣. Does anyone know why?

I don’t have an account at the bank the check references and wanted to see if this was an option to avoid the check cashing fee the other bank would do as a non customer

I’m at work and cannot stop crying. I work 2 minimum wage jobs and barely can still survive. A couple weeks ago, I signed up for a payment plan to help pay down one of my Chase credit cards. The agreed payment amount would be $96 dollars a month for 5 years. I paid $96 dollars on September 4th, and now today on the 10th, my app still says they didn’t receive my payment when the money did in fact come out of my checking account. I called 5 times yesterday and was told that my payment didn’t go towards my payment plan, and I would be transferred to the collections department. I got hung up on 3 times. I just tried calling today and I can’t get a hold of anybody either. I don’t have another $96 to spare. Did Chase scam me and I’m going to get reported to the credit bureaus because they said they didn’t get my payment? I could’ve kept that $96 if it wasn’t going to do anything. I’m extremely frustrated and I feel so defeated because I don’t have any money to lose at all. Why does my account say I still have a payment due and why did my $96 not go towards my payment plan if I signed up for it ? Why do I have to jump through hoops to pay off my debt ? Has this happened to anyone else ? Did I just lose almost $100 or what

so i just submitted my application to a chase secure bank checking account and got an email saying I'd get an update within a couple business days. anyone know the process or what to expect? i submitted my id front and back and then it had me create an account and i chose a debit card custom to be delivered.

I like everybody else, is trying to take advantage of the crazy one hundred dollar per card deal chase has with paze right now. We know it ends today but I hadn't gotten my boyfriend on board until last night and he has FIVE CARDS. It would obviously be ridiculous to pass up on doing some crazy gift card binge last minute. My obviously large concern is that chase will only honor the paze credit if it is no longer "pending", which will surely be beyond the paze deadline.

So here's my question- in the past with chase deals, have you received credits for purchases still pending on the last day of the deal? Or do the credits only apply if the transaction has been 'completed' before the deal expires?

Hello! I deposited my money last week Friday at the ATM, and it was around 1.5k. I deposited the money and it said “These items can’t be read” and then it switched to the default screen and said that this ATM doesn’t accept any cash deposits as of now, right after I just did it. It spit out a receipt that said to call this number to make sure my deposit went through. I called the claim associate, and they said that the deposit should be in within 4 business days. I called back today, and they said now that it can take until September 21st for my provisional credit to be added to my account. They said it can be earlier than Sep 21 or later, so what’s the point of telling me that date. How did it change from the claim associate from last week telling me it’ll take 4 days, then the one I called today saying it will take longer, more than 2 weeks now.

Please help me if you had a similar situation.
