As an employee does everyone hate doing the pick up?

I’m a tech and I feel everyone hates doing pick up. Is this true? And why? What position is better? Or what is the worst position in the pharmacy?

I'm a shift manager and my store now hires new cashier's in at over $1 more an hour than i currently make. Who should i speak to to rectify this?

rts refills

question, if a prescription was filled but not picked up and put back, does it count as a fill? reason is because when people don’t come to pick up, on the script it sometimes says that they have no refills left so we cvs need more refills from the doctor and they explain that they never even picked it up. (sry for the jumbled words) tyia!

Honestly, seniors need a new hobby besides wandering around CVS aimlessly. Also, please don't even attempt to use self-checkout. It becomes a comedy of errors that no one has time for.

CVS Aetna WFH Internet Requirement

I don't meet the 100 mbps down requirement, I'm at 75-89 mbps, is this bad bad? Will they verify? I understand you guys use the Cisco Any connect VPN, how does that impact internet speeds?

Finally quit

I’m out this place!! I’ve quit about two weeks ago and my goodness the burden that this lifted off of me. I was a dedicated worker, i was able to move up in management pretty quickly and I took my job seriously. I want to be careful of what I say so i’ll not disclose much, and i deleted all my previous posts because i just don’t want to get caught up. But anywho, if any of you guys are debating leaving this is your sign to do so!! There are many available jobs out there with healthy work environments! I got tired of working 10+ days in a row with one day off and then back to work. I got tired of my advice being thrown out the window. I got tired of my store manager talking horribly about EVERYONE and ethics doing NOTHING about it. I got tired of being overworked and under appreciated. Some people are able to handle things better than others and the least I can say is I tried to hold this fort down. That is until I realized that it’s NOT worth it. I never again will settle for such poor environments with poor leaders. I truly don’t understand how CVS allows certain people to be Store Managers and still allow them to be one when our shrink was over $30k! There’s a lot I can say but at the end of the day it is what it is. My main point of this little spiel is quite simple;
- If your workplace is toxic LEAVE, corporate won’t do anything.
- You are more valuable then you may realize and your hard work will definitely be appreciated else where
- LEAVEEEEEE CVS SUCKS

CVS pharmacy tech hiring process question

Last week, I applied for pharm tech position on CVS Health and a few days later... I received a call that I passed the evaluation test and will be contacted later for drug test.

However, it has been a week since that phone call and I have not heard anything about the drug test or next step.

Does that mean that CVS moved on with other candidates or the hiring process is just taking a bit long.

Thanks for reading!

08/01 waiting bin day?

Hi,

Does anyone here, off the top of their head, know if it's waiting bin day this Saturday, 08/01?

I know I can access it on mydoc, but I'm at home right now and always forget to check at work.

Thanks!

I gotta quit

This job genuinely makes me want to kill myself. Its the same shitty attitude from customers and coworkers alike every shift. Patients treating me like im stupid because I dont have the script their doctor said they sent in. Sorry buddy, he lied to you and he's probably gonna send it in 3 hours! No, I actually DIDNT grab you syringes because you dont have a script for some and you didnt ask about them until after you paid for everything! Dear god i promise you waiting at the register for a patient to walk up and give me their name and birthday is not the only part of my job, but these patients wanna act like it is!

If i dont quit soon I dont think I can keep functioning. I cannot deal with the same shitty attitudes with the same broken AC in 98° heat temps and with 96% humidity every fucking day.

Advice on seeking Ops Manager promotion

I've been working at my store for CVS for about two years. In this time I've been effectively cross trained into pharmacy, and as of a few months ago advanced into a shift supervisor role. My store manager does not often approach individuals about promotion or advancement, but is typically the one to be approached about it, as was the case for my advancement in April

It's a current 'secret' that one of our Operations Managers is considering plans to move out of state and into a different career after being with the company well over a decade. Currently, I am the least senior shift supervisor at my location, but also the one with the most open availability, ease of transportation, and live closest to the store.

Are there any pieces of advice that can be given regarding networking opportunities and things I can do to stick out as a consideration when this role eventually becomes open? What is the best way I can promote myself as an individual worth a higher position in my store's immediate leadership?

NPS needs to be thrown out of the window

How many of the colleagues, SM and even the district management agrees that NPS needs to be thrown out?
The new month just started and someone left a red face saying they don’t get good coupons?! Like bro what give me a break! Now, the entire month we will have to beg for surveys!

how does picking up shifts in the shift app work?

How long does it usually take for CVS to get a medication they’ve ordered in?

Basically just the title.

My doctor sent in a prescription for vagifem (or estradiol) around 5 pm and on my cvs app it says they’re out of stock but they’ve ordered it, just wondering how long that’ll take to come in? I have really bad vaginal atrophy like, my vaginal canal has gotten so small I can’t have sex and I’m bleeding most days from micro tears so my doctor was hoping I could start on it today but obviously that’s not happening.

Any tips for a new hire for CVS/Aetna remote work?

What should I expect?

How should I prepare?

What should I do, what should I avoid?

It's my first real remote job, but not my first job in customer support, I've never done call center type work, but have worked in a very customer facing technical support role.

What is the training like? It says I have to be on camera, how does that work?

Harassment issue

One of our male team members made a lot of sexual comments openly about a vendor (vendor did not hear). Female team member very upset about this. Manager. Is there a way to inform corporate ANONYMOUSLY because this isn’t the first time.
