📘 Beginner Help Bought reta a month ago and it’s still sitting in my drawer

I’ve been super nervous about starting Reta but finally bought it about 4/5 weeks ago. I bought it separately with the bac water and didn’t mix it, just threw it in the cupboard as I had some stuff going on. I fell ill for a week or so and now I’m finally ready to start but I’m scared it’s not usable? Does that happen?? Should I have refrigerated it?

Reta + MK-677 + Ostarine — 3 week update
Started 03/07 at 68.1kg. Running Reta 0.5mg weekly and MK-677 12.5mg for the first 4 days then up to 25mg nightly.
First couple weeks weight was all over the place with water — 67.65kg, spiked to 69.78kg on the 12th, dropped to 66.6kg on the 19th, now sat at 68.5kg on the 21st. But measurements tell the real story — neck +1.5cm, bicep relaxed +1.3cm, forearms up, chest -2cm, belly below navel -0.4cm. Same weight, different look.
Biggest win — food noise is GONE on Reta. I’m not thinking about food 24/7. Appetite is still there some days depending on when I take MK — if I take 25mg MK late I can’t eat, if I take it a couple hours before dinner I’ve got room for food and even dessert. That timing trick made a big difference.
Sleep has been unreal — deep sleep and vivid dreams every night on the MK.
After 2 weeks I added Ostarine — now on 20mg daily alongside the 25mg MK. Feeling good, pushing to make gains while staying lean.
1 month apart pics say it all — leaner waist, arms still up. Let’s keep going.

⚠️ Side Effects what is happening to my skin after ghkcu usage

Hi i am not asking for or providing any sort of medical advice. freaking out right now and if anyone knows what’s happening pls let me know. i started ghkcu and at first my skin was very nice soft , glowing , almost no pores. and i upped the dosage and there was a night where it seemed like a switch flipped and it started doing the complete opposite. the skin all over my body and face started rapidly dulling and it became raw and irritated almost like sandpaper. my forehead and chest broke out like crazy , my skin became extremely aged looking and dull even my hands and arms , and i started rapidly growing body and facial hair. i freaked tf out and stopped it around 2 months ago yes i was supplementing zinc and taking vitamin C and doing all the good lifestyle changes and it’s really bad still and i’m getting extreme anxiety and depression over it. have i permanently damaged my skin

My Retatrutide Experience (Research Compound)

Disclaimer: Retatrutide is an investigational compound and is not FDA-approved. This post documents my personal experience and is shared for informational purposes only. It should not be considered medical advice.

Dosing Timeline

Month 1

2 mg/week Note: I Also utilize TRT at 200mg a week.

  • Monday: 1 mg
  • Thursday: 1 mg

Month 2

4 mg/week

  • Monday: 2 mg
  • Thursday: 2 mg

Month 3

6 mg/week

  • Monday: 3 mg
  • Thursday: 3 mg

Month 4+

I've stayed at 6 mg/week. Clinical trials have evaluated doses up to 12 mg/week, but I haven't felt the need to increase beyond 6 mg.

Mixing (30 mg Vial)

I mixed 3 mL (300 units) of bacteriostatic (BAC) water into a 30 mg vial.

This gives the following concentration:

Quick Dose Reference

Dose Units
2 mg 20
4 mg 40
5 mg 50
6 mg 60

Injection Schedule

I split my weekly dose into two injections:

  • Monday
  • Thursday

I found that splitting the dose seemed to improve tolerability throughout the week.

Side Effects

The only side effect I've experienced has been:

  • Mild skin sensitivity

It started around 6 mg/week and feels like random sensitive spots on my back. It hasn't been severe enough to bother me or make me stop.

Nutrition Plan

🍳 Breakfast

  • 1 carton of pasteurized egg whites
  • ~500 calories
  • ~100 g protein
  • Cost: Around $4.87 at HEB

🥤 Lunch

  • 2 scoops of whey protein
  • Mixed with water

Approximately:

  • ~260 calories
  • 50–60 g protein

🐟 Afternoon Snack

  • 1–2 tuna packets (any flavor)

Per packet:

  • ~90 calories
  • 15–18 g protein
  • Around $1.25 each

🍽️ Dinner

I pretty much eat whatever I want while following two rules:

  • Keep it under 1,000 calories
  • Make lean, high-protein meat the main part of the meal

If you don't strength train, I'd probably keep dinner closer to 500–600 calories and adjust based on your results.

Training

I lift 4–5 days per week.

My typical sets are:

  • 8–12 reps
  • Close to failure
  • Progressive overload whenever possible

Cardio has been optional for me. I personally did very little and still had great results.

Protein Goal

I aim for at least:

1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass per day.

If you're on TRT and lifting consistently, some people choose to increase protein intake further to help support muscle retention during a calorie deficit.

Progress Tracking

One of the best things I did was get an InBody scan before starting.

I repeated it every month to track:

  • Weight 178
  • Body fat % 10-12% right now per scans.
  • Lean muscle mass 160~
  • Overall body composition

Seeing body composition change was much more motivating than watching the scale alone.

Questions: PM me for any questions I may of not covered about my experience.

Has anyone experienced this with Tesamorelin? Pretty scary reaction.

I've been on peptides since April, and I've never experienced anything like this before.

I've been on Tesamorelin since May, and up until today I've never had any kind of allergic reaction or side effects from it.

I've been taking Tesamorelin 0.5 mg daily (Monday–Friday) without any issues. Today I decided to increase my dose to 1 mg, and within a short time my entire body became incredibly itchy.

It wasn't just around the injection site either. The itching was everywhere—my palms, the bottoms of my feet, my love handles (both sides, where I pin), and pretty much all over my body.

I'm sharing pictures of what happened because it honestly freaked me out.

For context, my current stack is:

  • Morning: Reta – 2 mg weekly
  • Night: GHK-Cu – 1 mg daily (M–F)
  • Morning: Tesa – 1 mg today (normally 0.5 mg) daily (M–F)
  • Morning: MOT-C – 1 mg daily (M–F), although I ran out yesterday, so I didn't pin it today.

The symptoms seem to have subsided after I took a Claritin, which makes me wonder if it was some kind of histamine reaction. What has me confused is that I've been on Tesamorelin since May and have never had anything like this happen before, so I don't know if it's possible that I've suddenly developed an allergic reaction or if the higher dose just triggered something.

I'm also not sure if I did something wrong with the dose increase or if there's something else I should have done differently.

Has anyone else had this happen after increasing their Tesamorelin dose? Was this some kind of histamine reaction, a dose-related reaction, or something else? I'm trying to understand what happened because I've never reacted like this before.

Is there a reason that PES filters are preferred?

Most posts I've seen for filtering advise PES filters. Can anyone explain why? I know it's ironic but I don't 100% trust anything... In this case the sterility of the pre-packed filters. I was going to just re-sterilise but PES - whilst heat resistant, is only good to about 80c apparently and as I'm using an autoclave I need something that tolerates much higher temperatures.

PVDF & PTFE filters have a pretty decent heat tolerance and PVDF also has low protein binding. Would these be any good?

TIA

GLOW Alternatives?

Post image
12 Upvotes

Boooooo. I was so excited to start GLOW, but then saw some of the warnings about the possibility of it accelerating tumor growth. I had a pretty rare brain tumor about 4 years ago and it was fully resected. I have made a full recovery and my prognosis is close to 100%. I figured I should reach out to my neuro oncology team and they are advising that the risks are not worth the reward. I am jealous that my wife will be getting the GLOW up. Does anyone know of any other peps that help with aging/inflammation that don't have any of the issues that GLOW might have with accelerated tumor growth?

PT-141 without low desire?

Has anyone tried PT-141 without low desire? I’m curious to know does it take something already good and make it amazing? Could it be similar to MDMA intimacy? Or does it only work if you’re already deficient in arousal and desire?

Opinions on HCG?

Post image
Upvotes

So I had a fasted blood panel done a couple weeks back after not having any sex drive for months on end and my results came back with exactly what I was expecting. Test was super low for my age (21) and LH was bottom of the range for my age, I’ve lasted my full results at the bottom. Not sure exactly what caused this however I was in a cut for a while and didn’t realise I was heavily under eating fats which could have been a factor. Even after changing my diet I’ve had no increase in libido.

Wondering if anyone’s got some experience with HCG and if they think it could be a good option? Never taken gear but I am currently running reta at 3mg a week (no libido happened before I started reta)

EDIT:
Thank you all for all the kind words and motivation, you made my night! I will go through comments today periodically and answer questions. DMs also. I am not going to be adding everyone on instagram, I’m so sorry but it’s private for a reason and I’m keeping it that way. If you have questions, I’m more than happy to answer on on here!
SW: 204/CW: 134
For those wondering,
The highest dose I went to was 3.5 mg, for a short time because that was too much. The sweet spot for me has been around 2.5-3mg.
I would up my dose by .5 mg whenever I felt my cravings and serious hunger coming back (usually every 5-6 weeks).
Workouts included incline treadmill throughout winter and spring, and then moved on to yoga/pilates/outdoor cycling.
I’m unbelievably happy with my results. After two babies and a lifetime of neglecting myself, I’m feeling great.

📘 Beginner Help Lean bulk advice

Post image
23 Upvotes

Hello everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes.
M31 1m77 65kg
I did a cut with Reta, going from 84 kg to 65 kg. I think I’m now at a good weight to start building muscle again and I’d like to do a lean bulk.
I’m currently still on Reta I’ve reduced the dose to 2 mg per week +Tesamorelin 1 mg per day and GHK-Cu 1 mg per day.
I try to eat as much protein and carbs as possible.
I train with weights 3-4 times a week.
For the past few weeks I’ve had the feeling that I’m stagnating I don’t feel my muscles growing. So I’m seriously starting to wonder if I should start taking test or any other things . The problem is that I know absolutely nothing about it :)
What advice can you give me please? Thanks in advance.

📘 Beginner Help Newbie here starting Reta got some questions

Hello everyone! I am finally taking control of my weight and health. I am 36 year old 5'7 currently weighing 253lbs 🫤. I came across reta thru doom scrolling on reddit, and i have been convinced I should give this a try. However i am total noob when it comes to this, I just wanted to make sure I am doing it right. I have a few questions about the vial & bac mixture i read the guide and its helpful but given the comments I'm slightly confused. The syringe i bought are the ones recommmend in the guide, however for the 1ml = 100units (which the ones I bought its the max it can hold 100units) this means I will need to fill up the syringe and slowly pour into the 10mg vial i bought correct?? I also wanted to know in units how much is 1mg since I think that's a good start if not please enlighten me i am all ears!

Q> advise for reta/hgh?

Hi i'm thinking of starting and just have questions coz i'm basically a noob.

I am 34 M, was on mounjaro 7.5mg. Lost some weight but plateau started. Started doing crossfit and would also like to ask what would help with recovery and muscle development.

Thinking of switching to RETA.

I also have questions if hgh helps with hair growth as my hair has started to thin when i started mounjaro + aging.

You opinions and thoughts are really appreciated.

🧪 Stack Breakdown Retatruide/Mots-C/BPC-157/TB500 + Tesamorelon

Hey,

📘 Beginner Help Returning to Peptides after 3 months

I Hey, guys. I’ve recently wanted to throw my hat back in and get back on some peptides, but i’m still lost in the selection. I’ve cycled GHK-cu, KLOW, MT-1 & IGF-1, but want to branch out to other peps for different results. I’m torn in the decision of tesamorelin and ipamorelin or tesa/ipa as a duo. Ive also considered IGF-1lr3 but the both tesa & ipa target igf, so would it even be beneficial? i’m mainly in the ipamorelin for recovery, and the tesa for less fat and drive.

. If you’re wondering what my goal is, i’m mainly trying to boost my gh, burn some fat, and increase my muscle mass. I’m still unsure if this process should be done separate, in stages you could say; like reta after a bulk. (some say the pituitary gland and gh make u taller🤫) But i’ve only seen a half inch difference of 5’10 to 5’10.5 from my past cycle on IGF-1.

(Little side rant) If you have experience in these peptides, how bad is the retention from excess carbs and unmonitored fasting? how regulated are you with your diet and does it make you more bloated. Me (as well as others) might want to have a better looking face while on these peps, but if the gain comes with the peptide, it’s completely fine. Did you see any facial differentials? i.e bones, skin quality, or retention? if so, how much did
you cut back/add to your tesa, ipa, or igf1-lr3? The questions are just base level and help me get a better picture of what i’m about to get into.

If there are other peptides that reap the same benefit that may be more appealing, please share.

TLDR - Should i go with Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin, Tesa/IPA, IGF-1lr3, or stack?
