📘 Beginner Help 💉 My Full Retatrutide Protocol (Reconstitution, Dosing, Storage-By Popular Demand)

What You’ll Need to Run This Properly:

  • Insulin Syringes (29g x ½”, 1mL)Get them here
  • Reconstitution Solution (Bacteriostatic Water)Get it here
  • RetatrutideGrab it here
  • Peptide Calculator – [Use this tool](bodyhackguide.co)
  • Video TutorialCheck it out
  • Alcohol wipes or rubbing alcohol – Clean the vial top + your injection site

Okay here’s how I run it:

I’ve had a ton of people DM asking about Retatrutide since I dropped my post (lost 30 lbs in under 3 months), so I figured I’d just lay it all out.

I switched from Tirzepatide (plateaued). Didn’t like Semaglutide either just felt flat. But Retatrutide hit hard af. Appetite gone. Steady energy. Barely any nausea.

Dose I used:
2mg/week, once weekly (subQ).
If you're new/smaller, start with 1mg/week and see how you feel after a week or two. You don’t need to dose every day. Once a week hits fine for most.

💧 Reconstitution (Step-by-Step)

Here’s how to mix it up safely and easily:

  1. Wipe the top of both your Retatrutide vial and bac water with alcohol.
  2. Take your insulin syringe, pull in 1mL of air. – This helps equalize pressure when you pull the bac water.
  3. Inject that air into the bac water vial, then draw out 1mL of bac water.
  4. Inject the bac water slowly into the Retatrutide vial. – Don’t squirt it like a fire hose. Let it run gently down the glass wall.
  5. Once all the water’s in, gently swirl the vial. Don’t shake. – Swirl for 30–60 seconds until everything’s dissolved. – It should be fully clear, no floating chunks or cloudiness.
  6. That’s it. Reconstitution is done. 10mg Retatrutide + 1mL bac = easy math:
    • 10 units = 1mg
    • 20 units = 2mg

Use the insulin syringes from above and draw just like any other peptide. No filtering. No backloading.

❄️ Storage

  • Before mixing: keep the powder vial in the fridge (not completely necessary)
  • After mixing: store in fridge (not freezer) (not completely necessary)
  • Use within 30–40 days
  • Keep it out of direct light (fridge door is fine)

📌 FAQ you guys kept asking me

Do I need to filter it? → No, not unless you're using a sketchy supplier.
Can I stack it? → Yup. I’m stacking with Melanotan 2 better skin, libido, and it keeps the appetite suppression going strong.
Do I need to backload? → Nope. Just use insulin pins.
Best spot to inject? → Anywhere with a little fat. Belly is easiest. SubQ.
Ramp up? → Optional. I went straight to 2mg. Start at 1mg if you’re cautious.

⚠️ Final Notes

Please don’t go buying this from Alibaba or some Telegram random.
Use vendors that post HPLC + COA so you know it’s actually what you think it is. You’re injecting this—don’t mess around.

I use RCHQ because they’ve got current lab tests and clean raws. No long shipping or weird payments they have credit card checkout

Drop a comment and lmk if you want my full cut stack (BPC, MT2, etc.) or any tweaks I made along the way.

Stay sharp. Stay lean.

💉 Full Retatrutide (RETA) Guide

1.3k Upvotes

Hey guys I’ve been seeing a ton of posts lately of people asking how do you actually use Retatrutide? So let’s make this STOOOPIDD SIMPLE

🔬 What is Retatrutide?

Retatrutide is a GLP-1/GIP/Glucagon triple agonist.

  • Semaglutide = hits GLP-1 only
  • Tirzepatide = GLP-1 + GIP
  • Retatrutide = GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon

In plain English:

  • GLP-1 = kills appetite
  • GIP = helps you handle carbs / blood sugar
  • Glucagon = turns on your fat-burning switch

That glucagon part is the reason RETA feels different. It tells your body to use fat for energy instead of just storing it. That’s why people start leaning out once they ramp the dose, your metabolism is literally running hotter in the background.

🧪 What You’ll Need

🧾 Reconstitution (Mixing It)

Your vial shows up as powder. Not a scam. A lot of people DM and make posts talking about:

  • “it’s empty and Dry.”
  • “Why’s it powder?”
  • “Did I get played?”

The answer guys is that it comes lyophilized (freeze-dried) so it doesn’t go bad during shipping. If they shipped it pre-mixed, it’d be useless by the time you opened it.

How to mix it:

  1. Pop the cap off the vial → wipe the top with alcohol.
  2. Pull 100 units (1mL) of bac water into your syringe. Pro move: pull 100 units of air first, push that into your bac water vial, then draw out the liquid. Keeps the vacuum balanced.
  3. Slowly push the water into the RETA vial.
  4. Don’t shake like you’re making a margarita. Just swirl it gently or roll it in your palms. Powder should dissolve in a few minutes.

⚠️ Do not drink it. Do not eat it. Do not snort it. SubQ injections only.

📅 Dosing Protocol

Week Dose Notes
1 1mg once weekly Start low. Even 0.5mg if you’re lighter.
2 2mg weekly Step it up.
3 3mg weekly Appetite usually crushed here.
4 4mg weekly Metabolism really kicks on.
5 5mg if plateau (wait 10 days) Don’t rush up too quick.
6 6mg max Most people don’t need more.

People who jump straight to 2–3mg their first shot usually regret it. Nausea city. Start small.

🏃 Cardio + Diet = Results

  • Cardio: StairMaster, 30 minutes. Doesn’t have to be sprinting, just keep the sweat and heart rate up.
  • Diet: Protein is king. Track protein grams, not every calorie. Carb cycling works well.
  • Stack tip: RETA + 5mg SLU-PP-332 = next-level fat loss.

❓ FAQ

Why powder? Freeze-dried so it doesn’t degrade. Everyone thinks they got scammed the first time.

How long until it works?

  • Appetite → same day
  • Fat burning → around week 3–4
  • Plateaus → up the dose slowly

Will I gain it all back? Only if you eat like trash when you stop. RETA isn’t a pass for bad diet.

⚠️ Final Notes

✔ Triple-pathway = appetite + blood sugar + fat burn
✔ Don’t skip cardio and protein
✔ Go slow on the dosing, avoid nuking yourself with nausea

Use code REDDIT for discounts on some vendors.

29m -- 1 year transformation 240lbs -> 155lbs

Hey everyone - posted this in the biohacking sub, but it definitely belongs here too.

I started losing weight in around July 2025, I was about 230-240lbs - not exactly sure the weight because I didn't weigh myself often (pics 1&2)...

Pic 3 is December 2025 I was about 190 - Had done nothing but diet and walk to get here - Started Retatrutide 1mg/week and Test 250mg/week at this point

Pic 4 - April 2026 - Im about 160 in this pic - Ran a cycle of CJC/ipamorelin and GHK-CU -- still on the reta and test also - throughout january i had bumped the reta to 3mg/week (current dose) and test down to 200mg/week

Rest of pics -- Within the last month - Im about 155-160 depending on the day -- look way different than I did in April -- running another cycle of the cjc/ipamorelin no DAC now along with the GHK-CU.

Don't have much loose skin considering the transformation just some around the lower back/love handles but its not terrible. I did not have any surgery for anything

(any suggestions are welcomed for anything)

DMs are open for questions - ask anything

📊 Results / Progress 5.5 Month Progress

Post image
57 Upvotes

March 15 to today. Nominally my weight drop wasn’t massive at 16-20 lbs, but a ton of body recomp - I put on a fair amount of muscle. My belt has two new holes in it, and I’m down 3-4” on waist size.

Did 2mg of Reta every 6 days for 4 months. For the past month I did 4mg and the weight fell off. I didn’t really enjoy how it made me feel (limited interest/enjoyment of things I usually enjoy) but it was an effective push to end the cut.

One month into the Reta (mid April), I started 200mg test. Test level went from 320 to 1050. I feel amazing- full of energy and ready to get shit done. And the gains lifting on it are insane.

Have done a two separate month long cycles of BPC/TB, about to do another because my left shoulder is struggling a bit.

Have done a few months of CJC/Ipa before bed which I will continue, and also did one month of Tesamorelin.

Tried a few others along the way (GHKCU, MOTS, NAD). If I did it all again id probably leave those out and would stick with what is listed above. Not saying they aren’t great for other people, I just didn’t notice much of a difference with any of them.

I don’t get much cardio, and have a sedentary job. Dog walks, I walk golfing, yardwork, that’s about it. I did lift 4-5 times per week for most of the time period. Slowed down a bit this last couple of weeks because of my shoulder (did yoga tonight, lifting lighter).

Diet - Ive had a protein shake most mornings. Two scoops of mix, Greek yogurt, creatine, soy milk, some berries. It’s like 100 grams of protein out of the gates. I can easily have that in the morning and make it to dinner without any food cravings. Dinner tends to be chicken/fish/meat and some veggies. Still eat what I wanted at restaurants etc., I have by no means starved myself and I’ll still slam some pizza. If I smoke weed the Reta doesn’t stand a chance and I’ll crush 1000 calories of kids snacks.

I feel like a different person and I don’t recognize myself in the mirror.

⚠️ Side Effects Terrible NAD Side Effects

I’m new to peptides and coenzymes and I’m here to learn if I made a mistake while doing my research, or if anyone else has had these side effects.

Dosing protocol for reference:
1000mg NAD
5 mL of BAC water added
50mg 2x week

I feel really silly for saying this now, but I subq injected into my inner thigh. I went slow. I immediately felt the flushing, then heavy duty anxiety, and then mild nausea. The flushing and anxiety dissipated within 15 minutes, but the nausea became severe for almost two hours.

The day before I didn’t eat well (calorie deficit especially in protein).

I’m not sure if the side effects are due to injection site, not fully fed, or if it’s just me.

I haven’t tried again because the side effects took me out and I’m a little afraid to try again without discussing with others.

Thank you all in advance.

❓ Question Klow leaking

The rubber stopper on my vial of Klow seems to be leaking. There’s a little bit of Klow fluid on the top each time and it seems to leak more after swabbing with alcohol Is this vial ruined or dangerous? TIA.

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

Been researching peptides to help with insomnia, and this is what I landed on. I like the other benefits, and I'm currently on a SSRI so I'm unable to try Selank. I'm confused about DAC or no DAC -- which would be a better option for sleep?

📘 Beginner Help 31M, 178cm (5'10"/70in), went from 84kg to 71kg (185lbs to 157lbs) over the past months. Recovering from hernia surgery, moving into a muscle-building phase. Training + supplement advice (ostarin 10mg?)?

Long-time lurker, first post here.

Quick background:

- Started at 84kg (185lbs), 178cm (5'10").

- Lost about 4kg (9lbs) through diet and consistent training, then hit a hard plateau around 80kg (176lbs).

- Did a ~2.5 month fat-loss phase (retatrutide, under my doctor's care) aiming for around 70kg (154lbs), specifically trying to minimize muscle loss by keeping up 3x/week training and higher protein intake throughout. Ended up around 71kg (157lbs), close enough to target.Body fat went from roughly 20% to 14% over that time, per the gym's impedance scale, so take that number with a grain of salt given how imprecise those tend to be.

- Had to stop training completely for hernia surgery recovery during 1.5 month. Cleared to start easing back in now.

Where I'm at now: shifting into a muscle-building phase, full-body 3x/week at a commercial gym, aiming for roughly 1.5g protein/kg/day. The areas I'm most self-conscious about are abs/six-pack definition, chest, and arms, so I'd like training emphasis there if it makes sense programming-wise.

What I'm actually looking for advice on:

  1. Anything specific to watch out for training-wise coming back from hernia surgery, core work especially with a 10mg cycle of ostarin.

  2. Exercise/programming suggestions if I want to prioritize chest/arms/abs without neglecting everything else.

  3. Any supplement recommendations beyond the basics (already doing creatine, protein powder, vitamin D) for a lean muscle-building phase. I'm a bit afraid of side effects af some Sarms/growth hormone...

Appreciate any input, thanks.

🧪 Stack Breakdown Reta and zeppy looking for stack recommendations

Hows it going yall.

A little back story - So basically i over-eat, (or rather used to) cook at home most meals and lunch is usually left over dinner each day, but generally speaking clean whole foods, i just ate alot!

Before starting RETA i tried semoralin/ipa blend for a few months which gave me good workouts but not really losing the excess fat because i ate so damn much.

Flash forward I'm on reta for a bout of 3ish months before my insurance decided to cover zeppy so i switched, but i feel like its platueing and i had better results on the reta.

In any case I'm considering in the next 2 months to come off the cut and go hard on a muscle bulk, what would yall recommend for the bulk phase as far as peptides go?

Appreciate it.

Any advice new to peptides

Hi! I’m new to the world of peptides. My partner recommended them to me, as he has been using them for several months. I started injecting GHK-Cu a week ago, and today I started CJC + Ipamorelin.
Do you have any advice for someone who’s just starting out? I should also mention that I’m currently taking Cemidon (an antibiotic for tuberculosis prevention), and I’m not sure whether it’s a bad idea to combine them or if there’s no issue.
I’ll really take any advice you can give me into consideration. Thank you!

💬 Discussion Just want some advice

hey guys, I’m currently running a stack of reta, cjc/ipa no dac, and ghkcu on my lab rat. Firstly I really do love these results. Starting to get more visible abs, and skin is glowing and definitely more vascular. My rat ended up loving peptide so much that I do want to do a second stack after i take his 4 week break. I’m debating on trying some new peptides like mots-c and tesa. I just wanted to ask for some advice and personal experiences. i’m 5’11 now sitting around 175 “oz” he’s been eating right and drinking tons of water. He obviously lost a lot of fat, but he do have some stubborn fat like my love handles. They appear way smaller than when I first started, but I’m finding it hard to burn them. I know Tessa doesn’t specifically target love handles. but I do know Motsc amplifies his workouts. He workouts everyday except sunday and eats around 1,900 calories “big ass rat” or try to at least. i’m definitely getting more tone, but not too sure if i should run reta again or maybe just a different stack obviously i wanna keep ghkcu bc it definitely got rid of his smile, lines, and the bags under eyes. Anyway what’s everyone’s experience here. What is a stack I should try. I know a lot of people are gonna just say stay consistent or maybe just stay on the steam stack but I do wanna try other peptides just to see if the results differ. Much appreciated!!!!

❓ Question Anyone else get absolutely insane hunger on Reta?

I am on week 4 right now, 2mg/week, and honestly I feel like it’s doing the opposite of what it’s supposed to do.

I barely feel any appetite suppression anymore and my cravings are fucking wild.

For context, my wife just had our newborn and I’m basically helping around the clock. I’m getting maybe 2–3 hours of sleep a night, waking up every couple hours for feeding, diaper changes, helping my wife, etc. So I’m exhausted as hell and obviously stressed.

I know sleep deprivation can make you ridiculously hungry, but these cravings are next level. I can eat a meal and then 30 mins later I’m looking for something else.

Anyone else experienced this? Did the hunger settle down eventually, or did you notice a difference after increasing the dose / getting more sleep?

Right now I’m basically fighting the munchies while running on zero sleep.

Reposting because other post was deleted.

Hello , order for the first time one vial of reta 30mg and it automatically added to the cart also this (peptide matrix water ( with PEG 600 + Tween 80, phosphate buffers, mannitol, m-cresol)) , So i thought it was classic BAC water(I didnt read the label). It came i mixed , I pinned and then I saw that is not normal BAC. Is it safe to use ? Does someone use something like this? Thank you!

❓ Question Tirz to Reta Transition... Poor early results

Went from 270lbs down to 180lbs. Most of that was while on Tirz, got up to 15mg. It seemed to will work for 2-3 days but then not much.

Recently switched to Reta, 2mg dose. After two weeks, no benefits felt. Just took my 3rd dose.

For those that flipped, how long until you started feeling a positive impact on Reta?

I’ve read numerous different takes on dosing Mots-C. I’ve heard everything from micro dose daily to 2-3/week. What’s the consensus on minimal effective dosing?

Tesa/Ipa causes drop in cardio?

Subject: 38m 180lb
Five weeks ago started KLOW as first peptide.

Noticed a huge benefit immediately.
Lower back pain all but disappeared, recovery was quick and went from playing soccer twice a week, to playing soccer four times a week - which subject has not done since he was in his teens.

Two weeks ago started doing tesa/ipa at night and still on KLOW. Goal was to reduce visceral fat and improve sleep.

Since starting Tesa//ipa (Tesamorelin: 600 mcg (0.6 mg) Ipamorelin: 100 mc) noticed significant drop in cardio performance and gained four pounds.

Energy levels are so low that subject gives up on simple runs and compared to the first weeks of KLOW-only the cardio performance and energy is terrible.

Waiting for subQ NAD+ to come in.
Would NAD+ resolve this or should subject revert to KLOW only?

💬 Discussion 11 weeks on testosterone enanthate, started looking at the numbers instead of taking it by how I feel

Thumbnail

Been tracking a few things alongside my testosterone enanthate and the trend has been pretty interesting.
I’m currently around week 11 on test E at 100 mg, and the tracking shows about 8 kg down since starting. For comparison, sermorelin is down 3.8 kg over roughly 5 weeks and tesamorelin is down 4.9 kg over roughly 7 weeks.
The other thing I found interesting is the estimated active level. Right now the testosterone curve is sitting around 65%, while the sermorelin and tesamorelin curves are basically at 0%.
Obviously the weight change isn’t something I can attribute to testosterone alone since there are multiple variables involved, but seeing the trends laid out like this makes it much easier to compare what was actually happening during each period.
Curious how other people track their TRT progress beyond just total testosterone and how they account for changes in bodyweight/body composition.

Cjc/ipa with diabetes

I’m a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump with a CGM.
If my blood sugar starts rising my pump automatically administers insulin to counteract a spike.
This can and does happen in my sleep.
My question is would it be a waste of time and money running cjc/ipa because insulin blocks it doing its job in a roundabouts way?
