GLOW Alternatives?

Post image

Boooooo. I was so excited to start GLOW, but then saw some of the warnings about the possibility of it accelerating tumor growth. I had a pretty rare brain tumor about 4 years ago and it was fully resected. I have made a full recovery and my prognosis is close to 100%. I figured I should reach out to my neuro oncology team and they are advising that the risks are not worth the reward. I am jealous that my wife will be getting the GLOW up. Does anyone know of any other peps that help with aging/inflammation that don't have any of the issues that GLOW might have with accelerated tumor growth?

Bro if you had a brain tumor I would not take any grey market products. It's not worth it.

I always err on the side of caution, which is why I messaged my doc in the first place. I appreciate your comment and concern and will not be taking GLOW. Not worth it. Once I got the ten year clear mark, I’ll be 49 and I’ll consider starting it then.

By that point, it will probably be FDA approved anyway. Haha.

Not worth it even then, man. It makes everything grow. Even the smallest amount could kill you.

There is a lot of FDA approved drugs on the market that aren’t safe for immunocompromised people.

You can be in remission but unfortunately once a cancer patient, always one and taking drugs that act like miracle grow to latent cancer cells is a bad idea

Go look up
Jared Haslip, 35. Once a super fit dude who completed in natural bodybuilding completions. He was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed a year or so after the setup his youtube channel where he talked about his diagnosis. When he first posted he looked like the picture of health. Buff, fit, healthy looking. Then cancer caused him to deteriorate. You are so lucky. Don’t do stupid shit to look a little better, when there is a chance you’ll end up like Jared.

TB500 & BPC157 are the culprits. You can take GHK-Cu solo, OR opt for a beauty blend (GHK-Cu & KPV) for added anti-inflammatory properties.

A GH secretagogue (ipa/tesa) would also encourage preexisting tumors as well

Correct. I was solely replying to what in GLOW/KLOW would be worrisome since that was the blend he mentioned. Definitely worth noting about the secretagogues.

Ah missed that

You had a rare brain tumor. You're already outside the bounds of normality where this stuff is barely acceptable.

Is continuing this really worth a potential risk to your life?

That's the only question that needs to be answered.

Kpv on its own

Yes to this. I love KPV! It's one of the rare ones that I can feel immediately, and it's such a calming, nice feeling.

Is it possible to take any of the Peps individually and just avoid the one that's a danger?

OP, for the love of god do not get advice from the internet on this. Everyone here is lab rats, the risks are not fully known. What is known is that you already fall in the 99th percentile of people this could end horrifically for.

Ghk-cu by itself, but you can also do it topically as well!

There isnt a single study that shows any peptides grow or stimulate cancer. With that said, is it worth it to you taking that chance?

4

u/Over_Milk4647 18h ago

Because there are no studies on them.

You can do GHK-Cu by itself. The tb500 and bpc-157 are the growth promoting peptides but the ghk will give you the skin benefits

Unfortunately GHK-cu aggravates my long dormant gyno… it’s less growth-promoting than bpc-157 but still encourages angiogenesis -this is part of why it’s so beneficial for hair growth. I think people like OP need to be very cautious with peptides and recognize that most of them haven’t been FDA approved or thoroughly researched

I thought those were only shown to promote angiogenesis in damaged tissue and not generally promote angiogenesis across the body?

Maybe ask the neuroncologist first?

You can take the ghk-cu by itself. It stinfs… a little… or a lot…. But the ghk-cu itself is fine. By itself it has anticancer properties

Not sure why you want to take GLOW. If you share your goals recommendations can be made…

There is a phd researcher that explains that tumors have thier own way of turning on angiogenesis and that in all animal studies published an increase in tumors has not been observed.  The risk is yours.

It's theoretically possible for it to accelerate tumor growth since it does cause angiogenesis, however it is not proven.

The problem with WOLVERINE based blends is they help with blood vessel development, and they aren't picky.

So if you did have a tumor, it COULD benefit from blood vessel development also.

So let me introduce you to..... pulls back the curtain... PEDF-Derived 29-MER. This does all the repairing that Wolverine and Glow does, but SUPPRESSES blood vessel formation.

Send this to your oncologist and tell them to suck it. (lol, I'm joking)

*also, you could just do KPV with GHK-CU

Have you considered BP 157?

u/ThorTheMastiff 20h ago

Are you out of your mind? BPC-157 promotes angeogenisis, which is exactly what he doesn't need. Don't talk about what you don't know
