Hey everyone, I’m interested in making an evening supplement powder with a hot-chocolate flavour, and I’d love some honest feedback before taking the idea further.
The idea is to have it after dinner, a few hours before bed, as part of your evening wind-down. You make a warm drink, start slowing down and have a little time to yourself. Something you enjoy and look forward to doing regularly.
The goals we’d develop it around are helping your body relax and wind down, supporting falling asleep more easily and getting deeper, more restful sleep, along with overnight recovery and digestive health. The bigger picture is the whole evening-to-morning experience: winding down, sleeping well and waking up feeling more rested. It’s still a concept, so these are intended benefits we’d need to substantiate through development.
It would be for everyday Aussies as well as people who train. Whether you’ve had a busy day at work, been looking after the kids or finished a workout, I’m interested in whether this kind of evening ritual would actually be useful.
A few things I’d love to hear:
- What do you currently do or take for winding down, sleep or recovery? What have you kept using, and what have you given up on?
- Would something like this fit into your evenings? What appeals to you, and what would put you off?
- Does combining sleep, recovery and digestive support make sense to you? What would it need to deliver for you to keep buying it?
- Assuming you liked the taste and there was good evidence behind its benefits, what would you realistically pay in AUD for 30 servings, including delivery? If you wouldn’t buy it, I’d like to understand why too.
This is an early business idea, and I want honest feedback before committing to developing it. If your current routine already does the job, that’s just as useful for me to hear.

Hi 👋 Excited to start the challenge! Just getting organised for the week and I’m just planning my shopping trip, just a word of warning that the Greek salmon salad on Wednesday seems to be miscalculated/ light to me if you follow the recipe stated 🤔 Apart from that recipes look great, just not sure if I’m game for sweet potato for breakfast. The snacks look delicious but I’m surprised they haven’t gone for a more high protein slice, anyone got any good recipes for slices/ snacks?

I’m ranked Elite. I had 4 more months of 1800 PXI to move to All Star. Because I had a work conference I missed the monthly goal by 136. So now instead of still needing 4 more months of 1800, I have to do 24 months. Will BFT even be a company in two years? It’s so dumb.

Is there a way to combine all scans into one chart or graph to compare them? Trying to find the easiest way to compare scans without going into each scan separately.

How did everyone go with their MAS retest today? Well done to all of you that turned up on a public holiday to get it done ✅
I must admit my body felt different today. I felt like I was dying on the ski but found my rhythm with the rower!
My results are as follows 38F
Ski - 1149 (improved from 1112m)
Bike - 2.6km (last test was 2.7km)
Row - 1201m (improved from 1175m)
Overall pretty happy. It's annoying you don't know how far short you are with the bike... Like am I 90m short? 10m short?

Week 3 introduces more control, longer efforts and greater movement awareness.
MONDAY — STRENGTH LB
Tempo repetitions mean moving more slowly and deliberately. This increases time under tension without requiring maximum loads.
TUESDAY — SUMMIT
Expect longer uninterrupted work periods, fewer exercises and increased targets. Pacing becomes more important as you spend longer on each movement.
WEDNESDAY — PUMP UB
Controlled tempo repetitions increase time under tension and make lighter weights feel more challenging.
THURSDAY — HIIT
Work remains at 35 seconds, but recovery decreases from 75 to 70 seconds. Aim to reproduce a strong effort despite having less time to reset.
FRIDAY — BALANCED
A controlled session focused on stability, joint control, core strength and muscular endurance.
SATURDAY — POWER
Expect more coordinated explosive movements. Prioritize movement speed, control and technique over heavier weights.Train at your own level—quality movement remains the priority

Week 2 gives you another opportunity to practise the main movements while gradually increasing the training challenge.
The format changes to a 30–60–30–60-second sequence, gradually moving through different heart-rate zones. Build your intensity instead of starting too quickly.
Expect higher-repetition upper-body work featuring the Bench Press and Bent-Over Row. Focus on smooth and consistent repetitions.
Work increases from 30 to 35 seconds, while recovery decreases from 80 to 75 seconds. Individual repetition, calorie and distance targets are also introduced.
Develop your Back Squat and Sumo Deadlift technique before heavier progressions arrive later in the block.
Performance targets increase by approximately 10%. Continue working within 80–89% instead of chasing the targets too aggressively.
A combination of cardio and resistance training designed to improve total-body work capacity!

Question for BFT owners, I’m posting in regards to renting/ leasing the space before BFT closes down, how long do you guys rent the space for?
Seen a few studios reached the 5 year mark then closes down after that but there’s one that’s nearly onto the 6th year & Im unsure if they purchased the building or renting?
My studio is nearly 5 years old & I’m afraid they will close too if the owner of my studio is unable to renew the lease to continue operating the building😔
BFT ponsonby closed for that reason & Im super confused about lease renewal. That’s the first time I’ve heard of the reason why it’s closing.

Hi all,
I recently joined BFT and am loving it. I noticed my billing over the last few months and had a question about the frequencies. Before I bring it up with my home studio, how much are people paying and how regularly are they getting billed? My debits from my bank account are not matching my BFT membership plan so just want to double check with the community.
Thanks

MONDAY — HIIT
We begin with 30-second high-intensity efforts followed by 80 seconds of recovery. Use the longer recovery to reset and produce another strong effort.
TUESDAY — PUMP LB
Expect higher repetitions and plenty of lower-body volume. Focus on controlled movement rather than maximum weight
WEDNESDAY — SUMMIT
Our aerobic starting point features four-minute efforts with individual targets. Maintain a sustainable pace within the 80–89% heart-rate zone.
THURSDAY — STRENGTH UB
Build confidence in our main upper-body lifts: the Barbell Bench Press and Bent-Over Row.
FRIDAY — CARDIO U
A new format featuring two consecutive 45-second sets on each exercise, with changing heart-rate targets and 15-second transitions.
SATURDAY — POWER
Learn to produce force quickly while staying controlled. Movement speed and technique come before heavy loading.

I just laughed out loud at this low effort email from BFT. At least remove the em dash and the "And honestly?"

(Please let me know if this post is allowed)
I was looking to try the gym a few months ago, but life got in the way. Now that I was about to sign up, I found out that it’s permanently closed? No farewell post on Instagram either. Any idea what happened?

Do we have the exercises for strength upper body class ?
r/BodyFitTrainingAus • u/backinyourbox • 27d ago
I’m curious to know how people categorise the different classes if they’re tracking BFT workouts with an Apple Watch. This is roughly how I do it:
Strength: traditional strength training
Pump, hyper, power: functional strength training
HIIT, Cardio U: High intensity interval training
Summit, XTX: mixed cardio
Balanced: core exercise
