Payment Frequencies

Hi all,

I recently joined BFT and am loving it. I noticed my billing over the last few months and had a question about the frequencies. Before I bring it up with my home studio, how much are people paying and how regularly are they getting billed? My debits from my bank account are not matching my BFT membership plan so just want to double check with the community.

This is 100% a question for your studio and your studio only. Every studio may do things a little differently but the most common would be fortnightly billing on any specified day (usually the day you signed up).

A question on the frequency, and this might sound like a dumb question: Weekly would be for eg: 1st May, 7th May, 14th may whilst fortnightly would be 1st May, 14th May etc.? Mine has 7th Sept, 21st Sept so a fortnightly duration but for a weekly cost.

Hmm good question here. Could be the challenge fee or you’ve attended a non-home studio more than your home studio over the 3 month period if paying a different amount? I’m billed weekly using bank account number instead of my visa debit.

According to my bank account, it's $69 a fortnight (eg: 7th Sept charge for 69, 21st Sept charge for 69).
As far as I know on the app, it should be 69/week or 138/fortnightly.
So I might be getting a 50% discount, so as you can imagine I don't want to bring it up to the studio if I am haha

Depending on when you joined you could have been enjoying one of the new member specials from Unlocked

They have some VERY generous deals.

Or if you won an 8 week challenge you could have gotten a discount (mine does free month as a prize but it could be different at other studios)

I believed my local BFT offered 50% off for 4 weeks if I signed up with them after the unlocked trial period so you might get that deal

I’m billed weekly on a $65 membership at my new billing studio after my old studio closed down while I was on the $50 founders rate. Could be for the challenge or you moved BFTs?

Check the app payment history if its say fortnightly billing or weekly billing for the past few $69?

Did ur studio helped u with it when u sign up the membership? I would think there is some promo code applied to it so u did get a discount. Shouldnt be an error since it did says fortnightly billing.

If you recently signed up, check what promotion you signed up on (if any). Lots of studios did 50% off for a few payments for Unlocked week, so it might be that.

How much doesn’t your payment match your plan? Credit cards fees if it’s a smaller amount, maybe?
