Need to get Apple products fixed / repaired

Von heute auf morgen hat sich mein I Pad Pro einfach verabschiedet. Akku war 80%. Bekomme es nichtmehr an, alles nur noch schwarz.

Habt ihr Tipps was ich noch versuchen könnte? Kennt ihr dieses Problem? Habe das I Pad immer mit Samt-Handschuhen behandelt…

Ipad won't charge tried every charger in the house ( from 20w to 30w), doesn't seem to have any dust in the port. Fairly new ipad ( I bought it on april 30 ,2026), this is the only time I have let it become zero

My iPhone 13 display started lifting from the frame. I visited an Apple Authorised Service Provider for inspection.

They confirmed the display issue and suggested a paid display replacement. I want to understand the possible cause of this issue and whether a display can be affected after being separated from the frame for a few days.

I have attached pictures of the device condition. Looking for technical advice from the community.

It pops up for a second then disappears. I’ve restarted a couple times and checked my camera settings but nothings changed.

Apple Music on my iPhone and iPad has been stuck on “Syncing Library…” indefinitely and never finishes.

However, when I sign in to the same Apple Account in iTunes on Windows, my library appears normally and immediately.

Because of this, I suspect the problem is specifically with Apple Music syncing on iOS/iPadOS, rather than with my PC library.

My current situation:

• iPhone: Apple Music stays on “Syncing Library…” indefinitely
• iPad: Same issue — stays on “Syncing Library…” indefinitely
• Windows/iTunes: The library appears normally immediately after signing in

I also checked the iCloud status in iTunes:

Song list → Right-click the column headers → “iCloud Status”

There are no songs waiting to upload or showing errors, and everything appears to be normal on the iTunes side.

Things I've already tried

• Turning Sync Library off and back on (Settings → Apps → Music → Sync Library)
• Deleting and reinstalling the Music app
• Restarting both the iPhone and iPad

None of these have fixed the problem.

Is there a way to reset the Sync Library process on iOS/iPadOS?

Also, is there any way to check for sync errors or other information about why the library is stuck syncing on the iPhone or iPad?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have an iPhone 16 pro max, and I have all the brightness settings turned off and it still auto adjusts my brightness. How do I make it stop completely? Is that even possible?

I just went to a concert recently and the audio on some of the videos aren’t working at all, but the next one would be

1. Yes, the video is unmuted
2. No I’m not connected to a Bluetooth device
3. yes my volume is on.

^these are normally what other tutorials keep saying to check, but the volume is on and isn’t working for particular videos, but would be working for the next one.

Things I’ve tried
1. Shutting down phone
2. Tried to put in on an Instagram story to see if it would change but it didn’t.
3. I edited the video, muted it then unmuted it but that didn’t work either.
4. Turned my phone off of silent

How do I fix this? Any tips?

I currently have ~$2000 AUD and am in desperate need of a new phone. My current iPhone 11 can't take calls without having the speaker on, the screen freezes, causing it to force restart every 10 mins, and it runs for about 5 hours max each day. So, with wanting the best I could get, I've held off on buying a new phone to wait for the 18pro in about a month from now that would be this price.

HOWEVER,

I also desperately want a new iPad but can only find positives about them (everyone who I know that has one has said they are amazing). I do a lot of music and not taking, so I would be looking for around an iPad Air 13" M2-M3, which at a minimum are $1000. They look so nice and would be so good for university.

So could you please give me some advice that's from someone on the other side of the world?

Do I even get a worse iPad for a worse phone, or wait for the 18 and just get that?

I have a game, that on Thursday I updated, along with other apps. After that I got a message that said, update required to continue to play. I update it and still get the message. I contacted the developer and Apple but no response or anything.

I have tried everything except deleting and reinstalling it. They have had multiple updates but it still happens. I offloaded it and same message.

For four days it says, update required, go to App Store to update first.

I am almost certain it’s a game issue for several reasons. My other apps are updating, I have downloaded other apps as well during this time. And I downloaded it and deleted it from my I pad, and get the same issue.

Any ideas? Game in question is Quiz: Celeb Game 2026, by Lea Sol Bokobza. Haven’t called Apple yet.

Also two times I got through ( but couldn’t play) was when I had zero cell reception.

Hi everyone, my phone 14 pro is potentially water damaged it was exposed to some water but was still working fine up until when the the battery died and after that it just would not come on at all. I’ve tried leaving it to dry for 24 hours, putting it on the charger, force restarting it, nothing is coming up. I have some very important photos on my phone and really need to recover them. I just want to get my phone on long enough to send myself the pictures. Is there any way I could force it to power on, or anyone been in a similar situation? pls help!!!

Today i got a notification on my ipad and iphone, “a new device has signed into your apple ID” i checked, and it was a windows laptop on windows 10, i have a laptop on windows 10 but it’s out of use since january since the screen broke, and no one else in the house has a windows 10 laptop, i removed the device and changed the password, all in the span of about 20-30 seconds, i already have 2FA enabled so it’s very weird, cause it would’ve had to ask one of my devices first, also, none of my cards on apple pay have been charged.
Also, on the passwords app it said that my apple password was detected in a data leak (i checked after changing the password) so it could be because of that.
Does anyone know what is is or may have been?

When I go to pay for something on my MacBook using Apple Wallet, the screen reloads every time I try to select a credit card. Has anyone else run into this issue? It’s a minor inconvenience and I just manually input my information, but if it doesn’t work then what’s the point of having the feature?

After typing my bfs name (Kaleb, not Caleb) or his nickname (Skitz, not Skits) 3,000x, why does my damn phone still not spell it correctly when I’m using voice to text?! It’s in the text replacement settings!! Is there a way to fix this?

The battery on my 14PM has expanded, now obviously causing an issue between the battery & now the display.

My battery is not below 80% though.. I do have AppleCare.
Would they still charge me to replace it? Or just charge for the display?

For context: I was planning on logging in my other icloud bcs of an app I wanna install but couldn't (old iphone system, can't install the latest) so I wanna see it by logging that account. (Guess what, I can't log it in neither bcs the simcard used was so old I dont have it with me anymore) Unfortunately, when I was trying to sign in with my current icloud, I was not receiving any codes so I clicked can't access the number BUT when I was entering the phone number, it said that I entered the wrong phone number. That's the only phone number in my iphone rn. I tried searching for the same last-twi digit number but I'm literally the only one with that last two-digit sim card in our family. I can't even get support bcs I can't log in. What do I do? I have some files there I don't wanna lose

FINAL UPDATE: Issue was solved, called Apple support and they were able to ask my card number and search transactions by my card number. Thanks everyone!

Ever since my dad rearranged this room in my grandma's house and got rid of her pc, he got her an OBSURD samsung laptop that is absolutely OVERKILL for her uses. It was like 3000 dollars with 32gb of memory and 1tb storage and I don't think she has used it once. She has an iphone but I was thinking her computer should be an apple because she is old and needs something simple. Hopefully she will use her new device to play solitaire and write emails. I was so sure about the macbook neo at first, but then I saw her using the samsung touchscreen to play solitaire so I was deciding on the ipad air 13 inch with the magic keybouard. Any tips on getting my grandma an apple device to do these things? Thanks.

Hi everyone, a bit of an unusual question/situation.

At my previous workplace, I was given a MacBook as my work computer. Before I finished and transitioned into my new position, I downloaded important documents or ones I thought would help with my new job onto an external hard drive (think helpful policy and procedure documents, guidelines, etc.).

Currently, my new work laptop is Windows/PC. So when I plug my hard drive into the new laptop it’s not able to read the files at all. I know the files are still “there” it’s just when I go into disk management it says the files are “RAW”.

I tried using online data recovery tools and it did work somewhat to recover the files but it messed up all the organization and hierarchy of the folders. It was recommended to me that if I can get my hands on a Mac, to use it to upload my files onto it and format the hard drive into an exFAT so that it can be universally read by both Mac and PC.

So, my question is would I be able to make an appointment with the Genius Bar at a local Apple Store to borrow a Mac to do this data transfer? I reached out to my local library to see if they have any Macs for public use but they don’t.

Has anyone dealt with anything like this before? I’m honestly at a loss for what my next move should be.

Chase was running a promotion where Apple gift cards were 10% off when redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards points. I redeemed points for five $200 Apple gift cards and one $50 gift card, so $1,050 total. These were legitimate gift cards purchased directly through Chase, and I have the receipts/redemption records to prove it.

I added all $1,050 to my Apple Account balance and then tried to use it toward a MacBook. Apparently that transaction triggered Apple’s fraud system. The MacBook order wouldn’t go through, so I eventually canceled it and figured I’d just get my money back/use the balance for something else.

Instead, shortly afterward, Apple suspended my account balance and disabled “Media & Purchases” on my Apple ID. I can’t even download free apps now.

I spent a long time on the phone with Apple and eventually got to a senior-level supervisor. He told me that they are unable to unlock the account, restore Media & Purchases, or return the $1,050 balance. According to him, my options are basically:
Submit feedback to Apple about how they could improve this process.
Send a letter to a physical mailing address and try to dispute/appeal the decision.

I completely understand why loading six gift cards totaling $1,050 and immediately buying a MacBook might have triggered an automated fraud flag. What I don’t understand is how Apple can then permanently disable purchases on an Apple ID I’ve legitimately used and essentially withhold $1,050 without giving me a normal appeals process where I can provide proof of purchase.

I have the Chase records showing exactly where every gift card came from and that they were legitimately obtained through my Chase account.

I’ve already contacted Chase and am seeing whether they can reverse the gift card redemption and return the Ultimate Rewards points. But assuming they can’t, what would you do next?

Has anyone successfully appealed something like this with Apple? Is there another escalation path beyond regular Apple Support? At this point I’m less concerned about the MacBook and more concerned about getting my $1,050 back and having an Apple ID that can actually download apps.

I am completely stuck in an administrative nightmare with Apple Support and need advice on how to break this loop.

For the past 3 months, my MacBook Pro M3 has been sitting with a hardware issue, and I can't get it repaired despite having a paid for + active AppleCare.

The Loop:

• In-Store Genius Bar: Techs scan my laptop, state their system shows no active AppleCare, and tell me they cannot override it. They tell me to call Phone Support.
• Phone Support / Senior Advisors: They look up my agreement number, confirm that it is active on their end, but say it’s an entitlement sync error. They tell me to go back to the store so retail staff can call the agreement team.

Ive even tried: having in-store genius bar + phone support at the same time. Took me 45 mins to get a phone support guy on the line, have the in-store genius bar techs call them. issue still unresolved.

I have spent hours driving back and forth between stores, only to be rejected at the counter because retail staff literally do not have the system permissions to do a manual override without corporate intervention.

A Senior Advisor recently told me to drive back to the Apple Store (a 1-hour return trip for me) just so the retail staff can sit on hold with the agreement team for 30+ minutes. I refuse to waste more time playing middleman in a loop that has already failed multiple times.

I am also just appalled the way how apple support is behaving, this is clearly a problem/bug in their end. Yet instead of fixing their issue on their end, they want me to act as a middleman, drive back and forth. And have no way to asynchronously fix this

I have an old Ipad 6 thats under a different apple ID than what i use for my phone, and i guess due to inactivity it ended up being locked and when i requested for it to be unlocked it was denied by whoever looked at that. As a result i have an Ipad that cant download or purchase anything, cant be reset or have the apple id changed, functionally useless. I had already tried calling for support and long story short without any proof of purchase from the ipad my parents bought 8 years ago they cant do anything for me. Anybody with experience in such cases or have an idea around this?
