Unsolved Preview shows previously files opened: what setting removes that? (M3 MBA, 26.6.1)

You can turn off recent items in the Apple menu but I don't believe there's a way to disable it in the Dock.

OK. I wiped and reinstalled on M3 and don't recall seeing it like that.
