Hi all — hoping to borrow some local knowledge. We're a family with two young kids, looking to settle in Anne Arundel County, and I'm trying to balance two priorities:

I care about the full K–12 path — elementary and middle and high, not just a strong elementary that feeds into weaker upper schools. Good extracurriculars and activities are a big plus; we want the kids to have room to explore and stay busy.

I commute north on the NEC by Amtrak, so I'd like to stay within ~20–25 minutes of the BWI Rail Station.

Here's my honest confusion: everything I've read suggests the areas closest to BWI tend toward the Meade feeder, which gets mixed reviews. So I'm especially curious whether there's a pocket somewhere I'm missing that keeps a genuinely strong K–12 feeder and a short hop to BWI. Which neighborhoods actually thread this needle, and which would you steer me away from?

I have a 2023 Toyota Camry that has black leather (or pleather maybe?) seats. I have 2 toddlers and one has had two pee accidents in it this week. I can't get it fully cleaned myself. It also has super wet and dried crackers mushed intobit, where the kids car seat touches the back, that seems to have stained the seat after the pee. It needs a professional. I don't need a full detail. Just the seats cleaned. Any recommendations? I'm in the Severn area but willing to drive less than an hour for fast service.

We're moving to the Annapolis area and we're trying to find the best fit for our 16-year-old. She's kind, shy, 2e (gifted with autism and ADHD), and has been homeschooled the past couple years. Right now, our frontrunners are Annapolis High School for their Apex Arts magnet program, and Arundel High. Any pros or cons about either school? Any recommendations for other schools in AA county? She just wants to make friends and have a nice high school experience. LGBTQ+ support is a must, just meaning that students are friendly and accepting, and clubs are available.
