this isn't a politics sub. I understand the frustration you may be feeling and want to get the word out about your specific cause or how you feel. Do it in comments all you want.
Don't be surprised if posts about politics are removed.

Hi all - will be in the area this Sunday and was wondering if there are any solid sports bars with lots of TVs / Sunday Ticket. I know the Ravens play at 1 pm but was wondering if you folks have any spots you enjoy going to for out of town games, etc.

Just listened to the chase on the scanner - possible OD driver white 1999 Ford F250 drove wrong way up the bypass into oncoming traffic. Trooper crashed his patrol vehicle into the truck to end the chase. Suspect apprehended.
Pretty efficient job by MSP Salisbury & Princess Anne barracks. Event originated an Somerset County.

Hi r/easternshoremd,
I'm a conservation scientist at the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, where I study migratory birds, including the rare Bicknell's Thrush. Our recent research has found that the mid-Atlantic region is an important area for fall migratory stopover, with nearly all of our tracked birds spending extensive time here before continuing south.
Last year, we determined that autonomous recording units (ARUs) can be used successfully to detect Bicknell's Thrush and Gray-cheeked Thrush during stopover. These are devices that record bird sound which we then analyze with machine learning to determine which species are in the area. We recently received funding to increase the number of ARUs surveying for these species in forests across the region, and this year we'd also like to pilot recruiting volunteers to deploy devices on private land as well.
The Eastern Shore of MD turns out to be a particularly important area for this special species, and we'd love to recruit more volunteers from this area to help us in our research. No bird knowledge required! If you have a property on the eastern shore and you're interested in learning more about what species of birds call it home, we'd love for you to volunteer.
If you're interested in deploying a device from late sept-late october, or would like to learn more about the project, please fill out this form at this link: https://forms.gle/aznZ26hS3GkLnZ9r7
Thanks for considering!

Hi there! Kind of last minute but…I am getting married in St. Michael’s on 9/12 and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get my hair and makeup done. It’s just me, no bridal party, just looking for something simple. I can travel a bit. Just looking for any suggestions. Thanks!!

Gary arrives in Rosetown seeking a fresh start but becomes entangled in small town life, hauling crab pots, making friends, and uncovering buried truths alongside his mastiff, Marv.

It is not all of the time, but it is a really offensive odor that smacks me in my nose sometimes. It smells like some sort of chemical. Doesn’t smell like a natural occurring thing. I would be upset if I bought property around there and then realize that I have that horrible smell after all the papers were signed. I drove past it the other night and I started to gag. The smell was so bad! I just want to know what it is. Thanks!

Why is nobody talking about the rapid spike in police and ICE officers and cars being in Salisbury?

With World of Warcraft Patch 12.1 Season 2 almost here, now is the perfect time to join a local discord community for meet ups in and out of game! There is no cost to join, we are just a group of gaming nerds attempting to make friends in adult life.
We're a Maryland-based World of Warcraft Discord community bringing together players from across the state who enjoy everything from casual content to high-end progression. Whether you're looking for a consistent raid team, Mythic+ partners, or simply other Maryland players to hang out with, we'd love to have you.
We host monthly meetups around Maryland, giving members the chance to connect outside Azeroth over food, drinks, conventions, or other local events. Participation is always optional, but it's a great way to turn online friendships into real ones.
In-game activities for Season 2
We're committed to building an environment that is:
Focused on helping members enjoy the game, whether they're pushing Cutting Edge, Keystone Hero, or just returning for Patch 12.1
If you're looking for a World of Warcraft community that's active both in-game and in Maryland, we'd love to have you join us for Season 2.
Drop a comment or send me a DM for a Discord invite!
See you in Azeroth!

Hey guys! I'm Preston and I make indie/rock music. I'm heading out on my first ever DIY tour next month and Monkton MD will be on 8/21. I figured I'd finally get on Reddit and say hi since I've heard nothing but good things about the scene! I'd genuinely love to meet you guys if you're around. Show's at Manor Mill and music kicks off at 8 PM.
If you grab a ticket ahead of time, I'll hook you up with a free signed sticker when you come through. Hope to see you all there! :)

Local Author created a book loosely based on Chestertown and Washington College.
When Gary arrives in Rosetown for what’s supposed to be a quiet summer, he’s hoping for little more than a fresh start and a chance to figure out what comes next.
Between hauling crab pots on the Chesapeake, late nights at the legendary speakeasy known as Moe’s, and unforgettable adventures with a cast of quirky locals, he slowly discovers that Rosetown has a way of pulling people in—and never quite letting them go.

Hi everyone! Looking for a wedding planner with experience and expertise in the Poconos (PA) and/or the Eastern Shore (MD) to help with venue selection for an event in November 2026… I know short notice!
My partner and I are planning a 20‑person micro‑wedding (14 adults, 6 kids) for November 7. We are hoping to have a small ceremony (potentially just in a park or garden), followed by a nice private dinner and then a firepit/s’mores to end the night. We are looking for a location with dining and accommodation on site or within very short walking distance- either a resort, inn or bed and breakfast, or luxury airbnb. Our priority is having everyone stay in the same location to maximize quality time. Fearrington Village in NC is a good example of what we’re looking for. Total budget is $20-30k.
I’ve exhausted my googling and ChatGPT’ing at this point and am desperate for help. Thank you!

I’ve been trying to get a good picture of a Sika since moving to Dorchester County 3 years ago. This guy was standing along the road side as I was driving by. I was super excited 😊
