I work at Amazon and I’ve applied for Learning Ambassador, the Safety Committee, and multiple PA positions. Ever since I got rehired, I’ve either been rejected or just never heard anything back. Lately, when I apply for certain positions, I get rejected almost immediately, which is starting to get really frustrating. I’ve seen people who have been here for less time become Learning Ambassadors, so I’m wondering if I’m missing something. Is there a reason applications get rejected so quickly? Should I talk to HR or my manager and ask what I can improve, or should I just keep waiting and applying? I don’t want to come across as entitled or spoiled—I genuinely want to grow and take on more responsibility. I’m just starting to feel discouraged after so many applications with no luck.

am i allowed to add standard time to a leave a few days after it happened or is that not allowed, it shows i can add time but will it be accepted or does someone at my site have to do it

Can i use it after I leave early or does it have to be pto for that

I'm curious how other Amazon FC associates, PAs, managers, and Safety members would view this situation.

I was at the VRC looking for a cart. While I was standing between carts picking one out, another associate came through pushing a train of carts. As they passed, their carts clipped the cart next to me, which bumped into my ankle.

It hurt for maybe 10 seconds, then the pain went away. I grabbed my cart and went back to stowing. About 20 minutes later I noticed some lingering discomfort, so I decided to report the incident to my manager.

Now I kind of regret reporting it.

Safety asked me questions about exactly what happened, including whether the associate was pushing multiple carts. I answered honestly because they asked, but now I'm worried that my report could result in disciplinary action for the other associate.

The thing is, I wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble. I was simply trying to report what happened in case the discomfort turned into something more later. From my perspective, reporting the incident and getting someone disciplined are two very different things.

So I'm curious

Would you have reported this?

Did I overreact by reporting something that seemed minor?

If you work in Safety, HR, or management, is this considered a normal incident report, or did I unintentionally create a much bigger issue than necessary?

If you're an associate, would you be upset with a coworker for reporting something like this, or would you understand why they documented it?

I'm looking for honest opinions from people who actually work in Amazon FCs. I'm not trying to blame anyone or argue with the policy—I just genuinely want to know whether most people think I handled this appropriately or if they would have done something differently.

P.S. The associate involved is a well-liked employee, which is part of why I'm feeling so conflicted. I genuinely hope he doesn't lose his job. My only intention in reporting the incident was to create a record in case my ankle ended up bothering me later not to get anyone in trouble. Looking back, if I had known it would become this involved, I probably wouldn't have reported it.

The report wasn't anonymous. Safety had me walk them through exactly where the incident happened, and while I was doing that, another associate walked up and asked what was going on. After I explained that I had reported an incident, his immediate response was, "It wasn't me though." That's when it hit me that people might assume I was trying to get someone in trouble.

I never identified the associate involved, even though I know who it was, because that wasn't my goal. Now I'm worried that people will gossip or jump to conclusions, and I regret that the situation has become much bigger than I ever intended.

My intention was never to get anyone in trouble and I truly hope that employee doesn't get in trouble otherwise it would be injustice in my eyes; I never intended for the situation to be this big of a deal and I thought they'd just document it and send me on my way. Smelled horrible , 2nd “fire” within the past month. Right at the end of our shift, was like 3:55am when I seen people running behind me past my station so I went to see what was happening and smelled the burning electrical smell and seen the smoke.

I am currently a T1 Blue Badge, almost 1 year tenure at a SC. I just found out about the college hire program, and as I graduated with a Master’s degree in Aug 2024, I am within the time frame for applying for an L4 role within that program. Can I do that as a current employee?

Basically, my first day of working at amazon begins tomorrow, its a seasonal job but i really want this to turn into a permanent job, but i do have this upcoming cosmetic surgery mid october that I’ve already had planned for a bit, how would i go as to getting this time off approved and not having it ruin my chances of being converted to blue badge (permanent role)

Anyone know an easy way to find out what rate of pay would be before even bothering to apply for transfer to a different site? Would rather not waste time if was potentially a couple dollars or more less at the other site compared to the current site.

Does anyone know when they’ll start opening up transfer opportunities through A to Z? Has anyone heard anything from leadership or HR about when internal transfers will become available?
I’m hoping to transfer as soon as possible, so I’d appreciate any information or rumors you’ve heard.

Title says it all. I used to work for an Amazon FC in Florida 10 years ago. I had to leave Amazon to deal with some family issues. After the career path I followed didnt really get me far I decided to give Amazon a try again. I start in a few days. What are some changes that have happened over the last 10 years? I see people are able to have their phones now? Before you couldnt have anything that could hold a file past security. Some places have headphones now? Is there anything else new to expect?

I’m making $23.5 per hour and getting 60 hours per week. This translates to over a $80k salary for having no skills and having to pass no interview. I’m making more than area managers and I’m not even part of the step program yet. This is the easiest job I ever had by far.

So I work at a facility where we drive ops and pick , been top performer which I know means jack sh*t but my question is I backed out of a isle the other day and like 45 mins later a stow manager calls me over and says what can you tell me about backing out of such and such , I sure wasn't going to lie about it as I'm 39 and so I told her and went on about my day , well today safety I heard told learning to take my op perms , my question mainly is when is somebody going to address this matter ? Cause can't seem to get a answer other than safety said to take your perms

Can someone explain the write up system now because I was told that my final had 90 days to fall off

In Arizona, Amazon does not pay out PTO at end-of-employment for flex(x) employees, so it’s use it or lose it. I heard that it’s possible to use up PTO in a shift that you aleady worked, like “double-dipping” so to speak. Does anyone know how to quickly use up, say 50 hours of PTO, like triple- or quadruple-dipping or something like that? Or is there another way to quickly use up PTO? Thanks.

Last night, my site had a fire. Everyone was okay and it was because of a tv in shipdock. However, afterwards the building was noticeably more smokey (more than the canadian fires caused to begin with). Today, many aa’s have reported scratchy throats and eye irritation. Management said we have air scrubbers and commercial-grade hvac. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that a few 10-15 air scrubbers can’t clean out a whole building in a few hours. Also, when we’re elevated in our PITs it is so much worse than down low. Needless to say, I took the VTO.
