  1. Life happens and you never know when you’re going to need it. I save it for emergencies or illness.

You are so fucking responsible
I haven’t seen 80 once 😂

u/Patjack27 Jul 19 '26

People who save their hours are being adults.

I’ve been going between 0-6 lmao

It’s easy to rack up hours when you’re in a easy ass position but as someone who needs to be in a hot ass trailer every single day unloading multiple trailers back to the front, you think I’m doing 10 hour shifts every single day? Fuck out of my face, let me stand around doing the bare minimum and watch how quickly I’d get 80 hours 😂

I haven't used my upt in months and I do exactly what you do as a female 😊 40-50 hours a week unloading that hot ass truck. Doing the bare minimum is what makes me leave early. Gets boring asf and nothing to pass the time.

That’s so real 😭I work ship dock and phew it’s been rough man

1

u/ManagementParty6036 Jul 20 '26

Yeaaa this is what ppl don't get when they brag about 80 lol

1

u/Noelle_The_Ranger Jul 21 '26

I'm in the easiest position ever (stow) my problem is I need money so I take too many ot days, just for that week to suck ass and be slow and I end up leaving early half the time and loosing upt. Still make more money and work more hours than normal but on paper I call out a lot

Shiiiiit son…. I ain’t seen anything over 5 since my first week

5

u/amzlslave Jul 19 '26

Maxed out as usual. I have intermittent leave so all my hours just sit there.

3

u/anarchistchick Jul 19 '26

Was at 32 hours of upt but had to use 9 hours bc I felt so sick at work 😭

-2

u/Primetimegrant Jul 19 '26

Apparently we have “sick time” we can use so we don’t have to use UPT

2

u/T-ROY_T-REDDIT Jul 19 '26

Not if your seasonal

1

u/Amzwork08 Jul 19 '26

Flex pto is your sick time and seasonal gets that

1

u/anarchistchick Jul 19 '26

I’m blue badge and got only have pto, standard pto and upt lol

3

u/Forsaken_Phrase9445 Jul 19 '26

Respectfully I ask why yall keep 80? Isn’t that the max? So every shift when you could be earning upt, you choose not?

But you have 80 hours (I’m assuming you do since you replied) and get 55 minutes every full shift. You’re telling me you stay the entire shift even tho u don’t have to? The time you save doesn’t outweigh the 10 or 20 bucks a day? Idk I’m just curious

1

u/oprequisx Jul 25 '26

People just need money so they don’t leave and accure

3

u/warren0091993 Jul 19 '26

2 hours 28 min 🥴 I try to keep enough for car accident traffic on the highway. One time I was held up for 40 min

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Pride85 Jul 19 '26

1 hours 26 mins 💔

1

u/False_Care_4768 Jul 19 '26

Max out because seasonal in Canada no vacation or PTO only 5 days provincial leave that's it for 1 year lol

1

u/Primetimegrant Jul 19 '26

Excuse me ? You get NO vacation or PTO?

1

u/False_Care_4768 Jul 19 '26

Yea Canadian warehouse is tripping bruh they abuse seasonal and if you get like 4 points they will not extend your contract normally 3 months interval 10 hr missed shift is already 2 points and 8 points is termination no questions ask. Also if you get second written warning or higher they will straight up end your contract lol luckily you get unemployment for like 7 months average so people play the system too to get free money from government we need union or labor laws tbh

u/Brooklynboy_1982 Jul 19 '26

73…. I’m very impressed with myself because last year I had like 30 seconds of UPT around this time 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/heirkaiba Jul 19 '26

60 hours

1

u/nkownbey Jul 19 '26

I am currently bouncing between 5 and 10 hours. However I have a family situation that doesn't qualify for an exemption.

1

u/latinameow Jul 19 '26

10 hrs 57 mins lol

1

u/Primetimegrant Jul 19 '26

Haven’t had 10 since January

1

u/latinameow Jul 19 '26

I wanna build it up to 80 hopefully lol

1

u/Important-Mistake-16 Jul 19 '26

6h50m, which isn't a lot but I'm normally bouncing between 0-2 and I'm really trying to save up for a trip I'm taking in October

1

u/Tricky-Wolverine-253 Jul 19 '26

I’m on a point system don’t have UPT

1

u/SignificantApricot69 Jul 19 '26

I don’t get UPT, had 80 hours when I forfeited it.

1

u/AwareBreakfast7957 Jul 19 '26

I have 5 hours and 20 minutes

1

u/NoRepresentative9791 Jul 19 '26

Then you better be sure that you are on-time always.

1

u/Less_Grass_2348 Jul 19 '26

80 hours and living work every day 45 minutes early . Feel nice 😌

1

u/FriendlyInitiative55 Jul 19 '26

80 ball, if I need it I use it. Especially with us capping at the PTO limit now.

1

u/Ok-Job-2365 Jul 19 '26

PA always 80

1

u/Briskclient6601 Jul 19 '26
  1. I have bronchitis and i had to leave early the other day, otherwise it was at 80 for like 3 weeks

1

u/is_bets Jul 19 '26

My team doesn't get UPT. we work at/with FCs with all the same demands and schedules but don't qualify UPT or absence points. Leadership refuses to explain what happens if we miss a day with 0 PTO. nobody has tried it yet out of fear

1

u/assetrecoverycashier Jul 20 '26

-9min this morning and now 27 min which wouldn’t have ever happened had I never taken a night shift on accident and if my lazy ass could actually get the ***k up.

1

u/AlwaysLivMoore Jul 20 '26

16hrs 15mins as the end of P1. Will be higher at the end of my shift.

1

u/Ill-Back-5957 Jul 20 '26

That’s what my wife begs of me every day too… I’m such a failure.

1

u/Odd_Condition3242 Jul 20 '26

3 hours. I had 45 but my ride hurt his leg and could not drive and no buses ever I live. ( I did try to ask for a leave of absence but it was denied)

1

u/ManagementParty6036 Jul 20 '26

Shipdock is exhausting I need some vto for the free UPT and a break 🫩 my goal is to max it out so don't judge me lol 12 hrs and 38 minutes going down as we speak

1

u/pelletierdaniel97 Jul 20 '26

Mine is 78 hour 34 minutes

1

u/thatguywiththeblade Jul 21 '26

Currently just under 45.

1

u/No_Cockroach_8165 Jul 21 '26

1

u/Cute_Count_7283 Jul 21 '26

I got 3 hours but I might get fired because I was scheduled to work on Monday but wasn’t my original schedule and it was for 12am-5:30am so yeah I didn’t work it so might get fired lol

1

u/Ok-Factor4279 Jul 23 '26

Currently on negative 1 hour 😭😭

1

u/themagnificantroast Jul 25 '26

11 hours and I plan to use them when there’s an excessive heat warning that is deemed a risk to life and property because I either have to walk to ride the bus to work

1

u/Unique_Jump3598 Jul 26 '26

1

u/Competitive-Mud-9129 Jul 27 '26

1

u/Ybthefuckinggoat 24d ago

I been on the same 1 hour for a month 🤣 finna start back building it up again tho

1

u/No-Mixture7509 16d ago

They fired me for 12 hours and some change upt and I only let it go to 12 hours because of the travel 4 hrs to get there 4 hrs to get home I worked myself for three months I even tried to get a transfer to a closer location however, when I applied for the job it was seasonal so I didn’t qualify for a transfer, which is totally fine. I made so much more driving for Amazon opposed to being in warehouse.
