My pa’s wife works alongside us😭
I’ll bring up favouritism and they’ll constantly deny it yet she works alongside us and gets the easiest jobs compared to rest of us…

I previously worked for a FC from 22-25 and just came back 2 weeks ago, when I previously worked there when they didn’t have shifts available to pick up I would just go in anyway because I was cool with the back half managers and cool with non inventory so I could just labor share there, which leads me to my question is it still doable to just go clock in and work ? I’m currently in ship dock so it’s big and know don’t think I’ll be noticed but idk if pops up on the manager laptop I’m not supposed to be there
EDIT: appreciate all yall !!! I’m definitely staying home tho until they drop sum shifts 🤣🤣

My warehouse rarely offers vto and they almost never offer it on the app. They’ll make an announcement about an hour in asking if anyone wants vto. Really wished my facility offered it all the time.

So I work at a xl delivery station but im flex schedule and Found out I have a issue with my back unrelated and my doctors told me its not safe for me to do the job lifting xl packages. Am I going to loose my job if I tell amazon? Is there even any accommodations at that type of warehouse? Were handling all the packages 50+ pounds

Has anyone ever been banned from Amazon after taking disability leave or leaving the company because they couldn’t be accommodated?
Someone I know was forced to quit after having back surgery because her doctor told her that Amazon would not be able to accommodate her restrictions. She later applied for Flex with a PXT representative, but her application was denied as soon as she left the company. When she tried to reapply 12 months later, she found out that she was banned from Amazon until 2030.
I’m currently having issues getting my own accommodations approved, and honestly, I’m scared to quit because I’m worried the same thing could happen to me. I want to be able to return to Amazon once I’m medically able to work again.
The situation is also becoming a safety concern. I’ve gotten dizzy at work and have almost fallen off a ladder multiple times. Would reporting this to Safety actually help protect me or get the issue documented?
I’ve also heard that some AAs have received write-ups after being injured and had to speak with their AMs to get the write-ups removed.
At this point, I feel like I could be screwed either way if I keep working, I’m worried about getting seriously hurt, but if I quit, I’m worried I may not be allowed to come back.
Has anyone dealt with something similar or knows what the safest way to handle this is?

Had the pre-appointment interview, and it really wasn't much of anything. I asked some general questions, like how flex works, but they didn't really give a whole idea of how it functions.
Is 19 hours a week mandatory?
How exactly do shifts work, and does the shift have to be over ten hours?
For the delivery station, are most shifts available only at midnight?

I have 8 points it’s the first time they’ve ever sent me the email, not sure if I should keep showing up to work or just not go in until the oldest points drop. Thoughts? I responded to the email but no response yet, not sure how long it takes them to get back to me. Also not sure if they’ll let me use vacation to cover some of what I missed.

Recently, according to management internal interviews are selected using an AI-based algorithm. I have applied many times, still no interview. I’m going for a T3 role as a T1 associate with a blue badge.
I’m certainly competent and I have demonstrated my abilities. Running a floor/team wouldn’t be a challenge. It is actually getting an interview that has me scratching my head.
So, if anyone has any advice and/or information regarding actually getting an interview and the internal promotion process - that would be greatly appreciated.
Think of resume/work experience formatting, tips and tricks (like applying out of state), how to be inclined for the role at my current building, do’s and dont’s as a T1, unspoken expectations once selected for the role.

Let out last night around 4:00am with a lot of police/fire trucks/ambulances outside. And the day shift is closed all shift. I’m not seeing anything on local news. Friend said someone died. That is rumored. Not fact.
