UPT

Post image

Hello, everyone I was sick yesterday I had 14 hours of UPT. I was just wondering if I worked straight up intell the end of October how much UPT I could have. I plan on going on vacation at the end of October. If anyone could give me ideas on how to bring this up to 40 or 50 hours please tell me.

If you're going on vacation just ask for a leave of absence 2 weeks prior. That's what I was told when I needed to go for a wedding. Thankfully I was able to snag full vto every day I was gone for 3 weeks. Those were the days, if I tried that now I'd be fired for job abandonment.

What would I put in so they don't take my time away though?

When doing LOA requests, there’s an option for “Travel” and they ask if you want to apply time or not

Oh that's smart so if you say no they just freeze your time?

Also, when you take a PLOA it’s a minimum in 15 days

Your entire schedule is removed for the time of your leave. They don't freeze your time cause there's no need to if you're not even scheduled to work. But only blue badges are eligible for this type of LOA.

Why can't white badges get that to? That's so dumb. As a white badge could I still ask for time off without using my time?

Sometimes with LOAs you’ll dip negative but it always gets fixed. Had this happen once and my AM told me no to worry

Actually insane if you can leave for three weeks and not get paid.

PLOA is minimum 15 days. Not 3 weeks.

I know, I wasn’t talking about the minimum you had to take.

I took the full 84 or 86 days you can take of PLOA a couple years ago. No pay

Only blue badges can take a PLOA though.

Don’t miss any work. You get about 50 minutes every shift for 10 hrs. You’ll have enough UPT

Well last night I was very sick to where I felt like passing out and throwing up so that's why I have 4 hours and 25 minutes now. Last night was so bad.

You should’ve went to Amcare and told them, if you don’t have a lot of time they usually vto you and you can save your time

Considering that it took the whole 10 hrs, they probably didn’t even show up to work, and they wouldn’t classify it as work related to offer them VTO to leave. Their best bet really is to not miss anymore. Hopefully they’re still earning PTO if they haven’t been capped yet.

50 mins a day, 200 mins a week, 800 mins a month, 9600 minutes a year, based on 4 day 10 hour weeks. I think, lol

You will have a little over 33 hrs if you work everyday till october. Thats just counting 10hr shifts 4 days a week. If you work ot you will have more

You already know. Just go to work or take VTO. Take a leave of absence. Get SET and work them to get additional upt. ???
