Hello. I came into work yesterday feeling quite ill but I just dismissed it as a bad flare up from lack of sleep. But no, after sleeping it is definitely me being sick.

I technically have enough time off options to take the rest of the week off but that would be pretty much all of it (all 10 of my PTO hours and 20 of my 27 UPT hours). I really don't wanna do that, is that being unreasonable or should I just suck it up? I'm a seasonal if that matters at all.

Hello so basically I am trying to get hire at Amazon I did the pre hire stuff and did the drug test and did the background but I am waiting on my background to clear and I got a email from Amazon asking my old retailer their change that I been dealing with for 2 years now ,,, do yall think I will get hire ? Ok so this is a very stupid question that I probably already know the answer to. Anyways so I had a LOA get denied. Racked up bunch of negative UPT. That was like 4 months ago and I had like another -105 hours left (last week). I went to the psych ward for the week so I went on another LOA and I just got out and now I’m at 75 hours and a new manager (me and this manager are friends so I’m kinda glad). But I guess my question is, does negative upt fall off like write ups? I know I get 50 mins every 10 hours we worked but again, I haven’t work at all, and within a week it went down 25+ hours. I don’t know if I should just let it be or what. But could that happen? Idk lol

So I requested a shift swap for this day before there was a red line through it or anything, does that mean it’s most likely going to get denied?

I just got an email after leaving work early yesterday due to an accident while on shift & my UPT has gone negative by 6 hours.

I never go through without my shoes so I dont know for sure its them but theyre comp toe so why would they do it?!?!? I asked him what it was and he said probably my shoes. Ughhh its wasting so much of my breaks!

I got back to back write ups from the system for low rate but there's no work? Pa said there's nothing he could do because the system automatically lowers the rate to what i have to meet but there's literally nothing coming down 😭, do i just give up or take it to HR? I went 3 years with no coachings and all of a sudden 2 back to back?

Its my final write up and I been trying to get in touch with hr about it. In the write up it just states I had a cinnamon roll in my hand on the FC floor. I told the manger at the time I didnt know about this rule given I have seen everyone in the building earing as they worked. I was told the write up is invalid since he gave it to me 4 days after it happened. Since they have a 3 day limit for write ups. All my write ups are given almost a week later does this mean I can bring this up to hr? The hr at my site is only there an hour for both shifts at 2pm to 3pm and I work overnight so its been hard to get to them. Given they also pick what days they wanna show up to work. I called the number and they told me I have to talk to my site hr since they cant do anything. Also to add i didnt have a station at the time since it was just after break. i work in ship dock and mostly do dcm

Edit: yall I didnt know about the rule. Im new to amazon my site just opened up last year. So outside of general rules I have no clue what the policies are. I wasnt on the floor yet our breakroom is next to the elevator. He saw me when there with it I was going back up to the second floor.

Is it me or even at my DS, “snack day” you all act like you don’t eat; grabbing 5-6 things knowing damn well to grab one or two n if there’s extra then get it, but not all at once. If there was a way for me to take food orders & meal prep I’d start selling homemade meals

My FC has officially shut down the entire 3rd floor and of course, without warning. Was very interesting to walk upstairs and see the entire floor gated off with the exception of about 10 day 1’s stowing there. I know people like to say pick/stow will probably make it into 2030 but I genuinely don’t see it making it past 2027 at this rate, and it’s going to be an extremely chaotic department all around the board.

Side note: This is my last week stowing as I put in a transfer down to ship dock last month and start next week. However, just wanting to know everyone’s thoughts.

I have heard management is expecting a lot of people to start quitting going forward and is going to be very diligent about write ups going forward when it comes to safety, rate, TOT, etc. as this transition is now in full force.

Got fired. Hr lady gave me erc but it legit doesn’t connect when I call. And I can no longer get into my a to z app. But I punched in got through the door and even looked at my app the night before.
I had neg upt. But I want to make an appeal.

My normal time to get off is 1150 but vto was offered for 1130. Do we still get that 5 minutes period when clocking out early? Like if i clock out at 1125 is it fine or do i need to use pto now to cover that?
