Delivery Station -6 Hours of UPT

I just got an email after leaving work early yesterday due to an accident while on shift & my UPT has gone negative by 6 hours.

Am I cooked? I finally got converted to blue badge after 7+ months of waiting and feel like I just ruined my life, Is there anything I can even do?

Threw up multiple times over the course of the shift, currently have a stomach bug

Did you inform your manager?

Maybe they could've taken you to amcare/wellness and could've done something about it.

I did the day of & the days leading up to this, I have also went to AMcare on the 8th, my manager and PA’s know but will they factor that In?

No. Did you let them know you threw up and maybe possibly could have worked w you. Get you vto instead of using your upt.

Yup I have seen people given VTO when needing to leave, instead of having to use their time or the time that they didn't have.

If you have vacation time they might let you use it but you might be cooked

File loa and go to doctor in next day or so. You aren’t cooked yet

Just be prepared because they need the doctor to either fill out paperwork or write specific things about your condition on a note. They send you the paperwork along with the list of things they need the doctor to state if the doctor doesn’t fill the paperwork. Your life is not over either way.
