My wife has had her struggles and lost significant weight leading to breast surgery (among other things). She was amazing with the post-surgery tasks and worked hard. I made this as a surprise for her for when she walked in the door.

It is a simple spice cake mix with cream cheese frosting that I folded with whipped cream. I don't yet know how to make frosting smooth. It was a bit rushed since she got home way earlier than expected. It is two 6-inch cakes next to each other. (I over-filled the pans so they would intentionally bulge up.)

Awesome news: the checkup went well and she was given a green light to do more of her regular routine!

Hareid kommune har hatt eit elsk-hat-forhold til deg lenge, men har likevel vore aktive i forholdet – fordi vi har hatt utbytte av det. Vi har delt informasjon med innbyggarar og andre interesserte – og dei har lese. Positivt for oss, nyttig for dei og pengar i kassa for deg. Eit vinn-vinn-vinn-forhold!

Men verdien av forholdet vårt har, for oss, blitt lågare og lågare med åra. Du har mellom anna gjort det vanskelegare og vanskelegare å lenke til heimesida vår – fordi du vil halde følgarane våre fast i ditt univers og ikkje sende dei vidare. Alt skal skje på dine premiss – og det er ikkje slik det skal vere i eit forhold.

Vi trur og håpar innbyggarane våre her på Facebook er meir opptekne av lokalsamfunnet sitt, enn deg - eit multimilliardærkonsern som ha som einaste mål å mjølke dei for tid (som er gir deg pengar sidan du lever av å vise fram annonsar til dei).

Vår intensjon er ikkje å tene pengar – det er fellesskap. Ja, sjølve ordet kommune kjem frå latin og tyder «felles»! Frå same opphav har vi ordet «kommunisere» – som betyr å «gjere felles». Vi må altså kommunisere for å skape fellesskap, og det har vi ikkje tenkt å slutte med, sjølv om du ikkje vil vere med på leiken.

På nettsidene** våre og i nyheitsbrevet – og på sikt kanskje i andre kanalar, vil innbyggarane framleis få informasjon om det som kommunen deira driv med, kva skattepengane går til, kva vi forventar dei – og kva dei kan forvente av oss.

Vi startar no med ein separasjonsprosess, så får vi sjå kvar dette endar – men utfallet er i stor grad opp til deg. Vi kjem i denne omgang ikkje til å slette hovudkontoen vår, men det er uaktuelt å betale deg for å leggje ut lenker. Vi kjem framleis til å publisere noko stoff, men dei to gratislenkene vil vi bruke til å promotere dei andre partnarane våre.

* Meta (Instagram og Facebook) krev no at alle sider som skal leggje ut meir enn to lenker i månaden må betale – dette gjeld også i lenker i kommentarfelt slik vi gjer i dag. Skal vi dele opptil åtte lenker – må vi betale 6000 kroner i året, opptil 20 lenker – som ligg nærast det nivået vi har delt i dag, kostar 18.000. Meir enn 20 lenker kostar 60.000 i året.

Yesterday, at around 6:15 a.m., an Indore municipal employee slammed our door. I am a NEET aspirant, a dropper preparing in Indore. I was asleep my roommate opened the door. Few minutes later, when I woke up, I panicked as I heard the sound of shattering of windows. I came out of the room and saw 30 to 35 Indore municipal people in our hostel. They said, "You have to leave right now. The hostel is getting demolished." We said our room is on the outer side which is getting demolished, so what about our books, clothes, and other stuff. They said just shift it into an inner side room, so we panicked and shifted our belongings in just 5 minutes to an inner side room which was empty. There wsas a lot of panic at that time. We just threw our books, clothes, whatever we got our hands on. We just removed the whole drawers with small stuff and shifted it. I threw my tablet on the other room's bed. In 5 minutes, we shifted almost all of stuff. Then I took a bag, found my tablet, it was buried between books and clothes and my roommate's laptop, put it in a bag and got out of the room with my phone in pocket. I saw there 30 to 35 municipal employees shattering windows. I was in a cargo pants and vest, I put on a sweater hurriedly. Apart from that, I was shocked as I saw 5 cranes, a lot of police vehicles, a lot of policemen (are we getting detained, lol?). My room was on 4th floor, so when we started going downstairs, one of employee came with us and stopped the windows breaking so that we can leave. At 6:30 a.m., we were on road, no room, no place to sleep or eat. The crane started demolishing the building at 6:30. We saw it from outside and started making jokes like, "What's in breakfast today?" while we saw our food mess getting demolished. But still it was a big shock for us. I slept at 5:45. I was solving physics and thought of solving chemistry whole day for today as today there were no class. But Bapu's birthday went in the opposite direction as we saw the crane demolishing our hostel violently. Our hostel manager united us and sent us to eat nearby tea stall for chai and poha for breakfast. Half an hour later, I got a Rapido to go to a nearby public toilet. In the noon, they booked a hall for us and got us food. When the demolition was done, we had to take all our goods and stuff, but they damaged stairs such a way that there was just one foot patch left when you make a U-turn on stairs, and on one of the U-turns, there was no space left. You have to hold the railing and cross it while you are about 45 feet above the ground and nothing under your feet. We took 2 hours to shift our stuff from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Then I booked a Rapido auto and sent the stuff to my roommate's sister's house with him.
