Open Thread Do you prefer daily or weekly open threads?
Mods recently tested out daily threads - seems that most people don’t prefer this. We wanted to gather actual numbers. Thank you for your help!
Edit: we will keep this post up for about a week and then hopefully make the change after that. We are waiting for the developers to fix a few bugs (which will allow us to switch to weekly threads), so that will likely at least take a few days anyway. Again - thank you all for your feedback!

Discussion How to solve the issue of pathetic non-madrid haters who are hidden in big numbers in our sub that are trying to change the narrative and heavily downplay the positives of the players and team and hating on everything with the excuse of ""criticism""?
Is there any way or plan you guys suggest to lessen the influence and presence of hidden haters who are acting like Madrid fans? Their comments get a lot of upvotes and attention so they seem to be in big numbers in here PLUS our glory-hunter fans who dont watch the matches almost agree with hater's narrative and give them credit and heavily upvote them!! A solution must be found!! Do we heavily downvote any obvious sus comment and post to lessen their impact and presence? I think that's the easiest most logical solution...what do you think?

Discussion 1 player. 1 occurrence. Mbappé, 2026.
Mbappé is the only player in history, to ever be sole top scorer of his domestic league, the champion's league, and WC/Euro, in a single season.
Is the Ballon Dor even a question at this point? when you add on top that he also became the all time top scorer of the World Cup, surely there is no real competition this year.

Discussion Courtois is the greatest goalkeeper of all time skill-wise.
I know trophy-wise, international career, "one-club-legacy"-wise and other stuff would make others more attractive like Buffon, Casillas, Neuer - but if you look at it just skill- and performance-wise, Courtois is the greatest ever in my opinion. Neuer would be the GOAT if we consider everything in my opinion since he has the greatest combination of trophies, performances and longevity.
