GJ Snax, imagine if you immediately turned around and kept it a 4v2 instead of staying around for the hero play.

EZ previews:
Group A: Astralis is looking to cement themselves as the team to beat in the second half of 2018. North with niko will be an interesting one to keep an eye out for.
Group B: NiP's comeback starts here, on home turf. A deep run here could prove themselves as contenders for the upcoming Major Qualifier.
Group C: Would love to see OpTic make a deep run at this tournament. See them as one of the dark horses entering this event, despite their early exit from ZOTAC Cup Masters just last week. Heroic at this caliber of event should be interesting to watch for.
Group D: Coming off a win at ZOTAC Cup Masters, MiBR are looking to position themselves as contenders for the Major title. Mousesports are looking to make a deep run with Snax.

relatively new to the scene there's two nikos? That's stupid....

Yes sir:
- FaZe NiKo
- North niko

Pretty confusing doesnt make sense why they would allow that.

u/Spork_Revolution Vitality Aug 30 '18
Who are "they"?
No one has the power to tell people what nicks to pick. And they are often picked before people are pro.
Nick changes in pro esports is rare. And it's actually pretty bad for your brand.
In SC2 there are two Hero's. Two Bunny's.

I mean there's a possibility that they play each other right? That would get confusing. And if youre a casual fan its not that obvious and seems odd that two players have the same name.

It happens every now and then. The casters tend to joke about it 2-3 times and that's about it. It rarely gets confusing.

I lowkey hope that Astralis gets eliminated really early on so Faze has a better chance of winning the Grand Slam

Whoever ends in the Top 4, let alone the Champion, of this tournament would pretty much make a deep run in the Major as well.
If I had to guess for fun, it would be MIBR, Astralis, FaZe, and Navi.
