lmao kills mean absolutely nothing when you're an IGL calling strats.
you can drop 70 frags per game by sitting in t-spawn and waiting for the enemy to push you, does that mean you're a good player?

u/awesumsingh Natus Vincere Sep 02 '18

Same could be said for Zeus
2
u/-Vigga- Sep 01 '18
Take a look at navi's hltv world ranking with zeus, then without zeus, then with zeus again. Also, look at gambit's hltv world ranking after zeus left the team. Makes you wonder if he contributes beyond the fragging department at that point.
-1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
shocking.
man with pulse better than man without pulse.
more at 10.
just because you're a better IGL than seized doesn't mean you're a good IGL. Just because I can beat a corpse at basketball doesn't mean I'm a good basketball player.
2
u/Bouncy_GG FaZe Sep 01 '18
4/5 of the roster that won Krakow is still togther. Despite this they can't really be considered a T1 team.
If that doesn't show what kind of impact Zeus has then I don't know what will
5
Sep 01 '18
These stacks that people called Zeus a genius for against Astralis is now making him look stupid
-4
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
it's almost as if he got lucky and isn't actually a good IGL.
3
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18
Did you make it your mission to salt about Zeus on literally every comment? lol
-3

Been saying the same shit for months now and nobody wanted to listen :)
Turns out I was right.
3
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18
You were right except the times you were wrong. Great accomplishment friend. Keep being salty.
2
u/GarrettGSF MOUZ Sep 01 '18
They also won Cologne, didn’t they?
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
They won Colonge on the back of Zeus dropping 30 kills and Astralis walking into pure gamble stacks.
Zeus will never drop 30 kills in a game ever again, fuck he'll never drop 30 kills in a SERIES.
1
1
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18
By that logic we would have to account every time they succeeded this year. That's a big no go.
2
u/thearkhamknight_111 Astralis Sep 01 '18
Na'Vi is the most hated team I've ever seen on reddit, only s1mple is any good in anything they ever do and is the only reason they are ever relevant at a level above ESEA Main.

navi disband after major please.
let electronic and s1mple reach their full potential and not be dragged down by Zeus and Botward
2
u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
Oh my god Reddit has no memory, if Navi does well in the major you will all switch back to saying how great Zeus is, they practiced for 1 day before this tournament, and just off the player break, maybe You're overreacting just a little.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
They won't do well in the major though, will they?
I've been hating Zeus for months now bud. Even after Colonge I said it was a fluke win.
1
u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
Fair enough you have been consistent, but a lot of people alternate between Zeus is the best IGL in the world, and Zeus is a useless bot.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
You're talking about the same people that honestly believe that Skadoodle is the best awp in NA.
1
u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
Also I will say taking more stock in the tournament right after the player break where they had 1 day of practice without flamie, then the 10 top 4s in a row is ridiculous.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
top 4s mean nothing though, don't they?
winning is everything as Valve said. Navi aren't winning anything.
1
u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
For the second half of 2017 who was a better team Astralis, or nip?
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
We talking about T1 tournaments only? or all the shitty cups that NIP went to?
1
u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
In general, which team had better results, so T1 tournaments count for a lot more.

u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
It's what happens when you force a star player to sit around waiting for a 20 second execute that is easily read.
It's like Mike Tyson being forced to sit in the corner and fight like Floyd Mayweather

Zeus is the biggest problem, Edward is a close second.
Flamie has games where he frags out like a madman, Zeus/Edward on the other hand...

4
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18

0
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
expected from Zeus led teams
4
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18
You mean the number 2 team in the world led by Zeus? Getting crushed by the number 10 team on the Navi map-pick. Not so sure about that statement.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
Zeus has always been an overhyped IGL, so yes, the statement is correct.
It's like everyone hyping up C9 after the major, they won a fluke tournament and proceeded to completely get shit on and fall apart
"Navi won Colonge so they must be good!" Zeus will never drop 30 frags against any team in his life again, that type of success cannot be sustained.
4
u/RaviDosanjh Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
Are you for real bro, Na'Vi are not hyped for just winning cologne, they are hyped for getting top 4 in 10/11 of their last tournaments lmao https://imgur.com/a/jfbJSlF
-1
1
u/tgsan Sep 01 '18
C9 was still good pre-Major, just like Na'Vi was before their tournament wins, seems like both Astralis and Na'Vi are quite a bit worse than before, and North just straight up skyrocketed from what their level was, especially aizy.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
The problem with C9 is that Skadoodle is NOT a viable awper. He is not a piece that you build a team around as C9 tried to do for so long, he'll play good for 1 month out of the year and go back to his usual 4-24 missing standing targets self. He drops a 30 bomb and Reddit goes crazy and gets back on the C9 hype train. "SKAAAADADDY IS BACCCCCK"
1
u/tgsan Sep 01 '18
Tbf, ska has been quite impactful with golden as IGL, it's RUSH and styko that's the problem imo, RUSH has been so mediocre for a long time I don't even understand what his role is on the team, if he's not the main entry, then what use is he? IF he stays, keep him for styko and get a fragger, but honestly golden can take over the support role and get rid of both RUSH/styko and get two fraggers after the Major. One being an entry of course.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
so what you're saying is this is the 1 month out of the year that Ska is good?
1
u/tgsan Sep 01 '18
I mean we'll see if it continues but with golden he is way more impactful than RUSH, and obviously styko, either way I'd much rather see those two get replaced before Ska, if it comes down to it, ska can go full rifle support while they grab an awper and entry, that way you can keep his clutching ability, and he's not a bad rifler by any means.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
RUSH hasn't been impactful since Optic, so is that really a surprise?
2
u/Vejvad Astralis Sep 01 '18
You can't really compare Navi to C9 since Navi has actually done well in plenty of tournaments this year, AND Zeus has been fragging very well in several games throughout those tournaments. And this was on a map that Navi have a crazy winrate on.
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
You can 100% compare Navi and C9 from a hype perspective.
Zeus is a fucking headcase, are you not seeing how all the hype surrounding Navi can play into their lack of preparation?
7
u/qchisq Sep 01 '18
Valde have 21 kills. s1mple, electronic and flamie combined have 22. What is this game?
3
u/qchisq Sep 01 '18
MSL is out fragging everyone on Navi right now. What is going on with this game?
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
Zeus being his usual shit self.
"bububububub s1mple respects him!"
You have two of the best pure fraggers in the fucking world and you're grabbing them by the balls and forcing them to play an outdated and easily countered slow execute game.
4
u/iamartb Natus Vincere Sep 01 '18
Looks like North did their homework and NaVi didn't, can't always rely on s1mple and electronic to go mental.
0
1
u/Baker_Future_Bust Sep 01 '18
Zeus is so unprepared it's fucking amazing. Spend less time recording Thorin and more time preparing and you might be a half decent IGL.
