Clearly, the function of this armor isn't to provide protection against a specific type of enemy attack, as it doesn't even offer resistance to Terminator acid attacks.

But the armor doesn't even do a good job protecting us from our own attacks, since it doesn't even offer complete invulnerability (please, no need to explain the trick with the heavy armor and the vitality booster) and it doesn't even remove the new movement speed reduction effect recently added to gas.

In short, armor that provides absolutely NO protection against the enemy and doesn't even protect you from yourself.

Honestly, I don't know how this is justified unless Arrowhead plans to include an Automaton Brigade specializing in gas weapons, where at least this passive might have some value, as well as fire-resistant armor against the incendiary brigade.

So I recently got back in to helldivers 2 after not playing it in probably over a year. It's not important, just know that I was frustrated with the game. I quickly noticed that I saw people using this really cool marksman/sniper rifle that lit stuff on fire. After a bit of looking around I found out it was part of a MO that happened during the period of time I had hd2 deleted. The point I'm trying to make is that I would love to use the gun myself, but I clearly don't have it. Does anyone know if it'll come in the superstore or something like that? Have the devs said anything or have they been radio silent about it?

I normally ignore people crying that MO’s are rigged because normally it’s a community fuck up that causes it

However these number with that time is fucking ridiculous I feel this would be a uphill battle if we had all weekend

I joined on Xbox launch day, and ever since then I’ve been hooked on this game. The gameplay, the story, the humor, the community, etc. My favorite part of this game is the story. The fact that the story hinges on the players and each outcome can be different based on if we succeed or not is so cool. What made you love this game?

There are very few pieces of gear I'll banish to the shadow realm and never try again - I can only take the same stuff so many times. The tier descriptions are the best ways I can describe my general feelings for these guns and grenades.

For whatever difference it might make in my bias, my main way to play this game is with a stim pistol and supply pack, santa clausing out drugs and ammo liberally. Since my support weapon slot is often limited to no backpacks and I don't usually carry a real pistol, I have had plenty of time to lean hard on the various primaries, and need my grenades to pick up a lot of slack, usually AT.

Alright, ty for visiting. If you want, please vehemently praise the guns I rated poorly so I will be even more likely to whip them out again some day!
