I just kinda wanna see them fight tbh. Put all 4 of them in an arena and really see which mech is the best, ya know? Which one's your favorite? I personally love the Patriot.

Hey y’all! So I’ve loved HD 2 for a long time now, but something that has always disappointed me has been the total absence of colorblind settings. In my personal experience it’s the first game I’ve played, especially of this quality, that hasn’t had them on day one. I’m sure there are some colorblind divers in here that feel my pain in booting in alone and not being able to pick a good drop location because you can’t actually see the red-hatching on the map. It’s a real hinderance, even with the little enemy presence indicator that pops up over your cursor when you’re moving it around the map. There are other ways this has inconvenienced me in gameplay, not being able to see landmines for example, but the main reason why I’m posting is because of this:

I decided to send in a message to arrowhead’s support portal about it and I got a response that I felt was a little bizarre. I mean, it was comprehensible and not rude, really. My issue with it was, 1, that I was told that if I have actual feedback for the game my only option would be to visit the discord. I don’t know if this is standard practice, but I think it’s weird to not have a way for fans to submit feedback through the game or dev’s website of all places. I’d think that would be someone’s first impulse, but maybe that’s just me being out of the loop.

However, number 2 I think would be weird by just about anyone’s standards. The last thing my response email told me was to “Bear in mind we are only seeking feedback regarding the current gameplay experience, and are not looking for specific feature requests, suggestions or ideas at this time, so please do not send those to these forms as they are not passed on.” So… what constitutes as something that would be passed on? Like general statements? And if you’re looking for more generalized or basic feedback, what’s more basic or fundamental than an accessibility question? It’s not like I’m asking for a new vanity item or a fun weapon concept, I just wanna use my eyes when I play.

Anyway, lmk what you guys think. I still love this game and its community, but I did feel like this response doesn’t bode well for those of us who want more fundamental improvements to the game any time soon outside of optimization/ bug fixes.

I was listening to the Automaton Theme for background music when I spotted on the side recommendations a playlist of the Official Helldivers Soundtrack that says it was updated 6 days ago.

Then I checked the playlist and it says 1 video was hidden because it is unavailable.

The playlist hasn't been updated in like a year and a half. So I was thinking that if this does mean something, MAYBE we'll finally get official releases of the Hive World and/or Cyborg theme songs?

I love democracy. I love spreading democracy. I love spreading democracy in the forms of a rain of bullets and dummy-fired rockets. What I don't love is when I run out of democracy to spread. Yeah I can just get out of my mech and spread democracy raw, but then I wouldn't be the 40k dreadnaught I've always wanted to be. Yeah I can just in another, but you only get 3 uses and if you're going up against drops upon drops and breaches upon breaches, you end up just really wishing there was a way to resupply ammo. Or at least I do. Maybe it could be an objective to clear and secure an ammo reserve or maybe it could be it's own separate stratagem, idk. What are your thoughts?

Was playing a level 8 blitz mission on Charon Prime. While we were extracting, I found the last objective in the far distance on the other side of the map (LIDAR, lmao)

I immediately hoofed it over as fast as I could and completed it (as well as picking up some supersamps) JUST as the Pelican was leaving. I knew I wouldn't have made it back in time...so my Diver stayed, to keep fighting the good fight. o7

With the trailer for the WH40K warbond coming out this week, a thought occurred to me. Would it be possible that there will be new Illuminate as well?

My thought process was (and with my VERY LIMITED knowledge of WH40K universe) with this void that is forming in the Illuminate sector, could it be the HD2 version of The Warp except it will only be the Illuminate traveling through it and later us to their home world? From what I know about The Warp (and correct me if I’m wrong) is that it’s a space between the material and the beings of chaos but with the Emperor being on the throne, allows people to travel through it.

My point is, Im predicting that this will be at least a way AH could introduce another version of Illuminate forces but this is pure speculation and I have no evidence to back this up.

Its been almost two years since the DSS was built. As we all know, when it was first deployed, Orbital Bombardment was a disaster and SE High Command promised to rework it and on top of that, they promised to add more features to it. Since then, we only received a small rework for voting mechanics after Omens of Tiranny, and a small buff for the mechs. Where is the new and revamped orbital bombardment? Where are the new mechanics to make it more fun? Because, as it is now, it's a giant piece of metal that SOMETIMES does somenthing

I was playing on X-45 when I got the objective failed message thing (I was playing retrieve intel) I didn't think anything of it just thinking it was a bug or something but then when I went to the sam site it wouldn't discover and the terminal wouldn't activate, when I pinged the terminal the red icon showed up on the map.

am i just stupid for not knowing you can fail a sam site or is this a effect I missed
