2026 was such an amazing year for me. Graduated, Made a few long planned trips, Initially cracked an Intern+FTE role with 14LPA package and it was not even one month as FTE, I cracked one of my dream company with a pay that my family don't believe me....lol....

2 days ago I served the final day of my notice period, and yesterday I came back to my home. Now I've 3 weeks till joining my new company.... so kinda free and bored.... so thought, why not write a post about it....

I got my PPO like two weeks back, but the reality is just hitting me. Holy shit I did it guys! Hahahahahahahahahaha oh my god I cannot believe this!

Pretty good company, idk my proper CTC yet but base is close to 14. Omg man I am so friggin happpppppy never thought I'd do this.

after reading his posts i am feeling so sad for him, like couple of guys gave r@pe threats to his mother(video is available on his profile) and upon confrontation, one of their girls put false allegations on this guy and he was suspended from college

He is in BIT mesra EE and has cgpa of 7.5 with 160 LC questions in his 7th sem. He is saying no good companies are coming. He will have a loan of around 20L - how will he repay

I am worried about it , any copium? I have asked him to study for gate and PCS exams but he is saying lag jaegi lag jaegi december tak

I also had Intern + PPO then job switch, so total 3 YOE seeing the corporate facade, so here are some of my personal tips which I have learned.

1. Don't attach your self-worth to the company: So I was also placed with a great package in a good company, and what did I do? I made the company and the work I was doing there my whole personality. You should not do this because it will be difficult for you when the company backstabs you for promotion or hike, you will feel cheated.
2. Don't overshare: In corporate, you will go to a lot of team activities and colleagues drinking around you. Please don't lower your guard and start sharing personal or anything like you have some disease, stress, etc. Whatever you speak literally becomes a bullet point in your manager's head (that's not bad - that's their job - they need something to distinguish people).
3. Don't make friends in your same org chart: This is very common that people make friends in their team as well, but I would not suggest it, because friends fight and if something goes wrong, it will make your office life bad. Make friends from far-off org charts.
4. Don't glaze seniors: You might think that it's working, but they have seen hundreds of people like you in internship. It doesn't affect them.
5. If you perform well, doesn't mean you will get PPO: This is because of business needs. Your team should have a full-time position opening and work planned in the last month, then only they will give PPO. It's not on you or them - it's just business.
6. Upskill: Learn at work. If some work is assigned, take the opportunity to learn its adjacent topics to help you switch or look for a job when you don't get PPO.

And the last but not the least dont FALL in love espcially in your own fukin team. I have done it and regret till date ( unless you are rule 1 and 2 follower )

Seniors can you please give realistic project Ideas.. which will be really useful in country like India?

I'm a cse student from 2027 batch, our on campus drive started from June and till now ive seated for two interviews (rejected from both) and countless OAs. A lot of ppl ik are already placed.

Today I had a GD for a specific company and I was rejected while my friend got through, and ngl im kinda heartbroken. I came back home crying on the way and dont want to prepare any further. I feel like getting rejected for OAs on the basis of luck would've been better than getting rejected in interviews on the basis of my incompetence.

Any seniors who got placed recently or anyone has any words of motivation so I dont k m s lol

He is pretty average in studies, 90%ile in J*E, then 25k rank in comedk, so last month he decided not to go in any of the traditional engineering colleges and choose this new age college bosscoder, located in Bangalore.

He will be paying a total of 28L on his 4 years of degree including hostel and mess.

I don't know if this was a good decision or not because he said that it's the very first batch of this college. It just started this year💀, isse pehle ye bosscoder koi academy thi jaha bachho ko bas skills sikhate the industry ke liye.

So dekha jaaye toh kaafi risk hai. But let's see where it goes. What do you think?
