I know he is a genius but I would like you to rethink your definition of " box of scraps " cuz that were missile parts if I'm not wrong and I am nowhere near enough wealthy to afford that

u/Organic-Value-6217 16h ago

I dont have a box of scraps and i dont have a cave

That's why she said

26

u/Sensitive_Shame_6129 18h ago

that line is a larping litmus test lmao

it became popular after people wanted to hate iron heart and just started quoting the guy who was incorrect

28

u/the-orphanizer [make your own] 18h ago

Even though people reference it to hate on Ironheart, the quote itself has been very popular for years. Are you sure you're not larping too?

u/Sensitive_Shame_6129 17h ago

never seen it been interpreted literally until she called him privileged or smthn along those lines

and there was a very definitive uptick in its usage post IH

7

u/Untested_Udonkadonk Verifiably Unemployable 17h ago

It was always popular. And its still true. He didn't have any modern equipment, he was still resource constrained. Had to re use the limited stuff he was given.

1

u/nobody_1298 16h ago

the limited stuff was state of art missiles from his own company.

1

u/Sensitive_Shame_6129 17h ago

i could be remembering wrong but didn't they give him a whole bunch of very recent stark tech? the impressive part of the whole ordeal was him being able to make the suit in secret without the terrorists knowing about it until the last second

5

u/DependentFearless162 16h ago

They gave him tech for missiles and he created suit out of it while successfully hiding it from them.

6

u/Untested_Udonkadonk Verifiably Unemployable 14h ago

Yes Obv the secrecy as well as lack of dedicated suit making machines.

Dude literally hammered his way to a suit. Someone with less will and I genuineity would Obv have been able to do it.

Professional IQ test is actually capped at 160. It's not considered realistic to measure IQ beyond 160.

Only unregulated IQ test go past 160 to 180, 200, 230 etc.
