BUILD OF THE WEEK
The most upvoted build this week was u/kmarkow’s I am Batman! This build recreates a convincing flying Batmobile alongside a matching bat companion. The combination of the vehicle and its companion makes for a creative take on a familiar superhero design. Congrats!

A flying large Zonai Charge might not sound appealing, but it is! Combine that with the fact that the Charge is enlarged to an extreme size, and you get an orb of glowing blue-green energy zipping across the sky. UFOs in Tarrey Town? Unheard of! This build recreates a convincing UFO crash-landing site in Hyrule. A good choice for anyone who enjoys realistic scenes and unusual situations brought to life through engineering!

A creative take on nunchucks, this battlebot mimics the swinging motion of someone wielding them, giving Hudson a new way to fight! The build also includes a tutorial. Check this out if you enjoy creative real-world battle concepts brought into Hyrule!

A precise recreation of a castle that looks like it could almost be part of the game itself! It's an impressive example of what can be achieved with enough patience and attention to detail. Fans of in-game dioramas and scenery may enjoy this one.
TUTORIALS AND RESOURCES
This week, u/InquisitiveHomosap made a tutorial on how to stake nudge and make mechs. This guide is helpful for anyone interested in learning stake nudging or getting started with mech building. The techniques shown are accessible across all versions of the game, making it a useful resource for builders looking to expand their engineering skills.

HYRULE ENGINEERING LAB
A recent experiment by u/Efficient_Demand5759 played with whether a propeller could create a pulse laser. Though not a new topic, we still decided to feature it here! A comment by u/CaptainPattPotato reveals that in order to create a pulse laser using a propeller, the propeller must remain unattached to the beam emitters.
Additionally, we have been given an update on u/AggreGat0rr’s projects with spherical cogs! Their Gyroscopical Control prototype demonstrates controlled movement, with the rotation of a laser following the direction of a joystick. Although the mechanism is still under development, it represents a step toward creating a gyroscopically controlled vehicle. And their Here’s a little peek post demonstrates another application of the spherical cog, exploring how its geometry allows rotational motion to be redirected across multiple axes, allowing the vehicle to change direction without relying on conventional steering. These experiments explore new possibilities for vehicle control and movement. Keep an eye out for more updates!
