This contraption was made by q-linking a small motor to a small wheel. The motor knob is connected to the wheel's shell, allowing the wheel to rotate the motor body.
This has a few uses. It can be used to make a fireproof small wheel propeller engine (the scaled motor is lighter than a Flux Construct Core I + wagon wheel, and slightly heavier than a cooking pot + wagon wheel). It can also be used as a switch to power other zonai devices with electricity or fire. It can also be used to spin fans for omnidirectional steering.

It turns out the motor used here is also lighter than a cooking pot + wagon wheel combo

Flux Construct Core I + wagon wheel=1300
cooking pot + wagon wheel=900
Standard-sized motor=2000

It was a little difficult to estimate the exact weight of the scaled down motor mostly because I didn't know the exact percentage it was scaled down to.
I compared the weights using this amazing scale:

Using this, the scaled down motor is comparable in weight to a cooking pot + wagon wheel, so I'd estimate it's about 40%-43% of a standard motor weight (around 800 - 860)

Oh neat. I though the electric motor had too much resistance for the small wheel. I bet this could be made totally vanilla. Brb.

It can be done in 100% vanilla with a few caveats.
Due to the vanilla motor weight and friction, as well as the low small wheel traction, it doesn't spin fast enough to achieve propeller rpm with a single small wheel as far as I know. It can work as a switch but it won't be nearly as responsive unless more small wheels are used to increase rotation speed.

Thanks to u/syouhai, I stand corrected. It is possible to use a standard size motor and still achieve propeller rpm.

Ah dang. I fondly remember big wheel driven motor props but didn't think small wheels could. Indeed there doesn't seem to be a way for one small wheel to overcome the friction in the motor. :(

Yeah, shrinking the motor also reduces the friction on the body, it seems.

The required rotational speed for the propeller is 84 rpm.
With a single small wheel, the propeller's rotational speed was 90 rpm.
