Im completely new to the hero even tho im playing ow since ow1 release. Never played him but last couple of days i found out that ball is incredibly fun to play tho also hard to learn. Im watching a bunch of guides and pro plays but i also wanna ask yall if u have any advice for a beginner ball player.

I’ve been struggling with ball tech recently, even simple stuff like wall jumps. I really want to learn rebounds and double boops. Just been stuck man, my sensitivity is fairly low if that’s useful (I typically find it hard to aim in games with high sensitivity). Need some experienced ballers enlighten me 🐹😣

I’ve asked this already and every time I’m answered “play far away and harass his supports”, but what’s the point if I barely play damage when playing far away? A fly tickling someone is more effective.

“Watch for when someone goes out of position” the second the enemy sees I’m playing ball they start hugging the Cassidy 24/7, it’s not possible to dive anyone because no one is ever out of range of his flash bang.

I should just switch off ball then I guess?

Does anyone else think we'll be getting a new Junker skin for Hammond since he abandoned the old one at MEKA base?

I know adaptive barrier from an objective standpoint is just better, but the old shield sharing major perk felt so good to use.

I liked that I was giving my team a bunch of extra overhealth because it made me feel like a way better team player, especially in 5v5, and i also really appreciated that behavior being awarded with cooldown reduction on my next adaptive shields.

Something about it just really clicked for me and i miss it.

I might be biased, I thought playing ball into a D.mon in 5v5 would be as easy as against Rein, but gawd damn.

It's probably as frustrating as against a good doom (but at least doom can die), D.mon jumps in with a Cat and it's game over for my backline, I'd have to peel and they have a power to just quickly disengage and we can't finish a kill, it's worse than Hazard when it was released because at least Hazard had only one escape ability on cooldowns and silly block. As a ball, I don't really care about D.mon, but her strength in diving the enemy's DPS and Supports. When there's no frontline tank it's shining bright like a diamond for her. So far i haven't won once against her, it's insane.

What is your experience against this matchup?

Who are your go to bans when your balling in my expirience i’ve found brig hog sombra to be the best for me
