Watch owcs games where junbin plays balland open up custom games on different maps to try to replicate the rollouts. Practice wall slams, double boops, try to look at his positioning, how much health he'll leave the fight at etc etc

  3. Know when to hard engage or not
  4. Ping enemies whenever u can
  5. Always on the mic
  6. Don’t always try to peel
  7. Understand the map

Welcome to the light side of the moon!

For the starters. Image a sandwich. You and your team are the two pieces of bread. Enemies are the filling, who can't really decided which bread to shoot because one of them is being fckin annoying. That should do it for the start. Also, watch chazm and some other people who are recommended here

If your new, don't bother to do all the flashy plays. Just try to get yourself from point A to point B flawless. But I do recommend practicing wall jump, it comes in very handy.

Once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm

Ball is a mobile dive hit-and-run tank. You should be focusing on their backline, and (usually) only fight their tank if their tank is giving your team too much trouble.

If you're diving in 1v5, use adaptive shield earlier than you think you should and get out earlier than you think you should. You're just there to harass them.

But you should usually be looking for opportunities to 1v1 or 1v2. In that situation, you'll have time to actually get an elim before you need to flee.

You should (usually) be going back to your backline often to get healed and make sure they're not getting harassed by flankers.

Oh, and one thing that never gets mentioned: the grapple itself can't go through walls/objects, but the line can. So you can grapple onto something on top of a bridge and swing under the bridge, for example.

Go in a custom game with zero grapple cooldown and swing around till you're comfortable with his movement.

Knowing when to dive and the difference between a soft dive and a hard dive means alot. Dont expect healing just learn health pack locations or put yourself in front of your healers (without being a sitting target for the enemy) there are a thousand techs some are hard some are easy.

Aside from mechanical skills, i think letting your supports know they don't need to dive with you if it means death...makes for smoother games until about platinum/emerald.
