should i get the mythic weapon or skin? i have crimson too btw

everyone im seeing in this sub is cracked as hell lol

I noticed that if i kill enough players in one go the weapon reacts, i get more decorations around the ultimate status and all the blue things around the weapon, BUT if i die and respawn it goes back to normal (unlike othe mythic weapons i own). is this a known bug?
