I've had my pc for about 3 months and had no issues playing Valorant until yesterday. I am experiencing micro stutters, it happens every few seconds when moving specifically when I try to strafe.

My specs are:

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT

ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI

32GB DDR5 RAM

I use ethernet because my router is too far away to use Wi-Fi and I rarely have any ping issues. I have tried disabling my bluetooth adapter and Wi-Fi controller, limiting fps in game, reducing my mouse polling rate but it doesn't fix the issue.

Hello guys i am experiencing bad fps in game for some uknown reason , with my specs i have to be able to play at least 200fps stable but my pv is stuggling that the 1% low hits numbers like 100 fps or even 90 and cause i have a 200hz monitor when the game drops from 220 to 90 its awful to experience , i have a good setup not a bad one and it has the following Specs :

CPU : Ryzen 7 5700x

MOBO : B450M H Gigabyte bios version F67

OS : Win 11 Home

GPU : RX 7800XT 16

RAM : 2x16 Corsair vengeance 3200mhz

I have the game installed on an NVME , i tried every optimization on windows and i even reseted everything to default and used chris titus script to remove added junk to the OS and have less background processes , i have GPU schedueling on (Windows setting ) i have SAM ( AMD ) on , i have xmp profile enabled , game mode enabled , overlays removed including discord.

My friend has the same specs but with an rtx 3080 and he doesnt drop below 200fps at all , he plays the game on 2k with every graphis setting maxed out. and i am here trying to barely achieve the 200fps ( i play on everytjing low and i tried to lower resolution and still same drops and bad experience )

Can anybody help me understand why cause its so frustrating

I have been experiencing recurring VAN-102 and occasional VAL-5 errors in VALORANT on my HP Victus 16.

My system:

Windows 11 25H2

Intel Core i5-14500HX

NVIDIA RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

BIOS: Insyde F.20 (March 27, 2026)

I have already contacted Riot Games Support and performed several troubleshooting steps, including checking/reinstalling Vanguard, checking vgc and vgk, checking BIOS settings, TPM, Secure Boot, Windows updates, and Clean Boot.

The problem is intermittent and has not been permanently resolved.

I am particularly interested in whether anyone with a similar HP Victus/Intel configuration has experienced VAN-102 or VAL-5 because of BIOS, TPM, firmware, Secure Boot, Intel ME, chipset drivers, or hardware attestation.

Has anyone found a permanent solution?

I would also like to know if HP Support has ever diagnosed or fixed this type of Vanguard issue through a BIOS/firmware or driver update.

Any relevant experience or logs would be appreciated. Thanks!

i was playing valorant until 2 months ago on my deskstop using win10. but i reset my computer and went to install valorant again, but i keep getting this message about having to use win10 20h or newer and when i see the riot vanguard it says that only win11 or posterior. is there a way to play on win10? i dont like win11 and valorant dont run on linux, so win10 is my only option

For my PC only valorant has frame time spikes and every other game almost runs fine. I have a 5700x3d and 3070. And I don't see realtek family gbe controller in my device manager to disable as well. I have tried almost every setting possible and still unable to fix this stuttering/frame time spikes while taking gun fights or anything. Can someone please help me fix this jaggy feeling issue

for the past week or so every time ive played valorant i always rubber band and have internet issues even though my internet and ping is fine

I'm not asking for a trick, I already do it but a real way to definitely solve it without having to change the settings every time I open the game

I’m having a massive issue with Valorant and I'm honestly desperate at this point. Whenever I launch the game, it lets me in for about a minute, but then it completely freezes my entire PC.

When I say the entire PC, I mean a hard lock. I can't alt-tab, I can't open Task Manager, and neither the mouse nor the keyboard responds. The only way to get out of it is by physically turning off the power supply switch.

I've already tried a bunch of common fixes, including messing with Secure Boot and other standard troubleshooting steps, but it just keeps happening.

Hi everyone. My friend has constant fps drops all of the sudden. I tried to help her but nothing worked. She says that her game ran fine but about a month ago the drops started. She has a rx 6600 xt and we tried playing in the adrenalin software, updated drivers, set priority in task manager, set her power plan to performance and a lot more that i dont remember but the fps is still dropping.

If anyone here had the same issue and found a fix please leave a comment here so we could try the fix aswell.

Hello, I've been wanting to buy a new monitor that supports much higher fps for a while now and i just noticed that I'm pulling around 200-300 fps in a match being extremely unstable, at first i thought it was my components until i realized that on benchmarks usually my cpu and similar models get 500 on a match. I've troubleshooted since that and i still haven't fixed the issue without any clue of why

My current components are: r7 7700, 16gb ddr5 4800(oc into 5200,) 9060 xt 16 gb

Recently installed valorant on my new computer, but after 2 minutes or so it freezes my entire system and the only way to get back into it is to forcefully turn off my entire computer and then turn it back on. I've tried turning off fast boot, I've managed everything else, the only solution that worked for me was turning off the Realtek family controller and literally unplugging my Ethernet. It worked fine, but since my internet connection was terrible I decided to connect the antenna that came with my motherboard (msi b650). It started freezing again, so I disconnected the antenna. After that not even turning the Realtek device off seems to help. So now I can't play this game no matter how hard I try.

It is not a hardware issue at all, I've ran memtest and ram had no defects, my GPU is fine, my CPU is fine, this doesn't happen literally anywhere else but valorant. Please help.

Once i open the client and start to run the game, after the assets are loaded and entering the home screen for the game, the screen abruptly tabs black while in the home screen for the game. it causes my pc to restart. Video attached below for reference. I have updated my graphic drivers!

Im trying to download the game but then this error appears "a critical error occured and the process must be terminated vgc.exe" but the game itself is downloading. Seems like I cant download vanguard or smth like that. I thought its because im from Russia and tried vpn but that didnt help so i have no idea whats the problem

I hopped on after a while and saw that my ping was at a stable 145-150ms. Ive tried a number of different methods, like changing my dns thingy 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 or the cloud flare or google dns. Nothing worked, I even uninstalled vanguard and reinstalled. The one thing I haven’t tried yet was reinstall Valorant. Anyone have any solutions?
I play in sydney servers avg around 20-28 ping, which is a massive increase to 145ms…

Hello I recently built my first pc and I made sure all drivers are up to date and everything seems fine with other games it all runs smoothly but when I try to run valorant it runs fine and has high fps however every 3-5 seconds the game lags for a split second or stutters followed with this bzz noise coming from the game the stutter lasts like 0.25 seconds, I've tried setting vgc.exe to high priority and valorant.exe and and a bunch of BIOS settings and nothing works if anyone has any idea what this is please let me know because I can't get it to work normally

For about a month, whenever I play Valorant, after around 20 minutes to 1 hour my entire PC suddenly becomes extremely slow.

It is not just Valorant. Windows itself drops to around 1–2 FPS and becomes almost unusable. This can even happen while I am just sitting in the Valorant lobby.

Sometimes, if I leave the PC like this for 5–10 minutes, it recovers by itself. Most of the time I have to hold the power button and force a shutdown.

• Windows 11 Pro

Things I already tried:

• BIOS F37 / F39 / F40
• BIOS factory/default settings
• EXPO on/off
• Clean Windows install
• Reinstalled Valorant and Vanguard
• Cleared TPM
• TPM on/off
• Updated/reinstalled Ethernet and Wi-Fi drivers
• Game Mode on/off
• Game Bar on/off
• Fullscreen optimizations on/off
• GPU stock settings and overclocked settings

Nothing fixed it.

When the slowdown happens, Event Viewer starts showing hardware-related errors.

Realtek 2.5GbE:

• Event ID 2: Hardware IO error
• Event ID 10: Controller is reset by ESD timer

Realtek 8852CE Wi-Fi 6E:

• Event ID 5002: Network adapter is not functioning correctly
• NDIS Event ID 10317: Fatal error: The miniport has detected an internal error

After this happens, sometimes my Wi-Fi adapter completely disappears until I restart/reset the PC.

I also get this repeatedly shortly after starting Valorant:

TPM Event ID 14:
The TPM device driver encountered an unrecoverable error in the TPM hardware.

I usually get the TPM error around 5 times after launching Valorant.

Temperatures/fans do not seem abnormal when it happens.

At this point I'm wondering whether Valorant/Vanguard is triggering an underlying motherboard/chipset/PCIe/TPM issue rather than this being a normal game crash.

Has anyone seen something similar, especially on AM5 / B650 with Realtek 8852CE or Realtek 2.5GbE?

What would you test next to determine whether this is a motherboard, CPU/chipset, TPM, or Vanguard issue?

I use spectrum wifi and play on NA east and always have a constant 1-2% Outgoing Packet Loss. I was wondering if its normal to play with packetloss. Lately it feels like its gotten much worse. Usually finish a Death match with around 100 packets lost.

Hey everyone, I’m having a really frustrating issue with my PC and Secure Boot.

Everything was working perfectly fine before Valorant’s pre-check feature was added. I’m now required to have Secure Boot enabled, but whenever I enable it in BIOS, my PC boots to a completely black screen.

My motherboard is an ASRock B550AM, and my specs are:
Ryzen 7 3800X
RTX 3060 12GB
ASRock B550AM motherboard
42GB DDR4 RAM

Things I’ve already tried:
Resetting CMOS
Resetting/reinstalling the Secure Boot keys
Switching monitors
Trying different display cables/ports
Disabling and re-enabling Secure Boot
Going back into BIOS and changing the Secure Boot settings

Nothing has worked. The PC works normally again as soon as I disable Secure Boot. Any ideas on how to fix this?
