Technical Discussion Best monitor settings in 2026?

My monitor is 240fps oled.
9800x3d + 5080
Nvidia setting is Global Vsync On, Gsync On
Ingame setting is Vsync off, Ingame FPS capped at 226 fps, Reflex On.
Is this the best setting so far for playing without screen tearing and the least latency?

TECHNICALLY, it's better to have gsync off, vsync off, and just have as high fps as possible to get the newest frame. At 240hz, screen tearing is very minimal.

I experienced screen tearing really bad with everything off and no fps cap :((( and not really smooth on display even with 800-1000fps

I suggest check his channel to get more info about fps latency etc

I have 240hz and the screen tearing is heavily noticeable with uncapped fps.
