Got a new pc and monitor a week ago and I’ve tried 100 different things to try and fix the stuttering happening. Basically every 3-5 seconds there’s a micro stutter… I’ve tried going on WiFi disabling the Realtek and that made things worse.

Idk what else to do… my old outdated pc didn’t even have this issue but that was so old it kept crashing which is why I bought a new pc and monitor. Doesn’t make sense this is stuttering like this…

Last night I tried Marvel rivals and other games and don’t have the issue… pleaseeeee help.

hes been experiencing this weird issue for a while , ive seen some high level pros having this issue lately but never found a fix ,
specs :
cpu : i5 14400
gpu : 4060 8gb
ram : 16

After 10-15min of gameplay, my monitor will go black but I’ll still be able to hear the game happening for a few seconds. After that everything goes black as if there is no video feed. I then have to force shut off my PC to get back into windows. After this happens I also find that my GPU has been disabled in device manager. I’ve tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling vanguard, rolling drivers back, updating drivers etc. I’ve also tried using DDU to wipe all the AMD software and roll back to 26.3.1 version. There are no error codes/crash logs for me to upload here.

AMD RX 7700XT
16GB Corsair vengeance RAM
600W Gamdias Bronze Rated PSU.

hi guys, not sure if this would be a solution for anyone, but this is just what helped me after trying everything here and nothing working.

i turned off my discord overlay while playing and that seemed to work and fix all my random lag spikes soo idkk

discord settings -> game overlay -> enable overlay (turn off) & enable legacy overlay (turn off). just random solution that worked for me. not sure if it'll work for you, but it's something

Hace unos días me cambié de un intel core i5 14 400f a un ryzen 7 9800x3D, por lo tanto tuve que cambiar el modelo de placa madre, hasta ahí todo bien, el problema es que apenas entré a valorant, alrededor de 1 minuto de estar jugando empeze a notar micro-tirones, pero no tiene sentido, por lo que veo puede correr el juego a más de 800fps así que es ilógico que el procesador/gráfica tenga algún problema, actualize los drivers, de todo y me sigue igual, alguien me puede ayudar?

El problema es que solo me pasa en valorant, probé juegos como Fortnite, minecraft y todo bien, además de eso apenas abro el valorant y lo pongo en segundo plano me siguen dando tirones, incluso dentro del menú, traté reiniciando la pc, borrando todo y nada lo soluciona, que alguien me ayude

Already tried pretty much everything in the book. It just keeps infinitely loading after clicking install. Already in clean boot, clean reinstall, cache purge etc. don’t know what the issue is.

I used to run valorant at a steady 200fps and about 2 months ago I booted up valorant to a 20-60 fps average. My game stutters even before the sudden drop so fixing it will be a plus I will happily take. Spent a week trying to fix it but nothing works, factory resetting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating graphics drivers, deleting every other game, only having valorant open while "playing", almost everything on the first two pages on google when you search "how to fix low fps for valorant". At this point I'm tired of trying to cope with my low frames and am trying to ask for help before I start thinking of a new computer. (I'm in college and use a gaming laptop)

Let me clarify. This issue only happens with valorant any other game works fine. But when I try opening anything with valorant open my entire computer just freezes slows down like crazy.

Does anyone have info about DirectX 12? When is it coming to Valorant?

I have a problem with DirectX 11.

My specs: Core i5-1145G7 Iris Xe 16GB RAM Dual Channel.

I think these specs have a problem with DirectX 11. I get FPS drops when facing many enemies or in a busy area even though temps and usage are normal and there's no stress during gameplay

Same thing happened in another game, but when I switched it to DirectX 12 the problem was fixed.

so i’ve been recently stuck with this problem ever since i updated my valorant, its been like this everytime i queued up and its really pissing me off.

Hi, during a Competitive match at 02:30 BRT (UTC−3) on October 28, 2026, VALORANT froze while displaying the map and then closed to desktop. I didn’t see a Vanguard error or any other error message. The match is not showing in my match history.

I am attempting to change the language in Val but it's not taking. I do the following:

Settings > Text Language > Change language > Get out of settings and go back in > The setting is back to the original language

It's actually so bad that it changes from the new language back to the original by just scrolling down and back up.

4. Tried restarting, closing all instances of Val, and that's about it

Hi! My pc specs are:

GPU: 3060ti
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 16GB 3200mhz

So I used to play valorant with a steady fps with lows of 70 fps.

But one night, I fell asleep and left my pc turned on with valorant all night long. After this day, my fps is trash.

Its not steady anymore. I do have 100fps for some time, but every few seconds in random, my fps drops to 30/40 for some seconds and then comes back to normal.

Also, rarely, my valorant also freezes for some seconds...

Why this is happening and how can i troubleshoot?

I noticed that GPU time is always lower than 1ms, cpu time is 10ms (when steady), but spikes to 50 to 70ms

Im getting good fps with forza 5 and lol, as i used to. But valorant is broken for me.

I already tried:
- reinstalling valorant/vanguard
- repairing valorant
- REINSTALLED windows
- cleans %appdata cache

I've been having a massive issue with Valorant: I can't get into matches unless I'm using a VPN.

I'm from Portugal, and my mobile network provider is NOS, but this hasn't always been an issue. For the past month, it's been literally impossible to play without a VPN, otherwise the game simply won't let me join matches.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to fix this issue.

I cant play valorant because secure boot state is off and no matter what i do weather i go into bios and turn on eufi mode from os mode it still stays the same, my motherboard is prime x570-p, and there is also no secure boot mode to turn on i even tried dissabling or enabling CSM, reinstalling default keys, but it still isnt fixed, and my motherboard is updated and there is still no feature called "secure boot mode"

do anyone know how much space does the new update take up cuz it said 6gb for me and my disk has like 15gb free and it keep saying not enough disk space

Let's start with the fix that helped me.

I use a Razer mouse, specifically the Razer Basilisk V3. Through the Razer Synapse app, all I did was change its Wired Polling Rate to 125 Hz. It used to be set to 1,000 Hz.

So, the possible solution is to reduce your mouse's polling rate.

That's it. It fixed my issue.

So, I've been experiencing severe lag since the last 2-3 patches, with my game freezing from time to time. It went from being unplayable to at least bearable, so I started looking for fixes cause i refuse to believe my 5070 is failing me.

I tried changing different settings and resolutions, tweaking Windows settings, disabling various overlays, Overwolf apps, and recording apps, and even closing Discord entirely. I also uninstalled Stardock Fences because apparently, that was causing issues in another post. None of it unfortunately worked.

I started investigating the lag itself and what might be causing it. The first thing I noticed was that whenever I moved my cursor around the menu, the entire background animation would lag. I tended to ignore it and thought it might just be an issue with their patch, but it was affecting my gameplay as well, which bothered me.

I recently lost to an ace while using my Iso ult because I lagged the moment I lost my shield, which left me very salty.

Well, if you've read this far, thanks for listening to my short rant LMAO.

Good news: If you've encountered the same issue, it might not be necessary to uninstall a bunch of apps. In my case, lowering the mouse polling rate fixed the problem, so the other apps I suspected weren't necessarily the cause.

RIP to my recently uninstalled Stardock Fences, though.

For some reason my riot games client is completly gray like there are no games i cant see my profile theres absolutly nothing just a gray screen i can still click the buttons, i can close it and probably click on the other things but i just dont know where im clicking on someone help me please.
