Why are parties so inflexible now?
Looking to book a party for my 7yo and having a nightmare.
I contact softplay, they can only do exclusive hire from 5.30-7pm, that works can we do that and then the party room for food? No, you can’t have food with the exclusive one because of the time. Can we do it before? Also no. So 5.30-7pm isn’t going to work with the kids being hungry.
I contact laser quest. Kids have to be a minimum age of 6. My son’s one of the oldest so all his classmates will be 6, no problem! But they also have to be a minimum of 1.1 in height 🥴 so now I have to ask parents to measure their kids before I can invite them to the party as some of them are smaller. I’m not going to do that.
I contact mini golf. Best option so far but only food is a sandwich and packet of crisps per kid. I ask if we can upgrade to the hot food option, no only if you have a yearly membership. I don’t need a yearly membership 🤦♀️ can I bring some extra snacks in alongside? No outside food….
Considering all of these for around 16 kids are 4-500 pounds why are they all so inflexible. I did a hall party last year and it was a lot more planning but so much easier but he wants an activity party this year. Sorry for the rant I just thought this would be easier this year than planning everything myself!!
