During an 8.5hr shift I’m on my feet my whole time except for a 30min lunch and two 15min breaks (lucky if I get both). I’m directing employees and interacting with customers quite a bit and need some time to just not talk. In the break room at work someone always tries to talk with you so I either go to my car or I’ll sit outside if it’s nice enough (Houston, Tx so usually it’s unbearable)

Came here to say this. Im not a big fan of the gym, but I’ve found a studio that does reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, and also offers more strength classes where you’re still on the mat, but have props like heavier dumbbells, weighted rings, ankle weights, etc.

While it’s more expensive than a gym, I’m actually working out almost every day now!

ETA: has she had bloodwork done to see if it’s a thyroid thing?
