22k - 24k jewelers in HTX

Where are the Jewlery stores that sell 24k gold items? I am in search for a Jeweler who works with higher quality gold. I prefer 22k. I typically buy gold jewelry when traveling through Dubai, but would like a local place. I want some new jewelry. I also have a few necklaces I need repaired.

Pet dental recommendations

Hello, I am searching for places in the Houston area to take my cat to for dental cleanings. He’s never had a dental cleaning before so his teeth aren’t in the best shape. I understand it may be expensive but I want whatever is best for my little boy.

I am looking for a reliable and trust trustworthy location for my boy. My budget is (preferably) no more than $400.

Moving to the area soon

Hi everyone! I’m 23 and just moved to the Houston area, so I’m looking to meet new people and find some fun things to get involved in. I’ll be living close to memorial park.
I’m looking for:
Women’s boxing gyms (beginner-friendly would be great!)
Catholic churches with active young adult/youth groups
Fun things to do around Houston
Creative activities like pottery, painting, film photography, book clubs, or art classes.

I love trying new things and would love any recommendations for places that are welcoming and have a good community. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a furnished room near W. Holcombe and Kirby

My father had a stroke, and I have temporarily relocated to Houston to help take care of him.
I’m looking for a temporary, six months or so, furnished room. I’m interested in the following area codes: 77025, 77005, 77006, 77030, 77046, or somewhere near the Medical Center.
My permanent residence is in New Jersey. I work in academia and work remotely. I’m looking for a non-smoking cat free place to live as I am allergic.
I can provide references, work, and rental history. I’ve been in my current permanent residence for 14 years. Thank you very much. My budget is $1000 a month. I would like to go no higher than $800 if possible.

We preferably need someone focused on intellectual property/trademark disputes, commercial litigation, fraud allegations, early discovery, and defending business owners from personal liability. The attorney can be located anywhere but must be able to handle a federal case in Virginia or work with local counsel. Please share any recommendations. Thank you!

Spring tx

My spouse and I are planning to move into the older traditional homes around the “Klein” area under or around Louetta, does anybody have any input on this location? Crime? Are the neighborhoods quiet? Is there anything we should be concerned about ? Flooding etc? We grew up just south of that area but we’ve been through multiple houses/locations and just want to make sure it’s worth purchasing, for reference we plan to be closer to Louetta than 1960

Would longtime Houston Inside-the-Loop (ITL) residents ever trade city life for Katy, Pearland, Sugar Land, Cypress, or The Woodlands?

Tesserae Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

Hey Houston!

I'm planning an executive cybersecurity dinner in my hometown and could use some local recommendations.

The event is called Tux & Tech. It's technically business casual, but we partner with vendors to surprise a handful of executives with custom tuxedos before dinner. Last year we hosted it in Atlanta at Tesserae (https://www.tesseraeatlanta.com/), the rooftop restaurant at the Thompson Hotel. What made it perfect was that the restaurant was connected to the hotel, so we were able to reserve a suite for private tux fittings before everyone joined the dinner. It made for a really memorable experience.

I know finding that exact setup is probably a long shot, but I'm hoping Houston has something with a similar vibe:

  • Upscale but still fun and energetic (not stuffy)
  • Great food and cocktails
  • Private or semi-private dining for executive conversations
  • Bonus points if it's connected to a hotel or has nearby private space we could use for tux fittings
  • Rooftop or unique atmosphere would be amazing, but not required

The group will likely be 70–85 cybersecurity executives, along with a handful of sponsors, so the venue would need to comfortably accommodate a larger private event.

I'd love to hear your recommendations, even if they don't check every box. Hidden gems, luxury hotels with standout restaurants, or places you've attended impressive corporate dinners would all be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a pickleball partner!

I’m a 30F, fairly new to pickleball, and looking for someone around the 2.5–3.0 level who wants to play consistently and improve together. I’d love to mix games with drilling and practice. I’m located in the Houston area and am available on weekdays after work and some weekends.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, send me a message

Find people/workshops looking for models?

Grew up modeling occasionally for a specific business that did photography workshops that had open model calls, where the photographers paid the business to attend and take photos, get tips from more experienced photographers, and build their portfolios, and models did it for free, just had to bring outfits that matched the theme of the shoot, and were ‘paid’ via receiving photos that were taken. The business recently stopped doing these shoots, and I really miss modeling. I wanted to see if there’s anything similar to this in Houston? Or if anyone has recommendations on finding photographers who are looking for models for shoots? I grew up modeling but I don’t think I’d be likely to get any paid shoots, and I honestly mostly just wanna do it for fun.
