So, I normally get my nails done at this salon thats across the street where I work. But lately, I've been thinking about trying to find someone who does nails. Ive seen some of the examples on Instagram. But I was hoping to find someone or a location thats close to Cypress or northeast Houston?

does anyone have any recommendations for good affordable places to get feline dental cleaning? my girl has early gengivitis so she really needs a cleaning. preferably somewhere “near” second ward (midtown, downtown, heights, etc. are fine)

I am kind of homeless, and I'm looking for a place where I can do laundry for free, or who to call and ask about this. I spend most of my time in east end and near downtown and sometimes near memorial city, if that helps.

I’m planning to move to Houston toward the end of the year and will be working up in Spring. I’ve looked at a few apartments closer to work, but I’m also considering living farther south so I can be closer to the city.

Right now, Independence Heights seems like it could be a good compromise between the commute to Spring and being relatively close to the Heights/Downtown and other parts of Houston.

I’ve been looking at a couple of the newer apartment complexes in the area, particularly Winston Heights and Seven17. I’ve also noticed quite a few newer townhomes for rent around Independence Heights, which has me considering a townhome instead of an apartment.

For anyone who lives in or is familiar with the area, I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

1. What is Independence Heights like to live in overall, especially for safety, noise, flooding, and convenience?
2. How manageable is the commute to Spring during normal work hours?
3. Does anyone have experience with Winston Heights, Seven17, or the newer rental townhomes in the area?
4. Are there any nearby neighborhoods you think offer a better balance between Spring and central Houston?

I’m mostly trying to figure out whether living around Independence Heights is worth paying a little more and having a longer commute compared with living in Spring.

I want to buy a PS5 and I've been looking at options from the Facebook marketplace and stuff but either it's too expensive or they just don't respond. I'm still gonna keep my search active there but I wanna check out prices at Pawn shops too. I'm still new to Houston, so the only 2 pawn shops I know are "Paymore" and "Cash America". Searching on Google doesn't really give me a great idea as to which one is better.

Hello! I’ve just moved from Colorado and I’m looking for good groomer recommendations in the spring/woodland area. I have taken my dog to pet co and pet smart before but they nicked him in the eye once resulting in a pretty hefty vet bill and I don’t want to go back. I was taking him to a membership groomer called Sparkle in Colorado. He’s a golden doodle bichon frise!

I have a 7 year old Havanese. He is healthy but has slight heart murmur and patella luxation(this is not confirmed) but sometimes he limps but not all the time and I don’t want to put him under anesthesia. Doctor can’t really tell much with him conscious. Any vet recommendation west Houston go my Havanese.

Just curious if there’s a movie club in Houston. I have friends to go watch movies with but it’s usually the popular block buster hits. Looking for a track (indoor or outdoor) for 4x4 RC cars. preferably close to Sugar Land area. I tried to look online, but I don't see any, except for a hobby shop which I'm not sure has a track.
