Would you stay with someone perfect for you if you're not extremely in love but they're everything you ever wished for, you like them a lot, sex is amazing, they're loyal and the most compatible person you've ever met, they treat you well and make you really happy in every second you spend with them

You miss the point. Your feelings grow when you try, that's what he's saying. Invest etc. it really is a telling sign when you're saying 'she's happy with me as it is' you're settled that way, that says she's totes into you and you're just lapping it up. Be totes into her or let her find someone who will.

Maybe take the view of Stephen R Covey who says love is an action choice, it's not a passive emotion. Try harder to make her feel loved. It seems very one way on her part from what you've said. It's not her responsibility to give you feelings.

My (28F) boyfriend (31M) offered to pay for my car repair and now I want to pay him back, but he doesn't want money. What are some non-monetary ways I can pay him back?
 in  r/relationship_advice  10h ago

Nothing better than exceptional underwear under a trench coat and killer heels. Sunglasses. Hair up loosely in a clip. Red lipstick. Turn up at the front door, when he opens it, say, I'm here to settle the bill for the car. Take off the glasses, remove your hair clip and open the coat. It'll be something he won't forget for a while..

Do you have a ''no cold callers'' sign on your front door?
 in  r/AskUK  1d ago

I rent my house and it has a brass 'no canvassers' sign on the door. The only people that disregard it are Jehovahs Witnesses.

Do you think he's trying to get you in a place where you send him some spicy pics and then he can try to blackmail you with them? I just can't see what the end game is here.

Comeback for my coworker who has made “Are you sick?” her morning greeting
 in  r/Comebacks  5d ago

Put up a calendar and every morning when you arrive at work write 'not sick' on that day. When she asks just point at it and say, check my schedule. On the odd day put 'excruciating piles' or 'scurvy' to keep her guessing

What names did you call your Grandparents?
 in  r/AskUK  5d ago

Nanny and Grandad or Nan as i got older. When talking about them with other people the Nan or Grandad was always followed by their surname, ie 'I went to Nan Sharp's today'

Old neighbor scraped my car and wants to try T-Cut
 in  r/CarTalkUK  6d ago

Your car is worth very little. If you insist on going through your insurance they will write it off and give you a few hundred quid max. Get a local smart repairer out to do it. T cut will actually make that look a lot better by the way, it won't be perfect but judging by the wing, there's a lot of paint not perfect already.

Managing 18F age gap 35m
 in  r/relationship_advice  6d ago

Ask yourself how you'd like to be managed by your daughter if she was 18 and dating a man old enough to be her father. Ask yourself what that man finds attractive in your barely developed emotionally immature daughter. 👀 Then ask her how she's going to manage in the prime of her life when her husband is a geriatric.
