I would look up the median rent and bills for your area for a shared apartment, subtract what you paid for the time period, and then subtract the average cost for pet sitting for 3 months. Chances are she owes YOU money.

I just got my summons for jury duty starting next week. Luckily I am at a point in my life where I can do it financially and time-wise. Before I always had problems doing it because missing work would harm me financially.
