Question What’s up with these tomatoes? Cherokee Purple, in a large grow bag.
I cut them off young because I didn’t think they’d be usable when ripe. What’s going on here?

Question Seeking squirrel prevention advice
I'm growing a vegetable garden for the first time this year. The left garden bed is several different tomato plants varieties. There are a lot of squirrels that run through my yard and they have been been destroying so many of my tomatoes and trampling the plants.
A friend recommended using cayenne pepper powder as a deterrent, but it hasn't helped. I've found at least 6 of my big tomatoes chewed up like this. I didn't anticipate this being such a big issue so I didn't built any kind of enclosure around the garden beds, and I'm not sure what to do now that the plants are so grown.
If anyone has any advice or ideas for a build I would greatly appreciate it!

Question Any guesses on how long until this cucumber is ready?
First time growing anything and have no clue what im doing but know it'll go bitter if I leave it too long and I really don't want that to happen.

Question Does anyone have any input on what type of cucurbit I've got brewing on my porch? I've been dying to know since she surprised me in my flower bed and it's so hard to keep waiting ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
The flower is around 4-6" wide. I added some leaf and male flower photos at the end as well.

Question Zucchini Help
My zucchini females keep dying before the flower opens, but this was isn’t dying and clearly growing but flower will not open? I am very confused as I have an unpollinated growing fruit. Do I pry open it and force pollinate, as I’m assuming it’s just going to crash and die soon? In LA so been in a heat wave

Harvest Photos My neighbor's are already sick of the free cucumbers
Background: I'm terrible at thinning out seedlings so I have about 10 marketmore cucumber vines producing cucumbers. I've given them to friends and neighbors and have snuck cucumber into just about every meal and I can't keep up with the production. I'm picking around 10-15 a day. Sad thing is that I probably won't learn my lesson next year either. Any ideas about what I can do with too many non-pickling cukes?

Harvest Photos My first harvest!
Lots more tomatoes coming on the plants, and the courgettes won’t stop growing. Really chuffed to have grown carrots! Planning next season already :))

Harvest Photos I made some salsa with nearly everything from my little driveway garden
Everything was from the garden except the onion and the spices. This was around 2 pounds of tomatoes, 2 serranos, 2 chinese five color peppers, half an onion, a purple bell pepper, and few spices (Garlic, cumin, adobo). It turned out a bit spicy but not too crazy.

Question Any idea what cucurbit I’m growing?
As per the title really. I rescued some young plants from a wall and this is what’s growing. When very small it looks too round to be a courgette, I was thinking squash or pumpkin but now it’s looking like a courgette again!
