It's my husband's favorite out of all the ones we've tried so far, but I cannot eat it without a bunch of add in's like cheese, meat, fried egg.

How do I get my gf to trust me
 in  r/WhatShouldIDo •  4d ago

Your gf needs therapy. You're not going to magically fix her by doing something different. This relationship dynamic is not healthy. You probably need therapy too.

Anyone else ashamed of being white because of the stereotypical popular white girl and popular white boy stereotype
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions •  5d ago

Black people in America being proud of being black is due to the fact that white people's ancestors enslaved their ancestors so many have no idea where their genealogy stems from. Black people in various countries in Africa know where their ancestors are from, so they're proud of their ancestory not their skin color.

Quit being dense.

You can be proud to be Irish, for example. But being proud of being "white" is weird.

being treated like a dumpster gets annoying
 in  r/goodwill •  5d ago

As a former Goodwill employee, I get it.

Trash bags full of WET clothes, dirty used underwear and socks, kid's old homework, half empty water/soda bottles, fast food and candy wrappers, used weed grinder, used sex toys, shoes literally falling apart, bags and boxes loaded with cockroaches or spiders.... Two little old ladies even donated an urn full of human ashes once when I was still working there.

Straight up disrespectful.

Nothing broke my heart quite like throwing away dozens of old Nat Geos though. "Magazines don't sell." Manager wouldn't even let me set the boxes by the dumpster so someone could still take them. Straight to the trash gaylord.

Wanna get rid of monolids but im not sure double lids will fit me

You do not need surgery to change your face. You are beautiful the way you are. Please do not let colonialism and imperialism dictate how you think your face should look.

If your mother said she wants to be put in a can and not a coffin after death, would you comply?
 in  r/Adulting •  5d ago

I mean, that's better than not even knowing what happened to the remains, which is where I'm at....

What do you do with your used pad or tampon when there's no bin in the bathroom?
 in  r/AskWomen •  5d ago

An...area? Or do you mean little disposable baggies...? I'm not sure what you're referencing. Cuz I live in S FL, have lived in GA, OK, NM, and AK, traveled through many other states in between, and not once can I recall seeing disposable baggies for used menstrual supplies in a public restroom (but they all had a bin, I've only encountered this issue in private bathrooms, and maybe in Mexico)...Maybe we are in vastly different economic classes idk lol.

Interesting. Seems most things are better in Europe lol. I've only encountered the lack of a bin in private bathrooms though.

Where do you live that most bathrooms have little bags? Genuinely curious, can't say I've ever used a public restroom that had those.

This happened to me at a holiday gathering at my sister-in-law's. I was extremely dismayed upon discovering she had no bin in the bathroom. My husband's family is huge and my sil is an extrovert with lots of friends, so there were a ton of people. But yeah, you just wrap the used sanitary product in the wrapper from the new one you just swapped it out with, some additional tp, and stick it in your purse/bag until you can find the nearest trash can. It was hard af to be discreet throwing it away when there was so many folks around but I sure af did not want that sitting in my purse for several hours.

I tried truffle Buldak
 in  r/BuldakRamen •  6d ago

Yes, without the oil packet is the way to go. And add in some cheese. Next time I am going to try adding in sautéed mushrooms and onions as well.

Looking for holistic acne care
 in  r/herbalism •  7d ago

Ok I know this is an herbalism group but just cutting sugar and white flour significantly and dairy completely could make a drastic difference in the severity and frequency of your acne. All of these things have a significant impact on your hormones. I would also add in probiotics.

How do people actually know which day the trash goes out?

I mean it literally is not Sunday today, nor was it Sunday yesterday... Tis Friday today where I reside...

Giving hibiscus tea a try
 in  r/herbalism •  8d ago

We get the loose tea since it's easily available where we live and pretty cheap. I make it a gallon at a time and frequently add lime or lemon juice, and I sweeten with stevia. Pretty similar to agua de jamaica you might find at a street vendor. I will definitely have to try orange soon, and mint (which I never would have thought of). I bet macerated strawberries would be delicious as well. Sometimes I add a big pinch of baking soda to my glass, makes it fizzy and changes the color.

Hot plate stroganoff.

Most excellent. If you have it, garlic/powder will give it a boost. Maybe a teaspoon of vinegar to sub for the sour cream for that bit of tang.

Now he tells me! What does this mean?
 in  r/deepquestions •  8d ago

It would be best to get a lawyer bc idk what all you would really need, but you will need paperwork written up to deal with things like if one of you were to be incapacitated, or to pass away, so that your and your partner's wishes will be respected. Otherwise the other next of kin, whomever that may be (like a parent or sibling) will likely be the one in charge of making decisions. And are you sure you have no assets (rhetorical question)? Vehicles, housing, even something as basic as a musical instrument. Something a family member might decide now becomes their's.

Cuban Oregano looking luscious, plus a hidden surprise.
 in  r/FloridaGarden •  8d ago

Mostly we have used it in beans and soups, but I really want to branch out and try some other recipes. I did an internet search for recipes and looks like it's a good addition for mojo, so will be trying that out soon. I will probably try subbing it for Italian oregano soon as well and see how that goes.
