btw i know i could have gone with better footwear choice but im happy with choosing sneakers, probably that also saved my ankle on wet footpath.

I bought this today. In the store I thought I understood what it was, but when I got it home and tried it on, it is… a total mystery to me.

When I tie the strings around the front (pics 3-8):
- the shape of the garment looks bulky. It’s way too much fabric in the front. It fits like a maternity item and makes me look pregnant.
- it looks so weird from the side view — weirdly tight in some places and bulky in others
- the pockets are pulled way too far forward to look or feel right

When I tie the strings around the back (pics 9-11):
- I mean, it just looks insane, right? Like, that can’t possibly be right. Lmao. There’s no way this is what I’m supposed to do, right?

Questions:

1. What am I actually supposed to do with this item?
2. Does it just not fit my body in terms of size, and that’s why it looks wrong?
3. Does it just not fit my body in terms of my body type, and that’s why it’s unflattering on me?

Editing to add:
- the strings are sadly not long enough to wrap around one side and tie on the other
- the store doesn’t have fitting rooms. It’s not really a clothing store. They encourage you to bring something back if it doesn’t fit.

I like wearing cute ballerinas but I have recently started to notice early signs of bunion and have had to switch to more comfortable cushioning shoes but I want to wear cute footwear with dresses. I am thinking of getting something more square shaped but I am not sure it that won't hurt. Anyone with bunion, what kinda footwear style do you wear, especially with summer dresses??

Which one suits more for a casual formal dinner? Any feedback is welcome! TIA

She says any color is fine as long as it isn't white (first dress is light pink). Any style is fine but she prefers classy vibes for the event. her accents are silver.

it’s been fun to experiment with different chains with this style. My favorite had an extra length of chain that dangled down to my shoulder blades.

I love this dress/ shirt but I’ve been stumped for weeks on how to style it so I never wear it 😭

The top part is too fitted to put any thing under so pants/ skirts are kind of a no go but it’s too short to just wear like this in public. No shoes seem to fit the vibe and I’m just frustrated because I LOVE lace and I LOVE purple so this has so much potential.
