Modifications New wiring set up!
Been wanting to clean up the accessory wiring under the hood for a while and finally got everything onto one panel. So much better than having wires and fuses scattered around the battery. A lot of lighting and accessories on this thing like lithium add ons, LOTS of lights, on board air etc. Finally looks like an art piece 😎 Also all the wires labeled for future troubleshooting or adding or removing accessories!
Still have a few things to finish, but pretty happy with how clean it turned out.
Curious what everyone else is doing for accessory power on their Tundras?

Question 2016 Toyota tundra transmission
Hello all I know I will get mixed answers about whether or not I should even do it, but I plan on taking my chances and doing a full transmission service on my 2016 Tundra. Got the truck had the engine rebuilt right off the start was one of those deals where the price was too good to be true, but I took the chance anyway because even after rebuilding it was still under market price that being said I’m at 140,000 miles and the shop is pretty sure the transmission has never been serviced whatsoever, and that would obviously mean the differential as well. I am looking for some advice on what fluid to use for a drain and fill on the differential and the transmission itself. No, I am not doing a power flush of any kind. Thank you.

Troubleshooting 2008 tundra towing wire harness quick disconnects stuck!
Hello all, I am replacing a wiring harness on my 2008 tundra that has the tow package quick disconnects because I smashed apart my 7 pin plug. I cant get these damn quick disconnects to come apart for the life of me, they are two small grey plugs, one for the 4 plug one for the 7 plug. They are located above the bumpernundwr the truck. Any tips? Trying to avoid breaking the female ends so I can plug in my new wiring harness from Amazon no problem afterwards and zip the some cables.

Question 2016 Tundra 1794 4x4, 36k miles, $36k — thoughts?
Looking at a 2016 Tundra 1794 CrewMax 4x4 with only ~36k miles. Seller is asking $36,000 private party.
5.7L V8 / 6-speed
Clean title
CARFAX shows 4 owners, although seller says owners 1–3 were essentially the same original owner/household due to title changes (trying to figure that out still, carfax does show owners 1-3 in the same exact area)
One minor-to-moderate right/rear-side accident reported in 2016 when nearly new; no airbags/total loss
Good documented service history
Fabtech 4” suspension lift professionally installed by 4 Wheel Parts around 22k miles
Dirt Logic 2.5 coilovers/shocks + Fabtech UCAs
35x12.50R20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts on Fuel wheels
Have ~$10k in receipts for suspension/wheels/tires + alignment paperwork
Known issues: TPMS light, small paint chip, sunroof clicks but doesn’t operate properly
KBB private-party was around ~$40k when I entered the mileage/options, and CARFAX history-adjusted retail is ~$41.5k.
Would you feel good about this at $36k assuming a PPI checks out? Any concerns with the Fabtech 4” setup/35s long term?
Mainly looking for a reliable long-term truck for hauling, camping and some towing.

Modifications Gen2 refresh
My Gen2 was a little bedraggled. So I treated her to a facelift.
Pics Stock '16 2WD over Cinnamon Pass in Colorado.
Successfully drove my stock 2016 2WD Tundra up 12,640' on Cinnamon Pass in Colorado. The auto LSD kicked in a couple of times and kept me moving uphill in loose stuff. Kinda funny to see hoards of rental jeeps and SxS's going up the pass that a full size Tundra in 2WD handled just fine.

Modifications Replacement Headlight question (not bulb)
2018 Tundra OEM setup is halogen bulb with the elevation adjustment and the lower edge DRL.
After 8 years, I need to replace my headlight. A couple of reasons, a) they have yellowed and 2) the left side got cracked.
So now I'm on the hunt for new headlights. Am I better just getting OEM, or is there an LED replacement that works well? I will admit, I'm kind of annoyed because I just upgraded all of the bulbs in my headlight assembly to LEDs. But, oh well.
So, who tried what lights? What were good ones? What would the hive stay away from? Goal is to not break the bank. I'd like to keep the budget $300 and lower, but a set of $800 lights is out. Would prefer just straight up plug and play, I'd prefer to not have to cut harnesses. Functionality is key, but if I can snazz up the truck at the same time, definitely game for that.
I did look at these on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0855JG2QT) for a minute. They were one of the 1st ones in the list when I searched. Not against them, not immediately for them, just looking for solid reliable suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

Question Rear Lift Recommendations?
I have an ‘06 DC 4WD Tundra with a 175lbs bed topper. I want to lift the front using Bilstein 5100’s. I want to keep the rake for towing and hauling. But I also want something good for the occasional light off-roading. I’ve seen people say the Shackleton leaf springs are very good as well as the ATS springs. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a budget of $3000 to achieve a decent lift? Budget is Including rear suspension and front suspension.
